This house and host provided our best AIRBNB experience so far. Our family felt at home immediately. It was the perfect place to relax and visit. The beds are very comfortable. The bathroom (especially the primary suite's bathroom) have all the amenities. The kitchen is well supplied with dishes, cookware, and even disposable plates and utensils. The backyard and pool have given us new home backyard aspirations. The neighborhood is pretty and convenient. And our host, Leslie, was so accommodating and communicative.

We had such a great stay! The property was perfect for our family getaway—our kids especially loved the trampoline and the hot tub (they barely wanted to come inside!). Our Doberman, Lincoln, had the best time playing fetch in the large open space—it was such a treat to find a spot that’s truly dog-friendly. Melissa was a delightful host—super responsive and thoughtful. She even set up a fun scavenger hunt for the kids to find hidden gnomes around the property, which they absolutely loved. It’s little touches like that that made our stay really special. We’d love to come back again. Highly recommend!

Stayed for a few days as I was attending my sons graduation in the nearby town. It was perfect for our group with plenty of room inside and out. The backyard was relaxing with the pool, lounge furniture and trees. I would definitely stay here again.

We recently stayed at Don and Kathy’s beautiful home for our son’s wedding weekend and it was absolutely magical. Don and Kathy were incredibly hospitable, always easy to reach, and made us feel so welcome. The home itself is stunning—truly something to experience. The home is well-appointed and thoughtfully designed, offering both comfort and style for a truly relaxing stay. The surroundings felt straight out of a Hallmark movie, with autumn leaves falling and twinkling Christmas lights creating a festive atmosphere. It was cozy, inviting, and felt just like home. We can't wait to come back and stay here again! Thank you, Don and Kathy, for making our special weekend even more memorable!

Dan and Laura were very kind and responded quickly and honestly to all the questions we had leading up to our trip as well as during our trip. The house was beautiful. It worked perfectly for our group of 12 adults. We really appreciated the convenience of multiple bathrooms. My guests enjoyed the beautiful open kitchen, the large size tv in the living room, the downstairs entertainment room, and the hot tub the most. Thank you so much for being wonderful hosts! We had the most wonderful time in Marilyn and David's gorgeous home. The home is very large and accommodated our large group perfectly with plenty of large gathering spaces and private areas as well. The pool and hot tub are awesome. It even has a phonograph which was awesome and we enjoyed and danced to!! The entire property has a panoramic view of the foothills and is breathtaking and perfect for star gazing. Highly recommend!! Thanks so much for everything!!! The Wheelers

Glad we chose this home for a girls’ weekend away. It was cozy, clean, and welcoming. Robin made sure we had everything that we needed. The pool was really refreshing after spending the day sightseeing. We loved that the house overlooks the lake. We sat out on the balcony with our cups of coffee in the morning watching the sun rise and glimmer on the placid water. We were back on the balcony in the evening with glasses of wine watching the sunset as the stillness of the night crept in. Three bedrooms with three bathrooms made this a pleasant stay for three women enjoying a getaway!

House is great, but host is even greater. Super clean and perfect for the group we had for a family event. Lana was super responsive and understanding of all the accommodations we had and met them exceedingly. Thanks for the stay. Highly recommended for anyone up on the fence.

This is my second stay at the historic mansion. I wrote a glowing review on my previous stay and our current stay did not disappoint. If you are looking for a high end AirBNB this is the place. Accommodations as in our prior visit were excellent, beddings were very comfortable and the home itself is well laid out and roomy. Sue our host was kind enough to provide plenty of firewood so we could avail ourselves to the outdoor fire pit where we were able to roast marshmallows for the young ones. Sue also contacted me and advised the home was ready for check in at an earlier time making our check in much more convenient. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Yuba City.

I booked my first Air BnB, and Ryans property was the first! I came from Canada for a small vacation and was pleasantly surprised. It was beautiful and quiet and calm. The wildlife was amazing to experience so close. It was what I needed to escape my busy city life. Ryan was amazing to deal with and was so kind and respectful. Amazing host. I will be rebooking in the near future.

Remarkably beautiful and well appointed. The craftsmanship and artistry of the home is like being immersed in a life size art piece! The attention to detail in provisioning, stocking, and comfort were unparalleled. The kitchen is truly gourmet with everything you need to prepare an elegant 5 course meal! If I could give a 10 stars I would! We could not have asked for anything more.

Our stay was perfect! Absolutely stunning location that overlooks the large pond. It gives a peaceful and tranquil feel the moment you walk into the Airbnb. The house is beautifully decorated with a clean open concept but also cozy furniture that makes you feel right at home. The host was very kind and helpful answering questions and also letting us check-in early since there wasn’t a prior reservation that day. Overall wonderful experience and highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful getaway location!

The home is lovely, nestled in the trees. The house interior was light and bright. We appreciated the quality of cookware, and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the basic products. Notable was the quality products in the bathrooms. We felt welcomed and considered. The bed was comfy with clean, white, lovely non-smelling linens. You won’t be disappointed if you stay at this home. We look forward to returning to this wonderful place in grass Valley.

Wow Wow Wow!!! The view and grounds are amazing! The beds are all very comfortable and the linens are super soft. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware which made dinners easy. Plenty of seating and tables for all 8 of us. Bathrooms are updated with all of the amenities. The outdoor area was our favorite. They have many outdoor option’s when it comes to seating. Couches, lounges, chairs, beautiful large grass area, not to mention the kayaks, paddle boards and tubes. Steve and Sachie’s place is conveniently located to many of the surrounding cities. Our favorite restaurant was a very short drive and so delicious. Twelve 28 Kitchen will not disappoint. I have to end this review with Wow the view is amazing from this home. My friends and I traveled from SF for a ski weekend and came across this property. The house is very spacious, clean, views from literally every window, and the fireplaces made it extra cozy. We hope to come back again in the spring/summer to explore more in the area. Thanks again to the hosts for making our stay easy!

Beds were all very comfortable and clean. House was fun and interesting and thematically decorated. Kitchen was well stocked and easy to prepare food in. We had a very short stay but it was perfect for our needs and we would most certainly do it again! Thank you!!!

The house was perfect for our family and friends and a very close drive to a wedding we were attending. The space was beautiful, and had all the amenities for all ages: kid friendly and Grandma and Grandpa felt right at home.

The communication from Jonathan was very thorough for the duration of the rental. Everything was explained in detail in the house rules that were provided as well. There was a minor issue with driveway space on the first night, but it was resolved promptly. If my team and I are at a job in the area in the future, I would book this property again.

Such a cute place to stay that was close to town. Brittany was a great host with a very clean place. I know where I will be staying next time I visit the area.

We were in town visiting family, and this house was well-suited for our group of five. The living room accommodation was comfortable, but very bright as soon as the sun came up. Beds were comfortable, air conditioning, and ceiling fans were very welcome during the unseasonably hot time we were there. Location is close to food and stores, and the neighborhood is quiet.
