Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Winterberg

We stayed at Anita's place for the second time. Like two years ago, it was very clean. The space complies with the descriptions. The sauna works great and warms up relatively quickly. The area is also great, there are a lot of nice activities. We missed the no longer existing hot tub (which was clearly not included in photos or description), but otherwise everything was great. We were 3 couples, 2 toddlers. The size of the house was great. Each had their own bathroom and retreat. The pool table, the hot tub and the outdoor sauna were great. A baby bed and a high chair were provided on request. We didn't lack anything. Next to the house is a large meadow and directly behind it a small playground. Perfect for the kids. The town of Cobbenrode is not large. In Eslohe, 7 km away, there are restaurants, shopping and also gastronomy with delivery service to Cobbenrode. Nearby, there are June and September Karl-May-Festspiele, unfortunately we were too early for that. For a long weekend with friends, to relax or to hike, the stay is definitely worth it. Spending time together and relaxing was important to us and that's exactly what we were able to enjoy in this great accommodation. Anna was always quick to respond to questions and was able to help remotely. Thank you very much.

Nice and complete house in a quiet area with lovely and sunny garden. The peace seekers can explore the beautiful nature during a walk or MTB trek (by ebike). For entertainment, winterberg is within a 10 minute car ride. Susanne is very hospitable and helpful.

It was perfect for our group of friends! The accommodation alone with numerous possibilities (saunas, bathtub, pool table, garden, super-equipped kitchen, television, books,...) has made for such eventful days that we would have liked to stay much longer to explore the area more (e.g. the charming Allstadt and the beautiful rural possibilities for walking, etc.). The house was so large and cozy that everyone had their own space when they needed it, but we could also keep ourselves perfectly busy in the group. Was a great vacation!

A great house, a quiet location. Perfect for up to 10 guests. The space is there. The check-in worked wonderfully, the communication from the host was fast and reliable. He makes a friendly impression. The house really has everything you need. The garden is huge and everything is very well maintained. We can't wait for the next visit.

On the spur of the moment, the three of us spent 2 days in Manfred's beautifully located house, quiet with a wonderful view. From there, we could make wonderful excursions into the surrounding area. We immediately felt very comfortable, the house and property are clean and lovingly maintained. Bathroom very small with shower. Bedroom small and friendly, kitchen offers everything you need (hot water takes a long time..) A kind of winter garden invites you to linger in the evening. Absolutely recommended for people with a love of nature in a beautiful retreat.

The accommodation was completely clean upon arrival and the beds neatly made. Almost everything speaks for itself. The center is within walking distance and if you walk down the driveway you have a view of Winterberg. Olaf was very friendly and offered us a place to store the mountain bikes. All in all, it was great!

We were in this beautiful holiday home for an extended weekend with 13 people. We felt very comfortable. Everything was clean and above all the children were super happy and could play in the beautiful garden with the toys. The Bach was a particular highlight. We will be happy to come back.

We used the accommodation for an extended weekend in the Green Hill bike park. Super nice host, Top holiday apartment, located directly at the bike park. Bicycles could be stored. Will definitely check in there again 👍🏻

My sister and I have a great stay af Christof’s place. The apartment is super nice and spacious, in the middle of the forest so hikes started at our doorstep. Christof was very friendly and flexible. Amazing!

Christiane is very welcoming. The place is quiet and peaceful as described. Everything was very good. The only concern we encountered is that there is not really a bike room, even though it is in the description. There was just a small outdoor shed with no lock and no attachment point. But we had two valuable bikes... But Christiane was very accommodating and let us use a storage room for one of the two bikes (too small to put both). We left the 2nd in the car. Otherwise, no worries. In short, we highly recommend the accommodation but perhaps not to cyclists who come with their bikes. 😉

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment "Ash." Everything was clean and tidy, we didn't miss anything. A special highlight for our daughter was the children's area. Since our friends rented the apartment "Pine" at the same time, the children were able to meet and let off steam in the playrooms. In addition, the apartment has a great location for all activities in and around Winterberg. We will definitely be coming back!

Top Airbnb! Beautiful garden with so many places to chill, swimming in the river on a hot day was so refreshing and perfect to reset from city life. It’s very peaceful, the apartment has everything you need, very spacious, clean and cozy. Dorothee was super friendly, communicative and thoughtful, we enjoyed meeting her as well! All in all great place to get in the nature and recharge.

Stephanie is a very, very dear, courteous, helpful host. Her apartment is beautiful, superbly located, has a great balcony and an incredibly beautiful view. The festival grounds and lake are just a few minutes' walk away. It was clean and she had even provided a dog bed, a water bowl and a ball for our dogs. We would always want to stay with her.

Everything was great: Albert was a great host, and the apartment had everything we wanted: Peace, great amenities, really cozy beds!!! We were very sad that we had to leave again... but would be super happy to come back!

We were very satisfied with the accommodation. Check-in worked very easily directly with Oli as the host. The apartment is very nice, absolutely clean and corresponds to the pictures. It is quietly located in the countryside in Altenkleusheim without traffic noise and the like. On the small terrace you can relax and enjoy a coffee, tea or wine with a view of the garden. The equipment is good, you can find everything you need. The highlight for us was the sauna, which we used on two rainy days of our stay. Afterwards, cuddling up by the fireplace in the living room is already premium🤩. And the surroundings are beautiful. Hiking at the Listertalsperre, at the Biggesee & Co. is fun and ensures pure relaxation and a good mood. Oli as a host was very attentive and always available/responds quickly to messages and also gave us great tips for exploring the area. We would therefore be happy to come back☺️.

Very nice apartment in a beautiful setting. She is very clean and we didn't miss anything for such a stay. Shopping facilities can be reached quickly by car and the opportunities for the children are sufficient. The Spielberg has been the reason for our stay, this is great and if the weather thinks it is necessary, you have swimming pools right nearby.

Quiet and equipped with everything a family with children needs. The owner is friendly and nice.

My granddaughter and I spent Pentecost at the castle and were thrilled. We liked the apartment very much, it was clean and equipped with everything necessary. It is quiet there and sights are nearby. So all in all recommended.
