Cottage holiday rentals in Yucca Valley

Hands down the best place I’ve stayed in around Joshua Tree. The shade trees out front with the hammock swing to sit and enjoy the beautiful views of the valley and mountains. The cool tile floors on hot days, the good selection of vinyl, the comfortable bed, the hot tub for star gazing and on and on and on. The hosts were great communicators and were really helpful. Highly recommend

This place was the perfect place to celebrate Father’s Day weekend. The house was big and spacious. The pool was so clean and fun to be in. I will 100% be returning back.

The Tam house is a perfect place to land near Joshua tree National park. The gardens and home are so cute and the hot tub is so relaxing. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this home.

I had a wonderful stay this past weekend! The property was exactly as described—clean, stylish, and super comfortable. Check-in was seamless, and the host provided clear, helpful instructions throughout. The space had everything we needed and more, and the location was perfect for a relaxing getaway. I also really appreciated the thoughtful touches around the house, which made it feel extra welcoming. Highly recommend this spot, and I’d definitely love to come back!

Kristen is a friendly and communicative host who made sure we had all the info we needed for our getaway. Everything went so smoothly. Detailed check-in information and a beautiful house manual/ guidebook in the kitchen. The cottage has lovely furnishings and art, plenty of linens, and was immaculate. My mom’s only complaint was the hot water in the shower cuts out but it comes back. Just be careful not to hit the steps to the gate in the driveway, it gets really dark at night! Absolutely recommend.

It was such a beautiful home with an amazing view of the desert , truly stunning area to have a get a way and just relax . Definitely recommend! xx

We had the best time! It was quiet and serene. We checked out the local hiking spots and enjoyed the bbq outside. The pool was a beautiful touch. Very refreshing after a sunny hike. Diane was also very responsive and available when we needed anything. We felt very well take care of. Will definitely visit again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hidden Passage Athena. I loved the pool, and how peaceful, quiet and private it was. It’s exactly what we were looking for. Diane was very nice and communication was great. Very clean. A/C worked perfectly and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. A couple small details that were not a problem for us, just helpful so you know what to expect. The shower is a very basic plastic corner stall shower with no shower head, and a little tricky if you’re tall. There are no curtains on the bathroom windows, but there’s also no one around really, so I wasn’t worried about it. There is good take out food about 15 min away. We didn’t order delivery because I doubt the drivers would want to take the long dirt road to get in. Overall it was a very peaceful, lovely stay. I chose it for the pool, and it did not disappoint! The best part is that there was never anyone using it while I was, so very private!

Diane was an incredible host! Her and the Hidden Passage crew have created such a beautiful and peaceful oasis and made mine and my partner’s anniversary vacation an absolute dream! It truly felt like we were removed from society for a small moment and that’s exactly what we needed. The property was so well managed and kept so pristine! Every staff member we met on site was so kind and extremely helpful! I could not recommend this place enough! Also the pool rocks, we spent every single day in it!

An absolute gem of a location. Perfect privacy and nearby accessibility within walking distance to the pool, bathing areas and trails. I really felt like I had my own home while there and the WiFi throughout the location was a big plus! Will definitely come back again!

This cottage is located privately in the canyons of Joshua Tree. You have to take a dirt road to get in that takes 10 minutes give or take and my Honda Accord was able to access. The ranch is so quiet and beautiful. Truly you will feel disconnected from the hustle and bustle of life and will feel refreshed here. Best part is there is a creek on the property! You have to hike to the back of the cottage. Diane was super responsive and accommodating! Terrific and beautiful place.
