The cycling enthusiast will find Kisa MTB Park (formerly alpine 12-man hill) after a 30-minute drive. Winter time Asby alpine hill with three descents just 10 minutes away by car. Enjoy the silence mixed with a rich wildlife.

Inside the beautiful forest

You will find our cozy farmhouse, which is located between Kisa and Österbymo in Östergötland. If you like peace and quiet and also appreciate being close to forests, nature and lakes, then this accommodation is something for you. Experience the birdsong, hike on the adjacent hiking trail or just go straight out into the forest and pick berries and mushrooms, the choice is yours. The house is high, so you can see the sun from morning till night. About 300 meters from the house, there is a pond, where you can swim, fish or just row with the rowing boat.

Rönnäsgården at Vindens Ängar.

Rönnäsgården was built around the 18th century and is perched high on Asby cape with beautiful views over the lake Sommen and the one from the wise famous "Angels of Wind" as Mats Paulson wrote his song about. Here you get about 350 sqm of living space, large living spaces. (At more than 10 people you can rent to our red wing. Max number is 14 people in both houses.) Down to our small harbor with the very child-friendly swimming area it is about 300 meters. On Fridays, the steamer Boxholm II arrives at the pier/shopping trip to Tranås market.

You can book a ride or class on the riding track, no prior knowledge is needed, everything is done slowly. Hire your own horse and explore the borderland between Östergötland and Småland. On the farm there are dogs and cats who want to be patted. 30 miles to Astrid Lindgren's world, close to all sights of the outside.
