Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Žabljak

We were 4 friends traveling in the heart of Durmitor National Park. Sandra's accommodation is very well located, close to everything that is useful. There is a gas station, supermarkets and restaurants within a 5-minute drive. It is easy to get around to go to the different activities (rafting, quad, hiking (lakes), panoramic views… the parents of our host Sandra were our neighbors, they don't speak English but are adorable!!! They helped us make a fire (temperatures a little cool during our stay) and they are super welcoming. I would recommned this property ☺️

Neda is a very responsive host, the apartment is perfect, on a quiet street and right next to the bus station. I recommend it 100%.

We had an amazing time at Forest Rhapsody! The location is stunning, surrounded by nature, which provided the perfect peaceful retreat we were looking for. The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully designed, making our stay even more enjoyable. The hosts were friendly and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind and connect with nature!

We had a wonderful stay! The interior of the cabin was cozy, clean, and well supplied — just as seen in the photos. The location was fantastic, with easy access to town (just a 3-4-minute drive away) and some truly beautiful hikes nearby. What really stood out, though, was Zorica’s hospitality. She was incredibly kind and responsive, checking in regularly to ensure everything was going smoothly. The only thing to note — more as a sidenote than a complaint — is that the area around the cabin is experiencing a lot of growth, with many new cabins being built nearby. While the setting incredibly scenic, it doesn’t quite have the remote, countryside feel it may have once had. That may or may not be a factor depending on what a traveler is looking for. That said, the views remain lovely, and the fenced-in yard with a safe barrier to the road was perfect for letting the kids play freely.

So this charming rustic apartment is within walking distance of the town of Zabljak and its shops and restaurants. We used it as our base to explore Durmitor National Park and the local area. It was an ideal base, close to the Black Lake and Miso kindly helped us with directions and instructions for the panoramic drive known as the Ring of Durmitor. But it's not the apartment we will remember most, it's Miso and his friendliness, our little morning and evening chats via a translate app that did a fabulous job of translating Montenegro to English and vice versa. His kindness and friendliness is what we will remember most from our stay, sometimes it's the people you meet that are the things to be treasured not a gleaming 5* hotel but friendship and kindness.

The apartment is in a convenient location, there is a parking space, independent entry and exit, new furniture, the kitchen has all the necessary utensils, it is clean, cozy, there is air conditioning. The host communicates pleasantly, responds quickly to messages.

We liked the stay, beautiful nature, it was quiet around. The house corresponds to the description and photos

First, you must register in the Tourist Office and pay daily tax. The host doesn't not inform of this on the listing, house rules or in person. I was delayed doing so. The apartment was nice, clean and looked like the photos. I believe the shower was recently replaced, so there's no longer a little tub. The apartment has most kitchen items for an extended stay - pots, cutlery, dishes, microwave etc. There are basic tv channels and wifi available. Beka provided local information and recommendations about store opening time. The town center is about a 5 or 6 minute walk. The neighborhood is cute and mostly quiet, except for a few hours each day there are children playing, yelling and driving motorized cars in front of the apartment. I did notice a lack of cleaning supplies, such as a broom, dustpan and extra trash bags which would have helped keep clean during an extended sta with pets.. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Vjera and her husband were the loveliest people. They went out of their way to make our stay memorable and enjoyable and went above and beyond to help us when our rental car wouldn’t start. Their place is exactly like the photos, it is homely and cosy. They left us fruit and sweets and even brought over absolutely delicious pancakes. The area is absolutely stunning, it blew our socks off! Would love to visit again and stay in their wonderful place.

My family and I had a wonderful weekend in Oliver's apartment, which is impeccably clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Olivera is an exceptional host. I hope we have the opportunity to be guests of Oliver again. Any recommendations!

Beautiful apartment in an even more beautiful setting! Andrea’s place was spotless and had everything we needed. The listing matches the photos, and locating the building for checkin was very easy. The apartment has a balcony that looks out onto the most peaceful view of the mountains, and you’re in walking distance to black lake as well as all the local stores and restaurants. The location couldn’t have been more perfect for everything we wanted to do. On top of all this, Andrea has to be the best host I’ve encountered! Very kind, friendly, and incredibly helpful with very quick responses. I wish we could have stayed longer, but I know I will look to Andrea for accommodation if we return.

good view, in front of the house is a football field on which children often play, that is part of this village irt just, you have to walk a few meters downhill to get to the lake and walk past the beautiful church. supermarket and touri info just a few meters away. all important tourist info brochures can be found in the apartment, very nice apartment, beautiful view

We felt very comfortable in the accommodation. Although it is quite small, it is practical and very lovingly decorated. The family is very welcoming. For example, we were brought something small homemade to eat several times. Likewise, the place is very nicely located and you are very quickly in the national park and in the city of Zabljak. We would come back any time 🥰

We had a wonderful stay at Nikolas’ place in Žabljak. He was a great host—very kind, helpful, and welcoming to me and my family. He went out of his way to assist us and gave us great recommendations for places to visit in the area. We’re truly thankful and grateful for his hospitality. I highly recommend staying at his place!

The stay was decent, the location is very convenient. The listing does not indicate that you will be staying in the house with the host, you are assigned the 2nd and 3rd floor of the house. Overall it didn't bother us as we were only staying for 1 night but there was a baby shouting at times. Also the electric kettle was broken and we had to heat the water in the pot. Vladimir himself is friendly, told the area where we can go, helped us organize rafting, thank you.
