Welcome to Scout's Den! A cozy retreat walkable to all of Black Mountain's amazing restaurants and shopping. This adorable garden studio is separate from the main house and has a carport with space for one vehicle. This is truly an escape! With no internet we encourage our guests to enjoy the natural beauty of the mountains and our small town charm. We do have a TV with a Super Nintendo and DVD player if you feel like staying in. We live on the property full time with our family.

Private guest suite is located above our detached carriage house -- tranquil, cozy & clean - ideal for a couple's getaway or a solo retreat. Convenient access (5 miles) to downtown Asheville, 4 miles to the Biltmore Estate and about 1 mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway in a small, quiet neighborhood. Please note: Small coffee/breakfast nook, but no kitchen or cooking appliances.

One Mile To Downtown Asheville, Pet Friendly

Located just one mile north of downtown Asheville. Very safe and walkable neighborhood. Steps away from an urban Greenway for dog walking and bike riding. The cottage is a separate unit with a private entrance. 400 square feet with a bathroom, kitchenette, heart of pine antique floors. We are two miles from the Grove Park Inn and four miles from the Biltmore house. The space is appropriate for two adults or one adult and one child.

Modern Cabin Retreat w/ Sauna

This space was designed with love and care and the hope that all who stay here feel relaxed and connected to nature. We recently added a cedar barrel sauna that heats up quickly and is user friendly. Often we don’t see guests but I’m always available for questions and recommendations. We live "next door" on the same property with our two young sons.
