Holiday houses in Xanemos

This villa is spectacular. It’s very high up so an exciting 2Km trip up from the main road, steep in places with hair pin bends. Wonderful panoramic views. A lovely restaurant 50 metres away and a taverna 500 metres away. George responds quickly to questions. We would home to return one day. Very much

Our stay in Argo Studio - top floor of Argo Pension - began at their port office of Heliotropio. We received keys and a warm welcome from Dimitris, who highlighted some of the best locations and tavernas to visit during our stay. The walk to Argo Studio was about 750m, the last 100m of which was up some stone steps. Not a problem for us but could be difficult for anyone with limited mobility. The directions we received were accurate, detailed and helpful. The stairs to the studio were manageable, but anyone with multiple bags might need two trips. There is no lift (elevator) up to the studio. The studio was simple, clean and well equipped, providing twin beds, ensuite shower room, ac, TV, refrigerator, kettle and basic utensils. The large private balcony (with sunbeds) gave a great view of the Old Port, near eye level view of landing aircraft and down to the end of the runway. Daphne, the onsite help/cleaner was unobtrusive, friendly and very welcoming. We look forward to returning.

This Fantastic, modern house carved into the hillside with the best views of Skiathos was the perfect holiday for us and our friends. This holiday, for us, was all about R&R, its peaceful, private and quiet with a refreshing pool that is the perfect size for the little ones as it’s not too deep but deep enough for the adults to get a few lengths in! The journey into the town is quite significant if by foot and should only be taken on by experienced walkers, its downhill all the way and quite steep, by car it’s around 10mins, we hired a small 4x4 which was perfect for the supermarket runs and brief trips into town and as a party off 8 we used a minibus service if we wanted to go and eat in the town. This holiday was everything we wanted but be mindful that if you are the type who wants to be around the hustle and bustle of the town everyday, eating and drinking l, then ensure to factor in expenses for transport. Krateria was a lovely, warm and welcoming host. She went out of her way to help us in any way she could and was very kind and thorough throughout our stay. She even went and got a cake for my girlfriend’s birthday when she found out. She has three lovely dogs too. The apartment was spotless and she cleaned and accommodated for anything we asked. Krateria is an amazing host and I would love to stay with her any time

La maison est très agréable et grande avec une vue splendide sur la mer. On s’y sent bien, comme à la maison. Rozana est toujours disponible en cas de besoin. Dimitrios et Rozana nous ont accueilli à notre arrivée que nous avons pu avancer. Merci à eux pour leur gentillesse. C est un peu à l’écart de la ville donc il faut une voiture. L aéroport est proche mais absolument pas dérangeant. Je recommande vivement ce logement si vous apprécié la tranquillité.

George is an amazing host and we really enjoyed staying in the caravan! The beach 15 minutes away is beautiful and the caravan itself was spacious and an enjoyable stay. Everything worked great! Would not recommend using the oven in the heat as it can take a little while for the caravan to cool again. So many beautiful and friendly half a mile up the road which was great! George picked us up from the airport and dropped us back to the town at the end of our trip in Skiathos as we went to another island. When we landed in Skiathos, he introduced us to his friend in car/bike rental(€20/25 per day for bike) and took us to a supermarket which we were very grateful for. George was very quick to respond on his phone whenever we needed his assistance. We will definitely return!

We had a really enjoyable stay as a family of four at George’s Villa. We have a three year-old and an eight-year-old who shared the bedroom downstairs we stayed in the bedroom opposite. The only thing to mention is that the staircase down to the bottom floor is a bit precarious, without handrails. There is a safety gate to prevent kids going down there, so was not a problem for us. There is another double bedroom on the top floor. The views from the Villa are incredible it is a very private and peaceful location. There is another villa available next door but there was no one staying when we were there. Car 100% required. Less than 10 min drive to Skiathos town and airport (you can actually see the runway from the villa garden in the distance!)

Wir hatten eine super Zeit in Glossa. Diese Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sind ein Privileg! Die Zufahrt erfolgt über eine schmale, unbefestigte, ausgewaschene und abfallende Strasse. Dazu braucht es allerdings kein 4WD Fahrzeug. Jedoch etwas Fahrgeschick. Jederzeit hat uns die Hausverantwortliche unterstützt wenn dann überhaupt Fragen aufgetaucht sind. Es fehlte an nichts! Wenn man einen kleinen Mangel suchen möchte, dann ist es vielleicht die etwas verkalkten Duschköpfe..., also kaum der rede wert. Alles in allem genossen wir die Tage wie im Pardies.. Wenn wir wieder nach Skopelos reisen würden, dann wäre diese Haus an erster Stelle.
