Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Yamanakako, Minamitsuru District

Fairly secluded but it gives a serene experience of staying in a local area in someone's own house. Fumio-san was very responsive and helpful. Of course the weather is unpredictable but we had one day of clear sky to view magnificent Mt Fuji.

I participated in a road bike race at Fuji Hill and stayed overnight.Both the room and the bath were very clean and comfortable, and Motoi's service was very polite, and I had a comfortable stay.I would love to stay again next year. It is about 20 minutes by car to Fujiyoshida City, so it is a recommended accommodation for those sightseeing at Mt. Fuji.Thank you for providing a nice room. We had an amazing stay at Aya’s place in Fujikawaguchiko! The apartment was clean, spacious, and had a stunning view of Mount Fuji right from the window. Renting bikes made it super easy to explore the area while enjoying a quieter, less touristy vibe. Restaurants and amenities were still very accessible. 10/10 — would absolutely stay again and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Thanks for your hospitality for 3 days. I was completely refreshed. It was my first time using airbnb and it was really nice to come. I personally admired the details of the equipment, as well as the facilities such as the barbecue, sauna, and location. Cushioned sofas, sleeping bags, couch chairs, and plenty of sandals. It was a small thing, but these made me enjoy it without stress. Thank you again for everything.

Two families stayed. It was an immediate decision because it was an inn with a sauna and a hot spring. Located in a quiet villa area, The road is located in a villa area with narrow roads, so you will not feel the inconvenience of the car. The host was also able to respond to inquiries immediately, and the inn manual that we had received in advance had a polite explanation with photos, so we had no problems. Here are some of my worries. The light switch in the washroom was the same color as the wall, making it difficult to find.In addition, the lighting for the sauna's water bath was in the entrance, and it took a while to find it. I thought it would be nice to have a few more types of dishes. There are two refrigerators, but one is inside the door and it was difficult to see. It took a while to ignite because the firewood was tightly packed. However, even with the above, I am very satisfied! The dryer is a Kan-Tan-Kun, the sauna is hot, the futon has a mattress, the projector speakers are high-quality, there are plenty of amenities and towels, it's quiet and has good access, there's nothing to say!I would like to revisit just for this reason! This was such a good stay. Very clean space that was enjoyable for rainy days. Great views of Fuji and walkable to several train stations. Naoki is a kind host, very responsive and flexible with us.

The host was so lovely and gracious from the moment we booked to the very end of our stay. She is an amazing host and the house was simply the best air bnb we have stayed in Japan hands down. This was the best air bnb we've ever stayed in. Not only in Japan, but anywhere in the world. Completely remodeled, spacious, great location, but the absolute best part is the Host. Shoko goes way above and beyond. She surprised us with local treats several times and was extremely fast when responding to any question. She was also extremely proactive and gave us answers to questions before we even asked. She truly cares about her guests. She helped figure out my bus route to Kyoto and even took us to the bus station. This is as good an air bnb experience can be. Wish we had stayed longer.

We loved staying here so much we paid an extra day so we could stay longer. The hosts are such grateful people! They saw my son, daughter and I walking on the street and insisted that we join them for some traditional Japanese tea. I thoroughly enjoyed walking up and down all of the nearby streets and exploring the entire surroundings. We ate a different restaurant for every meal and never needed to walk more than 1/2 Kilometer. We are already planning another trip to visit during the months that we can hike Mt Fuji. The mountain opens on July 1, so we didn't get to experience that, but it gives us a great excuse to come back and see our great hosts again!

Everything was just as described, the place was nicely located away from the hustle but still convenient to get around to explore Tokyo and other areas. The apartment was comfortable for 2 people and equipped with everything you need. Hirohiko and his wife were friendly and helpful and always responded promptly to all our messages. They even gave us a little gift when we left. Highly recommended, thank you! 🙏

Spacious, with easy access to a few bus stops. It’s also within walkable distance of other local landmarks.

Great place to stay right next to the train station. Beautiful views of Fuji right out the window. Many shops, cafes, restaurants, and points of interest within a few minutes walk. Stayed for two nights with my family and we had no issues at all. Don’t miss the Forest Music Museum!

We had a great time here. The apartment is small but has extra table and chair, so we lived comfortably here for 2 weeks. The free bicycles were game changing and allowed us to enjoy the city and the surroundings freely, we really loved to explore Numazu by bike. If we go back to Numazu, we would love to stay here again.

Yoshi's place is cozy and comfort. He provided complete amenities. The apartment is clean and tidy. Washing machine and dryer are easy to use. Easy check-in and out. During the night time, the surrounding is so peaceful, we got great rest and sleep during our stays. Definitely will book again if we are going to Fujisan in future. Oh, If you are staying at Yoshi's place, I would recommend an Izakaya named "揺蕩〜yurari〜" with 4 minutes walking distance. The lady boss and staffs of the Izakaya are friendly.

It was a dream-like inn where you can rent a movie theater and watch your favorite movies and dramas on the screen as much as you like. It was good to be in a convenient location right next to Gotemba Station.

Some people run their Airbnb just as a business, but it's clear that Yudike and Asami have a genuine passion for hospitality and meeting new people. One glance at the adorable guestbook lets you know the level of care and consideration that they put into every aspect of their property. We stayed as a family with one child, and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. Odawara is a wonderful, vibrant, and entirely friendly city that is bound to blow up in tourism over the next few years. Everything is four minutes away -- the station, Don Quijote, Daiso, dinner options, family breakfast chains, a bus to Yunessun. I will definitely be back, and hopefully able to stay at this exact same spot.

My stay was very nice and cozy though the condo building felt quiet. Rei has great taste in design and furnishing to make her guests feel at home. Recommend to drive here so that you could explore around freely.

Stayed for three days and it was tiring to climb. Overall was good!

Yoko’s place is great for couples and small families. We brought our dog and he loves the place too. Her place is convenient placed near some famous Hakone spots, making it easy to navigate around town.

Lovely place to stay near Odawara station, quiet, clean and spacious! which is quite rare to find in Japan. Walkable from the station, convenice store right in front of it. I would recommend to other guests. Thank you

Three generations and five of us stayed.The staff were friendly, flexible, thoughtful, but not overly sophisticated balance, and both elderly parents and children were very relaxed and enjoyed from the beginning.There are two rooms on the second floor, up the stairs from the first floor where the restaurant and cafe are located.The room was spacious, simple and modern, and the bedding and amenities felt comfortable to use and considerate of the environment.The room had a full glass ocean view, and on the balcony, we had a relaxing and luxurious time lying on the sofa while listening to the night breeze, the sound of insects, and the sound of the sea.The area around the kitchen is necessary and well-maintained, so you can bring ingredients and condiments to cook.You may also be able to borrow knives.At night on the sandy beach, you can take a quiet walk in the morning, and the water bus comes out in front of you, and the center of Shimizu is also just a short walk away.The restaurant on the ground floor also had a good atmosphere, and Marine Sports seemed to be fun.I'd love to stay next time.
