Extremely spacious. Great for walking/ scenery. Very close to the iconic Square and Compass pub!

We loved Stonechat, its in a village we love with a simple but characterful pub, great coast walks and close to other beautiful places. The cottage itself is characterful with a mix of traditional and more contemporary and very well equipped and comfortable. It was just what we were looking for and we very much enjoyed staying there.

Ian was very informative, responsive and friendly. The cottage is lovely with lots of character and has everything you need for a week away. The bed was so comfortable, genuinely the best one I've ever slept in away from home. The location is perfect for setting off on coastal walks from the doorstep.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was very well equipped, kitchen, bathroom, etc. The spiral stairs have been commented on before, suffice it to say we had no problem, simply taking care is all that’s needed. Parking was not a problem, perhaps we were lucky but we were able to park outside the property every time and there is a village car park nearby if necessary. The location was good, very rural but easy to drive to the various places of interest in the Dorset area.
