Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Zakinthos

Georgia ist einer der nettesten Menschen dem ich in meinem Leben begegnet bin , Ich durfte sie mittlerweile meine Freundin nennen! Sie war immer schnell erreichbar , hat mir immer geholfen, hat immer nachgefragt ob ich was brauche... Ich durfte auch ihre wunderbare Familie besuchen , einfach höfliche süße Menschen:) Die Unterkunft ist genau wie beschrieben , hat alles was man für einen Urlaub benötigt , ist sehr sauber und ist ruhig ... Ist in einem kleinem Dorf (Exo Chora) mit sehr netten Leuten.... Man braucht aber unbedingt ein Auto um die Umgebung zu erkunden! Und immer Georgia fragen bevor man losfährt und in irgendwas reinfällt , sie kennt nämlich die besten Orten in Insel .... Ich würde definitiv zu 100% nochmal hinfliegen...

The house is well situated in the center of a quiet village, ideal to explore not only the stunning west coast but the whole island. An authentic stone house with high ceiling and lovely big terrace. There are a couple of very good tavernas, a bakery and a store in a walking distance. Panagiotis is a great host - very friendly, thoughtful, fast responding (we booked on the go hours before arriving). He even brought fresh flowers for decoration. We could have easily stayed for longer if we weren't heading to Kefalonia.

Mein Freund und ich waren das erste Mal auf der Insel. Die Unterkunft war perfekt. Ruhig gelegen aber nicht abschüssig. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und haben Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt bekommen. Egal was man gebraucht hat, Paganitos hat sich gekümmert und war rund um die Uhr anzutreffen. Er war freundlich, herzlich und offen. Auch verliebt haben wir uns in die Katzen die uns frühs und abends besucht haben und Hunger hatten. Natürlich haben wir ihnen Futter und Wasser gegeben ;) Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und jedem diese Unterkunft ans Herz legen.

The house is right next to a tiny beach with deck chairs. There's a kayak for guests to use for free, too. Georgios is very nice and helpful.

Heel gastvrije mensen! We maakten kennis met Joanna en konden te allen tijde contact opnemen met haar Engels sprekende zoon in Athene die vrijwel direct respons gaf. Joanna maakte iedere dsg schoon én deed de was (wat een onverwachte luxe!). De tuin rook toen wij er waren heerlijk naar jasmijn. Er is een hek waar we de sleutels van kregen, dus het was veilig voor onze dochter van bijna 2 om in haar eentje op onderzoek uit te gaan in de tuin. Verder was er genoeg privacy, zowel door een groot eigen terras aan de achterkant, als in de gemeenschappelijke tuin aan de voorkant van het huisje. Heel fijne plek en best centraal gelegen.

Bij aankomst werden we meteen enthousiast en vriendelijk welkom geheten. Hoe de woning staat omschreven in de advertentie, zo zag het er in het echt ook uit! Schoon, ruimtelijk en voldeed aan alle wensen! Top service! De host is vriendelijk en was goed te bereiken voor vragen, activiteiten en tips! Met 11 vrienden hebben we een leuke vakantie gehad!

Die Villa Vissala ist einfach atemberaubend! Wir hatten in all unseren bisherigen Familienurlauben ohne Übertreibung noch nie eine so bezaubernde und besondere Unterkunft. Sybille und Eckhard waren als Gastgeber unglaublich freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt. Die Lage, Art und Ausstattung des Hauses ist vermutlich einzigartig. Vom riesigen Pool, den Terrassen unter Olivenbäumen und den Schlafzimmern aus hat man einen grandiosen Blick über die Insel, das Ionische Meer und das nördlich gelegene Kefalonia. Das allein ist für einen erholsamen Urlaub ausreichend & erfüllend. Im nördlichen Teil der Insel gelegen bietet das Haus aber außerdem die perfekte Lage, um die spektakulären Sehenswürdigkeiten von Zakynthos vom Land oder Wasser aus zu erreichen. Das Haus und der Garten ist sehr geräumig, sauber und liebevoll mit viel Stil und Geschmack eingerichtet - es fehlt an nichts. Alles ist lichtdurchflutet. Wir können die Villa Vissala nur empfehlen!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The house was exactly as described - luxurious, and spacious. The owner was incredibly responsive and always available to assist with any questions or needs, making the experience even smoother. Highly recommend :)

Der Aufenthalt war traumhaft!!! Der Garten mit dem Pool war so schön, wir hatten eine tolle Aussicht, es war ruhig und unsere drei Kinder hatten großen Spaß im Garten und im Pool. Auch das Haus war sehr schön, man hatte alles da, konnte super kochen. Außerdem haben wir am Anfang ganz viele Snacks von Letitzia und Spiros bekommen, zwischendurch mal Obst und sogar einen sehr leckeren Kuchen :) wir wurden auch gefragt, ob sie etwas für uns einkaufen sollen, da wir an einem Sonntag angereist sind. Die beiden sind total lieb!! Auch die Gegend ist toll. Es gibt ein super Restaurant ca 5-10 Minuten mit dem Auto, auch ein Supermarkt in ca 5-10 Minuten Entfernung und Zakynthos Stadt waren ca 20-30 Minuten. Die Unterkunft war aber so schön, dass wir fast nur dort waren. Wir können sie wirklich sehr empfehlen. Vielen Dank Leticia und Spiros!!!

INCREDIBLE STAY! This place was everything we hoped for and more. The studio was spotless, cozy, and beautifully set up. The hosts were absolutely amazing—so warm and welcoming. We were greeted with delicious home-cooked local food and fresh eggs straight from their farm (honestly, the best eggs we’ve ever had!). We also did a boat tour with our host and later took the boat out on our own—highly recommend exploring the area by boat, it was such a highlight of our trip. The location was peaceful and relaxing, yet still really convenient for getting around. We loved every minute of our stay and would come back in a heartbeat!

Wij hebben eind mei 8 dagen van dit heerlijke verblijf mogen genieten. Wat een fantastische plek! Wij vonden dit het fijnste plekje van het Eiland. Het is er rustig en niet mega toeristisch. Wij hadden een auto gehuurd waardoor we makkelijk overal konden komen en dus ook de drukte op konden zoeken als we daar zin in hadden. Je kunt naar het dorp lopen mocht je zin hebben in een stevige wandeling. Ook is Pavlos, de host, heel behulpzaam en doet er alles aan om je het naar je zin te maken. Hele vriendelijke man en heeft heel veel kennis over het eiland en leuke tips over mooie plekken en goeie restaurants die hij graag met je deelt. Zeker een aanrader! Pavlos, nogmaals heel erg bedankt voor het fijne verblijf!

Absolutely gorgeous property and perfectly suited to a larger group, we were ten guests and it comfortably slept everyone. It had so many wonderful areas to dine too, from a rooftop terrace, to a romantic barbeque area and poolside table, plus two fantastic long tables inside the property. The pool was wonderful, though bracingly cold - I'm not sure how warm it gets in the heat of the summer as it is quite shaded in the beautiful olive grove. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of bathrooms for everyone to use. My only criticism is a couple of the bedrooms were a little less than ideal due to very steep access or not particularly private spots - one was a curtained off area in the living room. Our host, Anna, was absolutely incredible though, nothing was too much trouble, and she even provided a karaoke machine as evening entertainment for a special birthday celebration! A gorgeous property in a wonderful location, I hope we'll visit again one day.

A truly fantastic stay! Staying at The Tower in Vasilikos was an unforgettable experience. The Tower itself is full of character and charm, with beautiful views. Waking up to the view of the olive trees and the sea in the distance from the bedroom balcony was a highlight of our trip. The space is clean, peaceful, and uniquely designed, striking a perfect balance between rustic and comfortable. Valory and Vassilis left us some helpful local tips and ensured we were well informed before we arrived about check in and all of the features of the house. The location is fantastic - near some beautiful beaches (St Nicholas beach was a highlight for us) and great amenities. One of the highlights for our family was the pool – our children absolutely loved it! It was the perfect place for them to cool off, play, and enjoy the sunshine. If you're looking for a serene family friendly getaway in Zakynthos, The Tower is a rare gem. We left feeling relaxed, rested and not wanting to return home!

John était très accueillant et réactif. Il nous a indiqué une liste d'activités à proximité à notre arrivée. Le logement était impeccable, avec tout ce qu'il faut à l'intérieur. Ils sont également passés faire le ménage au milieu de notre séjour qui durait que 5 nuits.

Had an absolutely amazing stay at Harry’s. The home was beautiful with plenty of space. Although we could’ve just stayed at the pool and enjoyed the views, the location was perfectly in the middle of all our planned activities. Harry was great with recommendations and so helpful! Hopefully we will be back<3

Great place Perfect people

We had a wonderful stay celebrating our anniversary and babymoon at the Windmill! Our hosts were so friendly and helpful and the place was impeccable and so thoughtfully restored from an active windmill into a lovely place to stay with beautiful 360 sunrise and nighttime views. Worth noting that a rental car was helpful for taking full advantage of the area and island, and that the bedroom is on the third floor while the bathroom is on the first floor so that's good to be aware of when booking! The outdoor kitchen was so special and had everything we needed to make lovely breakfasts and lunches in the space and we adventured out to some recommended restaurants for dinner. Gorgeous natural flowers everywhere and very romantic! Even better than the photos. We'd particularly recommend sunset dinner at the Porto Schiza restaurant and visiting Elies for olive oil tasting!

I’ve been renting on Airbnb for about a decade now, and this is one of the greatest places I’ve ever stayed yet. It’s such a good value for the privacy, beautiful furnishings, and amazing backyard with that view. Spyridoula is impeccable at her job without ever seeming overbearing. She had the most thoughtful gifts for us and was able to answer any questions or tackle our requests easily. We loved the massages she arranged for us so much that we asked her to schedule another round, which she was able to accommodate no problem. While it was just two of us, this place can easily fit 8 comfortably. Waking up each morning in the room with the panoramic windows was magical. The housekeeping and grounds staff were discreet and did their work flawlessly. Every taverna we tried nearby was delicious (highly recommend Dopia’s for homestyle food and Da Camillo for pizza). This villa with such a high level of service and comfort was the highlight of our honeymoon- thank you again!

This place was INCREDIBLE. We can't say enough good things about the house and the host. House: The place was immaculate. They've done a beautiful job in the design of the place. There are endless spaces to relax, enjoy the views, and lounge comfortably. The beds and couches were cozy and the views are spectacular. The Location: The house is located on the quieter side of the island and was exactly what we wanted for our relaxing vacation. It was a short drive to half a dozen or more stunning and non-crowded beaches and lots of delicious and charming restaurants. Renting a car is a must and will make exploring the area much easier. The Host: George is the best. He's very responsive and went above and beyond in making our stay comfortable. He even baked us fresh cookies for our arrival. What a gem. Recos: Our favorite restaurants (all a 2 minute drive from the house): Nobelos, Skinos, The Old Windmill Favorite Beach: Wolf Rocks Beach Stop reading this and book the place!

Yoma is outstanding- amazing host, great facilities and unbelievable views.

Ho scelto questo alloggio anche per le ottime recensioni. Sono rimasta estremamente soddisfatta perché erano assolutamente veritiere non c'è stato nulla che mi abbia deluso, anzi... E' già stato scritto tutto nelle precedenti recensioni... Casa pulitissima con tutto il necessario, patio esterno ed interno ( con doccia esterna comodissima) super rilassanti. Ma il valore aggiunto sono le persone DELIZIOSE che ci hanno anche deliziato con prelibatezze culinarie. Aggiungo che la posizione per noi era ottimale molto vicina alla spiaggia da noi preferita Xigia Pelagaki, non distante da Zante Town e da pochissimi minuti da Alikes che offre la scelta di molti ristoranti e servizi. Da là noi abbiamo facilmente raggiunto Porto Vromi dove abbiamo noleggiato una barca per vedere la Spiaggia del Relitto. Super consigliato, la mia famiglia ed io ci abbiamo lasciato il cuore.

Gianni’s place is well worth the stay, you have everything you need if you prefer an apartment instead of hotel, we found the place very clean and smelling very nice. We have a 1 year and 4 months old girl and she felt right at home when we arrived (sorry if we left any damage, we did our best to keep her away from everything breakable). The place is right by the city center with plenty restaurants and shops around. Giannis and especially his mother are the sweetest and kindest people I’ve met through Airbnb! Thank you for everything! One problem is the parking, you can park free anywhere on the street but there is the risk of finding the car with scratches as the island has small streets and the traffic is heavy.
