Farmstay holiday rentals in Yamhill County

I came to explore the wine country but ended up hanging out on the beautiful property and enjoying the animals. This isn’t a city slick rental - it’s cozy (omg the bed, you won’t ever want to get out of it) and low key and has the most amazing countryside view. I’ll be back for sure.

Carrie's place was absolutely lovely. Hanging out with Bailey their St. Bernard was an added treat that we all enjoyed. The property is stunning, tranquil and peaceful. The beds were very comfortable and the unit was sparkling clean. Would have loved to stay longer and will definitely return if I am in the area again. Easy check in and easy to find. Carrie was a pleasure to communicate with.

The view!!!! Truly spectacular and more magnificent and stunning than the pictures. We took advantage of Cynthia’s recommendation and hired Chef Ian who spoiled us with an amazing dinner and selection of wines for my husband’s 60th birthday dinner that included our two adult children and their significant others. The six of us all stayed at the home together for the vacation and it was perfect. The house is a short drive into town where we enjoyed great takeout from Social Goods one night and another evening had a yummy dinner at Rosmarino, meeting the warm and welcoming owner. Chef Ian put us in touch with his friend Aaron who drove us to three different wineries on Saturday and he even picked up our preordered lunch. Aaron was so kind and funny and born and raised there so had great tips and information to share. My husband and I are huge runners and found some good areas to run within a short drive from the house. All in all, a top ten place and wonderfully responsive host!

Ranee is so wonderful, and accommodating, she gave great tips for the surrounding area, as well as produce from their beautiful farm! The house is very charming, and in such a great location to so many fun things.

This is the second time we've stayed at Shelley's place and it was just as good the second time around. While there are a lot of posted rules and guidelines around the house, they have obviously helped keep her home immaculate for guests. She communicates incredibly well and is more than accommodating to any special needs or requests. She invited my group to come up a night early due to her previous renters checking out early and offered us a check-out at any time of the day, not rushing us out at all. The pool and view are unmatched and I highly recommend this location to others. If we're in need of a rental in Sherwood again, Shelley's place will be our first choice.

We had an amazing stay at Harry’s Cabin. What a gem of a location. The hills, valleys and forest were so beautiful. We hiked all the trails and saw wild turkeys and elk along the way. We appreciated the trail map at the cabin. It was so nice to see stars at night. Very peaceful. The location is perfect for sightseeing in and around the McMinnville area. We would definitely stay here again!

This was one of the most relaxing places I have ever stayed. The apartment itself has all the comforts of home. It was quiet, the temperature with the windows open on both ends was perfect and I knew I had the option of air conditioning or heating. Coffee on the back porch overlooking the beautiful backyard was heaven each morning. The goats were great entertainment and I even got to see a hot air balloon dip down to the river one morning! It's close enough to town to get dinner or supplies but feels like it's out in the middle of the countryside. I can't wait to come back and spend more time here!

Nice place. A bit on the edge of wine country, but nice. Bring earplugs, as rain is loud on the roof. Also, as you are in the woods, there are bugs. Wifi could be faster and a new apple tv/tv speaker would be great. Overall, nice place and great value.

A perfect place to enjoy the simplicity of Oregon. Lots of space to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Many fun memories were made here with the kids.

We had a fantastic weekend at Kurtis' place. We truly took advantage of everything the Airbnb had to offer and slept wonderfully in our peaceful surroundings. Special shoutout for how responsive and proactive he was. Cannot recommend an Airbnb more for a visit to Oregon Wine Country!

Had a wonderful time! Away from the city but still close enough if you want to go into the city. Host was super friendly and responsive even after hours.

Traveling with the girls for a Wine Country weekend! What a fabulous home, stunning views, every amenity you could need, pristine inside and outside- a truly amazing place! We wanted for nothing! Bedding amazing, kitchen a dream, spotless rooms! Easy directions, a lil off the beaten path, which allowed for the stunning views, a few goats frolicking in the distance at a neighbors farm, ginormous evergreens surrounding and a beautiful deck to sit and relax on after touring all day! You will not be disappointed, we certainly were not! Thanks again for being a part of a lovely Birthday weekend!

This location is ideal if you are looking for a peaceful and luxurious get away. The house is clean and modern and the hot tub was so relaxing. We would love to come back again!

Great tranquil place in beautiful surroundings! Loved how child friendly it was with plenty of toys and a private playground! Would def recommend!

Beautiful place, bed was super comfy and the apartment is spacious and very thoughtfully decorated. We enjoyed having A/C and patting the friendly horses. Great location for wineries and McMinnville. Did not get to meet Kristy, but she was great over messages. Thank you for hosting us!

An absolute gem surrounded by fields and nature. Our family came out for Oregon State University graduation. All ages were able to enjoy the wonderful location, home amenities, wildlife, dogs, and the resident farm animals. Petey the donkey was our absolute favorite. When we left on the last morning, he shared a number of hee-haws as if to say goodbye. Great hosts!

Aida’s property is beautiful. We had a wonderful relaxing vacation. The basement rec room was utilized by our older children, my husband and I; helping to make a wonderful family vacation. The house was spotless and very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. Next time we come to Oregon. Thanks for being such a amazing host.

My family stayed at John's while in Oregon for college graduation at OSU. Perfect fit for our family. Gorgeous, countryside location but so close to charming Mcminnville shops, restaurants, and wineries. Very well appointed home. We especially enjoyed the updated bathroom with great lighting and built in speakers; a great treat for our adult children that love music. Lovely property walk after a great dinner and host provided wine. Only regret is we didn't have more time to enjoy the deck, firepit, games, and local tasting rooms. We'll have to book a return trip. This was our second time staying Anne’s home. It was just as we remembered it. Beautiful, calming place situated in the heart of the Oregon wine country.

Enjoyed the quiet relaxing place with the fire pit. My Granddaughter luved feeding the sheep and the kitty was such a great greater in the mornings. We really enjoyed our stay

Absolutely loved our stay at Hex Odyssey! The house was stunning and equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, making our arrival and departure a breeze. Our host, Lance, provided incredibly clear instructions, which made navigating the property easy. What truly made our experience special was Lance's hospitality. He was not only friendly but also incredibly responsive to any questions we had. We were pleasantly surprised to find a welcome basket and a bottle of Argyle sparkling wine waiting for us, which added a lovely touch to our stay. It was evident that he genuinely cared about ensuring we had a wonderful time. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Hex Odyssey to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!
