Cabin holiday rentals in Yucatan

Lovely property and friendly staff. Be sure to read the description and amenities fully just so you know what to expect. There are no true windows, only screens, and no A/C so it’s more like glamping. The WiFi only worked near the lobby/pool area but not in our cabin. We ended up having to leave early unexpectedly so I can’t give a full review of the place and didn’t try asking them about the WiFi. As long as you know what to expect, it’s great!

Great place to be at peace and enjoy nature

It was very quiet and interesting. Hector was a great host and made everything for us to feel comfortable. We were very warmly welcomed, got recommendations for our further trip and some information about Yucatan. You have to know that you are staying in a forest and it can of course be that you meet some small animals, but this is no problem.

Nice place and very Welcoming folks checking us in. Pool was wonderful and we all loved the feeling of being part of true culture.

Large, beautiful property with lots of charm and all of the amenities. It's the jungle and the buildings are simple, so prepare to contend with a few ( harmless ) bugs in the outdoor kitchen and in the rooms. Road to property is a bit long, narrow and rough. Internet was a bit spotty ( reportedly due to construction nearby ) but cell reception was good. Overall met my expectations and was a joy. Thanks Hiram!

Beautiful property nestled into the trees on the edge of the Si'an Kaan reserve. Very nice hospitality and clear check in instructions. it is a major plus that you can walk to Community Tours Si'an Kaan from here!

We loved the maya house. It was cozy and comfortable - nothing fancy but incredibly cute. Maria was a Great Host and helped us with everything. A tiny info for people with a light sleep: there are dogs, chicken, turkeys and humans in the neighborhood that are not always quiet. But hey, that’s Mexico 💚

Carlos's place is absolutely fantastic! New, super clean, and in a convenient location. Carlos is very kind and cared for the house with care. We had a great time in this house and recommend it to everyone! It's new and for this reason there are few reviews, but trust it's perfect for tourists in this area. The organic garden is delicious and at night you can hear the songs of the birds and the sounds of nature. Thank you for everything Carlos! Highly recommended.

The place matches the description. It's not a luxurious space, but it has everything you need to feel comfortable. It is very close to the beach, there is a path right in front of the entrance and from there you can see the beach! In the afternoon you can sit in front of your cabin and take the cool, in the background is a restaurant and in general there are many places close by to walk. A plus for us was being able to go with our two medium size dogs. We had a great time, we hope to be able to return soon.

Lush green garden space, clean, comfortable bed, nice to have bicycles available to get to the main square which takes 10mins. Our son liked the chickens and pig down too. First night there was lots of scooter traffic and dogs in the street barking constantly. The second night just heard the birds which felt more in a farm. It has mosquitoes around but the net works fine.

Just amazing. Nothing else to say then book it now and don't wait one more second if you feel drawn to this place ! It's magical. In the middle of the jungle, away from the craziness of the town. Patricio and everybody involved in this project are beautiful lovely souls, always there to help you out or give you a ride. Everything about this place is magical. If you're visiting Tulum for the whole hipster spiritual phenomena and for partying unconsciously and continue destroying the little bit of nature and authenticity remaining there don't even bother (or maybe do and this will teach you something!). This place is for people who want to make different choices and put the money in the right places to embody the change and help the planet be a better, more conscious place.

This place is AMAZING! Our family loved the nature and the pool, it’s gorgeous and relaxing but still not far from Merida (20 minute drive). Luis was very responsive and gave us lots of great recommendations, and went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. The maintenance guy was also very friendly and helpful. This stay is unreservedly recommended!

We stayed in a villa within the hacienda, they are very comfortable and with all the basics to spend a few very pleasant days. Reality offers more than what the photos show. Highly recommended to get away from the city and spend a few days surrounded by nature and within a heritage with history.

It was phenomenal. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a weekend with your family or friends. The place is beautiful and clean, and it has great privacy. In addition, it has all the necessary amenities to make your stay pleasant, such as coffee maker, plates, glasses, etc. The location is very good, since it is on the edge of the city, allowing you to enjoy the tranquility of the place without being too isolated. The treatment with Natali was excellent; always very kind, attentive and willing to help us with any questions. It was noticeable that he cares about the well-being of his guests, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The view from the hill is incredible, and I consider it one of the most remarkable points of the cabin. Awesome, definitely if I would come back.

A beautiful and peaceful retreat right on the beach, within a beautiful nature reserve of wildlife and flora. I was extremely pleased with our decision to visit Diego's Cabanas and would for sure return. We were looking for a peaceful retreat on the coast, away from big commercial spaces - and what a beautiful surprise and hidden gem yet to be discovered. Beautiful quiet beach, peaceful vistas, clean and large cabanas that were cool at night with screened windows, a most welcoming and attentive host who made us feel so welcome, and most important, a wonderful chef who cooked us delicious gourmet meals! Very valuable and tranquil experience! Thank you, Diego!

Our stay was only for one night, but we definitely could have stayed a whole week! The beach was just on our doorstep, delish seafood restaurants just 10 mins down the road and amazing tour contacts through Reonaldo himself. Reonaldo was there to meet us upon arrival, helped us book the most excellent tour to the Mangroves and answered any question we had about travel etc. The huts themselves are super sweet, even better than the pictures!

Our stay at Oliver’s place was delightful and we enjoyed meeting and talking with him about his work there. It was beautiful and peaceful, fun to explore. We enjoyed the cenote, even though it was a bit daunting to access. The dogs were a plus! We had most everything we needed. Really great retreat.

It's a super relaxing space for a weekend getaway, the hosts are incredibly friendly. It's an oasis!!! for accommodation in Tahmek if you go to a wedding event, christening etc xq is a 5-minute drive over the main church street and that town does not have hotel accommodation. The light and delicious breakfast!
