Nestled at the head of Pigeon Hill Bay, our cottage is surrounded by 20 acres of fields, marshland, private walking paths, and a private pebble beach on the ocean with views of the Atlantic. Acadia National Park is nearby (1 hour plus) or take the ferry (20 minutes away) to BarHarbor. Acadia Park Schoodic Point is a must see (20 minutes). Enjoy our kayaks, our recommended day trips, blueberry picking, visiting white-tailed deer. For a full week stay we serve a lobster shore dinner for two.

Relax in a country comfortable atmosphere and savor the magnificent view of the ocean from your spacious living room. Your deck has a magnificent view of the ocean that has the highest tides in the world and comes complete with Adirondack chairs and a dining area allowing you to sit back and enjoy the fresh salt air and the magnificent view. This cottages is also wheelchair accessible. Their are two other cottages on the property. Our Nautical theme cottage and our Contemporary themed cottage.

The Cottage

A rustic cottage in the middle of Darthia Farm. The farm sits along the shore of West Bay and a short walking trail brings you from the cottage to the salt water. We grow organic mixed vegetables, herbs and flowers, raise sheep, ducks, chickens, pigs, and work with Haflinger horses. We have a farm store that is open everyday except Tuesdays and Sundays. The property is 15 minutes away from the Schoodic Section of Acadia and is surronded is by countless hiking trails and access to fresh water.

Salmonwood Cottage is a two bedroom, one bathroom, rental nestled along the shore of Salmon Lake in Yarmouth County. You can enjoy all nature has to offer while benefiting from the comforts of modern living. We are currently building on/renovating to add a larger living room, fireplace and an additional bedroom. I have the dates starting on September open for bookings. No cleaning fee!! The location says Tusket, it’s Quinan on Lake Kegeshook. The cottage is a farmhouse style with all white walls. Large windows and high ceilings allowing for great light.. The cottage is remote, quiet and perfect for relaxing. The cottage is a 20 mins drive in from the Tusket exit and 35 minutes to Yarmouth
