We had an amazing stay at this peaceful cabin in the nature. The location was incredibly quiet and relaxing — the perfect escape from the city. The hot tub was a dream, especially at night under the stars, and the smoker was top-notch for preparing delicious BBQ. The cabin was spotless and everything was easy to find. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need, including thoughtful extras for BBQ supplies. You can tell the hosts really put care into every detail. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature with all the comforts of home — and then some!

Beautiful and classic wisconsin cabin. We felt right at home. Lots of lore and character to the house. Very clean and lots of thought and care went into making this an ideal place for a family and work get away.

An amazing stay for a bachelorette! So peaceful with the woods surrounding us! Everything was very clean and tidy when we arrived, all of the instructions for amenities were helpful and clear. Host was very responsive and always answered within minutes. A great deal for what you pay!

The place was exactly as pictured. A beautiful location, perfect for relaxing and having fun around the lake. Jacki responded right away when we had a question and the home was perfectly cleaned and ready for us! Would love to go back again!

Blue Pearl was bliss. The moment we arrived we were able to relax, get our suits on, and paddle away. The lake is peaceful and the amenities support the use of it and the overall property. The hot tub was a treat in the evenings and on the rainy day. Becky was friendly and responsive. We will be back!!

Beautiful cabin on the Upper Iowa River. We enjoyed watching the squirrels and ducks around the property. The hot tub was perfect for soaking. The cabin was neat and tidy. We stopped by wings in dorchester for dinner one night. Spring Grove was about 20 minutes away, we recommend going to RockFilter Distillery and Fat Pat’s brewery for the pizza. If you are in Decorah then Mabe’s pizza has a half baked pizza as the cabin is nestled in bluffs away from most options. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway then we strongly recommend staying here.

My husband and I had the most peaceful, relaxing time .The cabin was everything we wanted. clean,quiet and we loved the quiet lake fished and caught a few quite a few sunnies. Saw turtles ... Laura was a wonderful host she knew we came from far away and might not of had rain gear. it rained a couple days and she offered us rain jackets and umbrellas. Her cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed. thank you for sharing your home with us . We will be back

Quiet, restful, a country retreat that was just what we needed. Overlooking a beautiful lake, horses checking us out, great place for the dog to go for a walk (leashed of course, didn’t want the horse and dog to mix it up), Kathryn’s place was charming, cozy and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

I had a wonderful stay at Michael’s Cottage in Wittenberg—it was exactly what I was hoping for and more. The space was *super clean*, peaceful, and made for a relaxing getaway. There was plenty to do in the area, especially if you're into hiking and fishing—tons of beautiful trails and great spots nearby. Michael was incredibly responsive and made the whole experience seamless. You can tell he cares about his guests’ comfort. I’ll definitely be coming back in the future!

From the moment I booked, the owners messaged me and when we got onsite we were welcomed with a beautiful note and local Wisconsin beer! It was a beautiful relaxing weekend!

Lovely private setting. Not overly large but really well equipped and laid out. Nice kitchen with plenty of equipment. Never met the hosts but they were responsive in communication.

What a beautiful view from the picture window! This place was charming and had everything you could need to relax. My host was very accommodating and attentive. She brought a basketful of fresh linens to accommodate my change in guests due to schedules and availability of my family and friends. The pizza place that was recommended was fantastic and they delivered. The place is in a great location, close enough to town but out in the country. The sunsets were enjoyed on the deck:) One morning early while lounging on the couch I saw a beautiful yellow autumn dressed tree and under it’s branches a buck, majestic with his antlers under the tree shaking the bottom branches:) Very peaceful. We also enjoyed siting around the smokeless fire pit. Thank you for sharing your home with us!:)

This place was a true gem. Being right on the river was wonderful. The river was very slow flowing, so it was almost like being on a lake. We took advantage of the fire pit and kayaks. The home was perfect, and was the right size for all five of us. I loved the big picture windows with the two comfy chairs in front, we used those a lot when not outside. I really appreciated the large refrigerator, and the modern washer and dryer.

We spent a few days here with our three kids (ages 8, 5, and 2) and it was the perfect getaway. The property is gorgeous with the lake being shallow and great for littles to swim in. Tina was an exceptional host and even brought our kids some activities to do on the rainy days. We highly recommend this cabin and hope to be back some day!

We loved our stay here! The hosts initially warned us the house may not be the most kid-friendly (we have a 4 yo and 20 mo). However, the house is absolutely magical, the grounds are so beautiful and peaceful, and we had a blast! We’re already planning our next stay :) The grounds felt very sacred and were beautiful to explore. We loved hearing the creek run by and used the fire pit one night to make smores. The front porch is perfect for picnicking and playing instruments in the midst of nature :) We loved the limited access to the outside world (no tv, limited cell service, no WiFi). Our days were spent out and about— Circus World museum was a ton of fun for our family and Devil’s Lake the next day. The house was cozy and such a respite to return to at night. Can’t recommend this place enough! Such a unique stay!

The cottage was beautiful, both inside and out. It was very nicely decorated inside and the gardens outside were very pretty. Our most enjoyable time there was sitting on the screened-in porch listening to all the birds and the babbling river. It was very peaceful. I We would definitely go back.

Was a short stay and really wasn’t at the cabin for any amount of time did what we needed it to do would stay again

Tessa was an amazing host for our long term need. She was always quick to respond when the power went out and when it was snowing for the driveway go be cleared. It was truly a home away from our home. She even asked if we wanted her to load some pictures on her digital picture frame. Thank you again, our family greatly appreciated it!

We had a wonderful stay here! Great amenities, very clean, and the driveway was cleared of overnight snow the next morning! The fireplace and wood were the perfect touch to keep us warm and add to the cozy ambiance. Couldn’t recommend it enough!
