I definetely recommend this place for everyone who plans to visit Fuji! It takes 17 minutes from kawaguchiko station by walk. K's house super clean, the receptionist are very friendly and helpful. The lounge is also cozy and very clean! You can enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji while sitting in the lounge too🫶🏻

It was a bit confusing finding the place since the entrance was covered but when we finally found it, we realized it was just in front of the famous Honcho Street!!! It was the perfect location as it was close to the Shimoyoshida station and the Pagoda view of Mt.Fuji. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! The vibe is so unique! 100/100! Clean space especially the shower and bath rooms.

An absolute extraordinary stay which may remain unmatched. Kakurinbo Buddhist Temple is a customary style so if you want the true essences, this is your stay. The benefits of this location is worth every means of transportation to get here. (I recommend a cab to the front door, due to the incline, heavy luggage or after dark hours.) It offers miles of trees, wild life, stars and untainted air. The meals are thoughtfully prepared with organic and authentic ingredients. Every staff coordination is served with precision: baths, transportation, yoga and evening entertainment. The cleanliness is impeccable throughout each and every day, the simplicity of this living will have you returning home to declutter your life. Last but not least, the Kuonji Temple is magical, soul cleansing, breathtaking. Your stay here is only steps away from a life changing experience. I highly recommend this for solo women travelers, it’s the most safest, peaceful and rewarding grid I’ve found. Thank you SHU! ?

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hosts are really nice and friendly :-) We faced a situation where we misplaced our keys but the host was really nice about it and offered a different room (for safety reasons) almost immediately after we told her 😊 The kitchen has all the appliances such as kettles, plates, cutlery and a fridge! There are two shower and two toilet cubicles on each level - shampoo and body soap are provided. The lounge area was also very comfortable to hang around. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely stay here again if we ever come back to mt fuji!

The place is just incredible. Soo calm, inside the nature, traditional japanese rooms and breakfast and the onsen is magnificent.

オーナーの方はとても親切で柔軟に対応してくださいました。お風呂は大きくは無かったものの、とても趣きのある作りの天然温泉があり、とてもくつろげました。 また機会があればぜひ利用したい宿泊先です。

If you are concerned about the lack of reviews like I was before then theres no need to worry! This hotel room was the best airbnb I’ve been at before. However, would only recommend if you have a car. The room was brand new. Complimentary wine bottle, beers and snacks. Spacious, luxurious and modern. Warm foot bath on the balcony with a view (not breathtaking but a view nonetheless). Massive bath and toilet, with hotspring bath with adjustable water heat. And a sauna (although we didnt get to use)! Free parking with plenty of spaces. Self-check in easily. Only regret was not spending more time there. Although it is on the more expensive side being a hotel, definitely worth it to wind down from the hustle and bustle of the city.

We really like the place. It was cosy, clean, and most importantly — we woke up with very clear, beautiful view of Mt Fuji. On top of that, the room is spacious. Our daughter really likes the place too; it gives her more space to go around than any other accommodation in Japan.

Una ubicación maravillosa con vistas al monte fuji desde habitaciones. Además tienen una terraza para que puedas disfrutar de desayuno/comida súper guay! Alquilamos unas bicis eléctricas en el airbnb y nos recorrimos todo el lago un par de veces. Súper top!

We had an amazing experience here! The view of Mt Fuji is just amazing. Very peaceful and and we loved having the common space with coffee and tea available. Very relaxing. The bath was also so amazing. I wasn’t feeling all that great from allergies when getting there but the bath helped me relax and feel so much better! Our host was very kind and accommodating. He helped us with everything — setting up the time for the bath, setting up a taxi, answering all our questions, and helping us with our very heavy luggage! Highly recommend. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!
