Holiday houses in Witzin

The location of the cottage was wonderful for us. Birds sing their songs and the bathing lake is just a few steps away. The terrace overlooking the lake, especially at dusk, is the highlight. The proximity to the sights in different cities and surroundings is as we imagined. Brick buildings, manor houses and nature are simply worth seeing! Thank you very much, dear Karen

The place was clean and as described located right on the lake. Small but nice is quite accurate here. We booked it to escape from the city to nature with our dog over New Year's Eve, which worked relatively well, but unfortunately the nearby campsite had a big firework display - although not comparable to Berlin, but still sobering - fortunately our dog didn't mind it so much and of course the accommodation can't do anything about it, but that should be considered if you want to book with a dog over New Year's Eve. Otherwise, there was everything we needed for the short time. From the property, you can also take nice walks.

We spent less than a week in this really nice, well appointed and cozy house in Reviews. Communication with David was particularly pleasant, straightforward, and friendly. Everything worked out just fine, even charging the internet volume was not an issue. Magnificent garden with many different sunny and shaded spots, spacious terrace that invites you to linger and barbecue. Only in the morning, the through traffic slightly disturbs the other peace and quiet. Beautiful swimming lakes in the nearby area, good tips from David. With 6 friends, we had a wonderful stay in Groß Upahl. Since we cooked a lot together, we were very grateful for the really perfectly equipped kitchen. Crockery was also available in sufficient quantity for so many people. The decor is very tasteful. We especially enjoyed the fireplace room with the extensive library and music collection. Despite the wet and cold weather, we took some hikes and of course visited Güstrow with its Barlach memorials. Various potters, carpenters and basket weavers are based in Lenzen. A visit is highly recommended.

The accommodation was an oasis of relaxation. Mirko and Andrea are very warm and hard-working hosts, they were always easily accessible and had many recommendations for activities and culinary delights in the area. You always had great conversations with the two of them and you felt welcome at all times. The sauna is pure wellness, as is the small ranch with its particularly beautiful garden, which you have to experience, photos alone hardly give this beautiful spot of earth. Also in the kitchen, bathroom and sleeping area, everything was lovingly furnished and we lacked nothing. We will definitely come back because it was super nice. We were looking for a quiet place to stay over New Year's Eve with our dog and were very enthusiastic about the area and Nicole's beautiful, nostalgic place. Also highly recommended is the nearby hiking area in the nature reserve "Mildnitz Durchbruchtal" (10 minutes by car). The communication with Nicole was always flawless. Also got great tips for exploring the area. A few houses away is a fisherman, bakery. For larger purchases we drove to Sternberg 10 minutes away by car ( Aldi, Netto, Edeka). Although the house on the upper floor is not yet completed, none of the construction work in the house was noticeable. Everything was super clean, 1 bottle of wine greeted us. We also noticed at the provided dog bowls that our dog was also very welcome! Thank you dear Nicole for the beautiful stay.

Uwe and Uta welcomed us very warmly and gave good tips for leisure activities. We felt very comfortable and explored the area by bike. If you like it quiet, you've found the right place. But if you are mobile, there are very nice places in the vicinity that are worth seeing. We liked Wismar best, where you can easily spend a day and still not have seen all the sights. Schwerin Castle is also worth a trip of 43 km, unfortunately we did not have time to visit the other sights in Schwerin. All in all, we liked the stay very much, the right place to slow down!
