Beachfront holiday rental in Yates County

Loved our stay! Sleeping in the boathouse is totally worth the stairs to the main cottage. You can feel and see the family history in the main cottage. Elfi is a great host and we got exactly what she described. will totally stay again when in the area.

This place was beautiful! Unfortunately our weather for late May was chilly which is uncommon, so we will be returning when the weather is much nicer!

We enjoyed Memorial Day weekend 2025 with our 3 daughters (20, 23, & 25). The weather wasn’t very cooperative for lake fun until the last day but Charles let us stay into the afternoon so that we could enjoy the lake a bit. During the weekend he had great recommendations as well. The house was very comfortable and we made great family memories cooking, playing games, watching tv and listening to music.

Cottage number 2.: The cottages are located within a very nice campground on Seneca Lake. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and delivered firewood.The Cottage has a private lakefront with a dock which is separate from the campground. The water is clear and shallow. I would recommend bringing supportive shoes to walk up and down the staircase to the lake. The location is absolutely amazing. It is in the middle of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail. There is lots to do nearby such as child and dog friendly wineries , breweries and an impressive creamery. The campsite cottage is actually off of a road to an interesting winery on the lake. It was full of historical information- they engaged my 10 yr old by asking him questions about the home and what he noticed- pointing out facts such as the tax on windows in the 1800’s. Bring all of your creature comforts from home. Jared is wonderful and responsive. We planned accordingly from reviews- didn’t have any leash law issues. Close to state parks

We loved being directly on the water. The lake is steps from the house. A real treat was hearing the loons on the water which was magical. As others have mentioned it was a little tricky to find, but it didn’t take us long to figure it out. This stay was two active couples in our mid-sixties and we had no issues navigating the steps down to the cabin. We were quite comfortable throughout our stay. Thank you for hosting us.

When we arrived at the cottage, we felt right at home, I think even our dog felt the same way. Everything was so clean with no clutter. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Wish the weather was a bit warmer to enjoy the porch, but the wall of windows helped a lot to be able to view the lake and all the sunrises. I can't say enough for Jennifer. She even texted us to have a safe trip there and was always available to answer any questions we had. She is amazing. Would love to plan another stay at her cottage, and maybe we will be able to soon. Thank you, again, for sharing your cottage with us.

Stayed here with some friends on a golf trip. Loved how private the place was. After golf we really just hung out by the lake with some drinks, grilling and playing food. Great place to just kick back and relax.

We enjoyed our week at Kristian's cozy house even though the weather was a bit wild. The house is comfortable and spacious- we really appreciated the second living room downstairs for the kids. We love to cook and found the kitchen to have all of the items we needed. The location is a great base from which to explore Keuka lake, and our host was very responsive to our questions. The dock did not have cleats to tie up our boat, but we were able to do so using other portions of the dock structure. I'd stay here again!

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. Perfect location - just a short drive to Geneva, Watkins Glen, Penn Yan and Seneca Falls. Lots of breweries and wineries and great restaurants! The cottage was well furnished and spacious. Large refrigerator and brand new stove. We loved the bed! I am a soft bed fan and most places have hard mattresses. Our grand daughter loved the kayak. We enjoyed cooking dinners on the gas grill and relaxing by the fire after dark. There was almost no other neighbors there for our stay so it was quiet and peaceful most of the time. We DID hear the Naval Research station down the road early in the morning but that didn’t last long. Very nice dock. I enjoyed sitting out there in the mornings with a cup of tea/coffee. Bathroom/shower is tiny and a bit cramped but I understand you have to deal with the architecture of what you have All in all we loved it would stay here again!

The location is fantastic and Brian is incredibly helpful and responsive. My stay was absolutely wonderful.

The cottage was perfect for what my wife and I were looking for. It is right on the beautiful Seneca Lake and within a close proximity to various wineries. Check in could not have been easier and the place was super clean. We would absolutely stay here again.

This three bedroom cabin on the lake was perfect for our family of six. We stayed 3 nights and absolutely loved it. The view from the lovely back porch is stunning and even though it rained during much of our stay, we enjoyed sitting out there and birdwatching. The main bedroom has one of the most comfortable King sized beds I've found in an Airbnb, and the living room/dining room/kitchen on the first floor were all spacious and clean. Downstairs are two more comfy bedrooms, a pool table and another small porch. Most basic needs are provided, you just need to bring coffee to make in the morning as the place is in a secluded area. Watkins Glen is about a 15 min drive and there are several good restaurants as well as a beautiful state park there. For breakfast, you can't beat The Blackberry Inn Kitchen which has amazing bagels. I'd highly recommend a stay at this upscale cabin in a peaceful lake setting.

Had a great stay here on a long weekend. House was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Loved that there were plenty of extra towels and blankets. Sitting on the dock was very relaxing and we saw an eagle a couple of times. We even used the kayaks to paddle up to a local wine cellars dock. Close to Watkins glen for hiking and plenty of wineries nearby. Our host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend staying here!

Such a wonderful weekend stay! The house is very spacious for multiple guests and has a very well stocked kitchen! The house has a lake house feel with some Disney charm ! Beach is approximately a 15 min walk away but it was nice having a private beach area.

We had a great stay here! David was easy to communicate with and very helpful. The place was beautiful and very well taken care of. The lake front location was beautiful! The photos don't do it justice. We all really enoyed sitting on the porch and the dock enjoying the spectacular views! The home was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Hope to go back again!

Lovely home in a beautiful location directly on the lake in the middle of the western side of the wine trail. Stunning lake views. Well equipped home with many fun extras. Very clean, with comfortable beds and quality linens. Wonderful, helpful, responsive host.

The house was absolutely beautiful with an even more beautiful view, the kayaks and paddle boards were easily accessible and were a ton of fun on the lake, Mary was a great host. We had some weather related incidents and she responded within minutes. The only negative thing I could say is, we should’ve booked it for longer, we didn’t want to leave. It was very fun weekend!

Location was perfect. Lots to do in the area. View of the lake while on the dock was awesome. Everything was perfect! Will definitely stay there again.

Kelly was great to communicate with and very responsive with any questions. House was very nice. Went for 3 nights to catch up with friends. The large deck with fire pit was great to eat outside then sit around the fire pit and catch up. The location was convenient to restaurants, several wineries and more. Would go back again!

This was the second time we stayed at Kevin and Anu’s property and it did not disappoint once again! The house is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities that you could possibly need. Both porches are just wonderful to sit out on and enjoy the outdoors! Our family took out the two kayaks and paddle board which is an awesome advantage to renting this home. It’s spacious and exactly as described. I’d highly recommend staying here!

This is our third stay at Danielle's charming lake cottage and we love it! Danielle's communication is excellent and she is extremely responsive. We never had to wonder about anything, she has all the information you need typed up and waiting on the table for you. This home is beautiful and spotless. The kitchen is well stocked, we cooked breakfast and dinner easily. We kayaked each morning and evening with the three kayaks on the property. We had fun afternoons sitting in adirondack chairs on the dock with a glass of wine and a cheese/fruit plate. Keuka park neighborhood is lovely and quiet, great for walks through Keuka College campus. We ended our night with a campfire in the backyard in bright red adirondacks chairs! We will definitely come back and you should too!
