Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Yangju-si

Host was helpful with prompt responses, and gave clear instructions for the checkin. Love the portable TV as well! Wanted to use the lovely attic for reading but it was a little hot up there, would have been perfect if there is airconditioning in the attic too! Note that the bathroom is not directly connected to the room, but that seems to be how the old style houses generally are. It was a unique experience though, love that the hot tub was spacious and even had a skylight! Room was comfortable and cozy :)

In addition to the modern and sensuous appearance, the clean bathroom, toilet, and clean hygiene were so nice. The barbecue area was spacious and there were no bugs, so we had a good time outdoors. 6 adults stayed and rested very pleasantly. It was possible to bring a dog, and there was a spacious yard, so I let it run around, so it was an accommodation that suited each need. ^^ I only knew it as Gapyeong Yangpyeong every time, but when I first came to Dongdu Village, it was quiet and cozy, so it was perfect for resting.

It was an absolute joy to stay in this lovely home, the house is beautiful and the location is great. We loved the quiet neighbourhood and it was so easy to get everywhere. I recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic and comfortable stay in Seoul, I will be recommending to everyone I know visiting Seoul.

It was nice to have a clean and quiet accommodation and things to enjoy around, such as Gongneung Market. I especially liked the Gyeongchun Line Railway Trail. I stayed well for 3 days in a well-organized and neat accommodation. I plan to visit again at the end of the year.

Children's Day holiday is too long, so I thought I would spend all the time on the road to go far away, and the accommodation cost was too burdensome. I chose it because I wanted to rest somewhere close to home, and I think it was a good choice. It was a pity that I couldn't have a barbecue because my husband couldn't come with me because of work, but the kids were able to run around, play catch, hide and seek, and plant various seedlings. We also took a short walk on the upper road and met frogs, snails, and toads. The tableware was stainless steel in a clean condition, so it was good to use, the toilet hygiene was good, and there were many board games, so I was able to play with the kids often. I ate early in the evening and was hungry, so I ordered chicken delivery. When I slept, I turned the mat to a low temperature and slept, but it was just right. The bedding was also in good sanitary condition. I think the first one, who was curious, may have been uncomfortable because he looked around everywhere. I was so grateful that you spoke to the children in a friendly manner and let them experience the seed prayer that they could not do in their daily lives. I would love to join the harvest when I get the chance.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in June 2025. If you are looking for a truly unique, peaceful but modern hanok experience in Seoul, you must come and stay here. Each and every furniture and amenity has been curated and carefully thought of. The local recommendations and little details provided were spot on. Our host Jee and her husband has made a space to come and and unwind any stress in a truly beautiful setting and in a neighbourhood away from the typical “tourist” areas of Seoul. This is genuine modern hanok experience - highly recommended for the discerning couple.

It was much cleaner than the photos, and it was the best accommodation with a peaceful atmosphere that wasn't captured in the photos. I've been to a lot of places, but I think this is the most satisfying and memorable place I've ever been to. I checked in at 3 pm and took a family photo at a time when the sun was shining. The photos taken at the accommodation were as if they were taken in a studio, the sunlight was beautiful, and the interior was really neat. (I was more satisfied than when I took it in the studio) After putting the baby to sleep, we were able to fully enjoy our time together. From 7 o'clock, I enjoyed a foot bath in the yard while watching the sunset, grilled meat in the greenhouse, and after the sun went down, I was warmly watching the fireworks, and before I knew it, it was 10 o'clock at night. When I entered the room, I turned on the TV for the first time in a while and played air games. There was a lot of content to enjoy. I was able to fill my family's space with happy memories without even noticing the time. It was the first trip for my baby, who was less than 100 days old, so I was worried about choosing a place to stay, but I think I made a really good choice. A topper mattress was also prepared for the baby, and blackout curtains were installed, so the baby was able to sleep comfortably without any worries. I'm already recommending it to people around me, and I definitely want to come back next time!🥰👏🏻

i recommend Maria as a host, her place is a little nest of tranquility, a real cocoon in a building where we were really safe located in a neighborhood where I loved living during these 3 months, I felt at home there. if we need help she is always available to help solve it.

I use it whenever I have work in Samsong, and it's always comfortable.

Host was very responsive, the location of the place is amazing and close to a lot of cool shops and restaurants. The place came stocked with everything you might need for a short stay in a new city (dishes, laundry soap, etc). Highly recommend!

perfect stay, perfect host :)

Arrived at this Air B&B on 1 April 2025, we stayed until 31 May 2025. As a retired military servicemember, this location was perfect for us. Close to the back gate of Camp Hovey; Army shuttle bus to the Camp Casey USAG and easy access to Dongducheon. Bus ride into Dongducheon was 1400 won. We truly loved staying here. The owner is a great host. Quite area, fresh air; this location was absolutely amazingly awesome for us. Our Korean relatives live in Uijeogbu and Seoul so they didn't have far to drive to see us, pick us up or just visit. Highly recommend this host and this Air B&B.

This place is Very convenient! There’s a lot of local restaurants and cafés nearby. Also the Subway is just down the street.

Fun stay in an interesting neighbourhood! The place was extremely clean and very comfortable. The host was very friendly and answered all questions quickly. Things were generally as-expected and the experience was seamless and enjoyable. The floating bed was a unique touch and we enjoyed it, but those who are especially tall or have limited mobility might find it a challenge to get in and out of.

Lovely apartment in the heart of Nowon near the station! It was so clean and had everything we needed. It was really nice and felt like home!

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It’s very close to Namsan Tower — we took the bus up and walked down, which was a great experience. You can also easily walk to Myeongdong, which is super convenient, and Seoul Station is just nearby. The apartment itself is great, and the host was kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. Highly recommend this place! If I come back to Seoul, I’ll definitely try to stay here again if it’s available.

We enjoyed our stay here! Location was pretty close to good restaurants and shopping in Hongdae/Hongik Station area. The host let us know that the room was ready for check in earlier than the expected time and it was very convenient that they had an area for secured luggage storage. The air conditioner worked great and bed was very comfortable! Only issue we had was figuring out how to get warm water for a shower but would stay again!

It was a very pleasant stay, very close to Hongdae, I think Hongdae is the best place to visit, and the homestay is very close to the subway station bus station, so it is very convenient to stay here.The homestay is very cozy and feels very homey. The room is not the same as a normal homestay. There are kitchen utensils, washing machine, dryer, laundry detergent, and even curling hair sticks. It is super friendly to girls, and the surrounding environment is very quiet. At night, you don't have to worry about being noisy.The host is also huge and responsive.It's very hard to walk around, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I come.

Great space. Just enough for one person. I think two people would feel cramped. The space is smaller than in the pictures. I like how she decorated the place. It added more warmth to the room. I enjoyed chilling with the warm lighting and under the covers at night. It felt cosy and like home. Host is kind and allowed an early check in, with specific instructions on how to get to her place. She also recommended me places to visit nearby and responded quickly whenever I asked her questions. I’m a solo female traveler so I felt safe because there’s two passcodes to enter the building, unlock the door and a small lift. Cons: There is a steep slope you have to climb before reaching the Airbnb. So pushing luggage up & down is a hassle. The toilet is also really small. It takes about an hour if you want to go to myeongdong/gangnam/dongdaemun. But the airbnb is closer to the airport and highly accessible via bus/train. Overall, great deal for the price! You get what you pay for!

I can't say that the price is cheap, but it's right in front of the opposition party station, so the infrastructure is good, clean and comfortable.
