Tosi hyvä paikka ja lapset tykkäsi. Oltiin 7 hengen perheellä ja sovittiin oikein mukavasti. Hyvät sängyt ja erinomainen keittiö! 😊

Rauhallinen majoituspaikka.Ulko-saunassa oli mahtavat löylyt.Mielellään tulee uudelleenkin.

Mummolaa muistuttava siisti asunto rauhallisessa ympäristössä. Sopii hyvin isommallekin porukalle.

Wir danken Matti und Marita für die schöne Zeit im Haus und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Es war total erholsam und wir haben uns von der 1. Sekunde an zu Hause gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und warm, perfekt sauber und das Badezimmer war neu renoviert mit Füßbodenheizung und allem, was es angenehm macht. Die Sauna war toll. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das Internet war sehr schnell und ist ausreichend schnell, um von da aus zu arbeiten, wenn man das muss. Wir haben den Ausflug zu den Rentieren sehr genossen, die Langlaufski und haben uns bei langen Spaziergängen in den Wäldern rundum sehr gut erholt. Die Gastgeber waren immer ansprechbar und total hilfsbereit. Es war sehr interessant und wir haben viel Neues über Lappland und Finnland gelernt. Vielen Dank für alles und hoffentlich bis bald!

Wir waren zu viert in der Wohnung und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ilkka hat uns persönlich begrüßt. Das Haus liegt nahe der Straße und ist auch im Winter gut mit dem Auto erreichbar. Die Sauna ist prima, die Betten bequem und das Sofa neu. Gewürze und Kaffee waren vorhanden. Ilkka hat uns Langlaufski und Schneeschuhe günstig organisiert und eine Loipe für uns gespurt, die hinter dem Haus losging. Polarlichter haben wir auch 2x gesehen. Alles war super unkompliziert. Gerne wieder. Vielen Dank.

La jolie maison jaune de Tommy est spacieuse et confortable. Rien ne manque et l’accueil est chaleureux. Le voisinage est tout aussi sympathique et les alentours sont intéressants. Merci à Tommy pour sa gentillesse et sa générosité. Je recommande vivement !

We were a group of 6 adults, and we all fitted very nicely in this wonderful cabin next to the lake. The silence of the forest was at times solely interrupted by the chirping of the birds. We felt right at home in the cabin, which was equipped with all we needed. For instance, the cabin had lot of amenities to cook, and towels and linens were available as nicely described. Within drivable distance from Rovaniemi, it was the perfect choice to spend time in the Finnish nature. The fireplace next to the lake and the private sauna made our stay unique. We highly recommend this place for medium sized groups who enjoy outdoors and having privacy and alternate the visit to Rovaniemi attractions with calmness and slow paced life of Finnish mökki. We had no troubles in driving with a van through the muddy road that runs through the hill and forest to reach the cabin in spring time. Thank you so much for the lovely stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Henri’s Airbnb! The place was beautiful, clean, and cozy—just as described. Everything was perfectly prepared, and the wood-fired sauna was a real highlight. Henri was a great host, very friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back. Thank you!

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Haus war einfach unvergesslich! Die Lage am Fluss war absolut atemberaubend und die Aussicht auf die Natur rundum ließ uns jeden Tag aufs Neue staunen. Ein ganz besonderes Highlight war der Abend, an dem wir die Polarlichter direkt über dem Haus und dem angrenzenden Fluss sehen konnten – ein Anblick, den man wohl nur selten im Leben erlebt! Es war ein magischer Moment, den wir nie vergessen werden. Die Umgebung war unglaublich ruhig und privat – perfekt, um wirklich abzuschalten und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Für uns war es die perfekte Auszeit, fernab vom hektischen Alltag. Die Fahrt zur nächsten Stadt und Einkaufsmöglichkeit dauert zwar etwa eine halbe Stunde, aber das war für uns überhaupt kein Problem, denn es hat sich absolut gelohnt, in dieser idyllischen Lage zu wohnen. Ein Auto ist hier definitiv notwendig, um die Region bequem zu erkunden. Alles in allem war es eine traumhafte Woche, die wir in vollen Zügen genossen haben.

Un immense merci à Teppo pour son accueil et sa grande réactivité tout au long du séjour. Grâce à cet emplacement exceptionnel, nous avons eu la chance incroyable d’observer les aurores boréales, un moment magique que nous n’oublierons jamais. Le logement est impeccable, parfaitement propre et très confortable. L’environnement est tout simplement somptueux, un véritable havre de paix en pleine nature. Nous recommandons vivement ce séjour à tous ceux qui souhaitent vivre une expérience unique en Laponie. Encore merci Teppo !

Thank you for a wonderful country style rustic authentic and super pleasant stay! Sandra and Madeleine were so welcoming and kind. This was far beyond a regular airbnb experience, and we couldn't thank them enough so we strongly recommend not to think twice. They brought us a wonderful breakfast every morning, took care of every little thing whole also giving us space. Thank you, we hope to be back!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in dieser Unterkunft! Wunderbar ruhige Lage in schöner Umgebung, ideal um mal abzuschalten und zu entspannen. Für Unternehmungen muss man häufig eine Weile fahren, dafür ist man aber mitten in der Natur und kann nachts einfach vor die Tür gehen und Nordlichter sehen (wenn welche zu sehen sind) - das war ein sehr tolles Erlebnis! Die Sauna war auch sehr angenehm ( der Hot tub war derzeit leider gefroren und außer Betrieb). Es gibt alles was man braucht im Haus und es ist dort sehr gemütlich. Wir waren mit unserem zweijährigen Sohn dort, und auch er hat sich sehr wohlgefühlt und hatte - wie wir - viel Spaß im Schnee!

Outstanding accommodation with Madeleine and Sandra being exceptional hosts. We couldn’t fault anything. Breakfast was perfect and brought over to us every day, with choice of foods including eggs, cereal, fresh bread, homemade jams and yoghurts. The house was very clean and tidy and the facilities were great, especially the jacuzzi and sauna. Great shower and good range of kitchen equipment to prepare meals at home. Everything was straightforward to use, including the jacuzzi, sauna and open fireplace. The stairs were steep but that didn’t affect us and added to the charm of the house. Excellent personal touches. They even baked us a Birthday cake as a surprise!. We booked this place as a base for visiting Overkallix (20mins) and doing winter activities there, which proved perfect for us. I wouldn’t hesitate staying here again or recommending this place to others.

Asunnossa hyvä hinta-laatusuhde. Todella rauhallinen asunto sekä sinne oli helppo kulkea. Saatiin todella hyvät ja kattavat ohjeet ennen majoitusta. Iso plussa perjantain saunavuoro! Omalla autolla kulku helppoa, parkkipaikkoja oli.

The cabin was great and Saara was very accommodating and responsive. The location was beautiful, and we were able to see the northern lights while standing on the frozen lake! The sauna was warm and cozy, and Rovaniemi was a short drive away. Thank you for hosting us, Saara!

I highly recommend it, it's a perfect holiday destination, without any disturbance, quiet and beautiful. There is a small river behind the house, although it was still frozen when I came, but I can definitely imagine that it will present a beautiful picture in summer.

The house and host are just amazing. We arrived after a very long day of travelling in a warm cosy place and immediately felt at home. Everything you could wish for is thought of. If we would ever come back to Lapland we will have to come back to Harri's place as everything else will be a disappointment. Thanks Harri for everything!

Mökki vastasi täysin kuvausta. Viestittely Jarin kanssa onnistui nopeasti ja vaivatta. Palju oli ihanasti esilämmitetty ja hän olisi tuonut lisää puitakin meille tarvittaessa. Mökki oli siisti ja meille kaikki tarvittava löytyi.

Our family really enjoyed the stay in the house. It looked and felt much bigger than on the photos. Very spacious and light. Our kids enjoyed playing the garden at the back of the house, which felt very private and quiet, and in the winter full of snow. House has everything one needs for a stay, enough plates, cutlery, cooking equipment in the kitchen; enough bedding and towels. It felt warm and quiet. We were very thankful that there was some food in the fridge from the host, like butter, milk and yogurt for the kids. It is two storey house: kids bedrooms are upstairs, master bedroom next to the living room. Very approachable and friendly host, who also offered to come to grit the driveway as the road was slippery due to the high temperatures and melting snow. Highly recommend this house!

Situé dans un environnement calme et paisible, le logement de Johanna et Marko permet de bien s'y reposer. Le cottage est bien équipé et dispose de tout le confort nécessaire. Par contre, les activités dans un environnement proche sont rares.

Nous avons passé 5 nuits dans le charmant petit chalet de Kaisa et Jari. L’accueil, le cadre, le chalet, tout était parfait ! Le logement est à environ 20 min du centre de Rovaniemi mais offre un cadre superbe en pleine forêt, bien mieux qu’en plein centre ville. Il offre tout le nécessaire dont vous avez besoin et vous vous sentirez comme chez vous dans ce petit cocon. Nous avons profité de la voiture que Kaisa et Jari mettent à disposition de leurs invités pour 50€/jour, ce qui nous a permis d’être autonomes et qui est indispensable pour profiter de la région. Kaisa et Jari ont été aux petits soins pour nous tout au long de notre séjour, et nous ont même proposé de venir nous récupérer et de nous déposer à l’aéroport. Encore un grand merci à tous les deux, nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir si nous retournons en Laponie !! ❄️❄️🦌 Alix et Schirley
