Wow!!! We loved this place sooo much! An amazing place with the most perfect view, the owners were so nice and thoughtful! They let us to check out later and when we arrived they even welcomed us with a local drink. Really I can’t say even one bad thing about them! Thanks you guys we had the best time ever! 🙏🙏🙏

We can only say here that the place is absolutely amazing. Located directly on Lake Balaton, now nice and quiet in April and the house or the equipment is very good. A dream if you can sit in the hot tub or on the sofa in not so warm weather and look out on the Lake Balaton through the large panoramic windows. All in all, this was a fantastic stay for us Hungarian fans here in April.

We returned to Andrea's place for the second time, it was just as peaceful and beautiful. Andrea is a responsive host, the house is comfortable for 10-12 people to stay, all was as described in the listing. I hope we will return soon!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was cozy. The kids enjoyed the garden with their own playground. We received super recommendations from the host. Every day, there's something kid-friendly just a few minutes drive away. We loved Lake Balaton in the fall!

Friendly and welcoming hosts in a lovely house at the end of a quiet dead end street, perfect for a peaceful stay. The apartment looks exactly like the photos: simple, modest, but very comfortable. It had everything we needed for a great stay. We explored the neighborhood by bike and truly enjoyed the calm and charming surroundings. A great choice for those looking for a quiet and pleasant place to relax.

Everything was fine, we had a great time. It is indeed a quiet and comfortable house, equipped with a pool, jacuzzi, ice-cold air conditioning and a huge garden. The host was kind and helpful, we could turn to him with anything. It's definitely good for families, I can only recommend it!

You can only say, great. We were very satisfied and felt comfortable right away. It couldn't be better.

We really loved this place, we were a family of four who stayed for 5 nights, and were very comfortable. It's a homely and beautiful old farmhouse that has been modernised well, with care and good taste, so as to maintain the character of the property but feel comfortable. It has a thatched roof and thick walls, which keeps the place cool in summer (and I guess warm in winter). We were there at the end of a hot August, but the house was cool enough with windows (fitted with mozzie nets) open in the evening. The outside dining area and garden are very relaxing. There are daytime biting mosquitos, so do bring repellant. There is a charming and peaceful local beach nearby (paid entry), great for families. The house provides bikes, which is great as there are cycle paths nearby and also very useful for popping out the the shops. Hypermarkets and all necessary shops short cycle or drive away.

We had an unforgettable 3-night stay at Uncle Paul’s place in Balatonfüred. It truly felt like visiting family. Uncle Paul speaks excellent English and is incredibly knowledgeable, not just about wine, but also about local history, plants, and culture. He welcomed us with such kindness: picking us up from the train station (even with our two huge suitcases!), treating us to wine tasting while sharing his deep knowledge of Hungarian wines - how they’re made, where they come from, and what goes into them. He also generously offered us homemade Hungarian fish soup, fresh fruits and nuts from his garden, and even took time to drive us to beautiful Tihany. Uncle Paul has travelled to many countries and shared fascinating stories that kept us smiling and laughing. We drank together, sang together, danced together, and had the most wonderful holiday. Three nights were far too short, we left with full hearts and lovely memories. Thank you, Uncle Paul!

The place is a conversion of part of a Hungarian house. It has very thick walls. Inside there are two very large rooms each with a large bed, maybe king size, and a sofa that looks like it turns into another large bed, so should easily sleep 8 people. There is no living room, but each of the bedrooms is kind of like its own living room. There is no TV but there is fast Internet through WiFi. There is a large kitchen/diner with all the essential bits and pieces for cooking and a full sized gas cooker. There is a bathroom with shower and WC and a separate WC. Both are decorated with modern tiling. There is a garden. The owner lives in a house on the site. This is on the edge of a small town up in the hills overlooking the Balaton. You really need a car to get here and to explore the area. We didn't move anywhere on foot. The place is very quiet and relaxing and functional but it really it is a jumping off point to explore the area. I'm all we enjoyed our stay here.

A beautiful place to stay in a beautiful environment, comfortable, clean, and really cozy! Helpful and kind landlord. It was ideal with family because it is well equipped and in the middle of nature. So young children were able to run outside all day in the good air with a wonderful view of Lake Balaton. Although the latter was mostly an experience for adults! :) The nearby Laci Cellar Csárda was also an outstanding experience. Thank you so much!

Fantastic home for a peaceful vacation! Beautiful place with an extraordinary view. Growing nuts in the garden provided a lot of shade. The house has a renovated kitchen and bathroom. Hosts are very kind and helpful. The beach is 30 minutes on foot, but you can take local buses and the stop is very close. We recommend visiting the castle and the surrounding hills. Remember there are not many beaches on Balaton where you can be with your dog. Dogs are also not allowed on the beach area in Szigliget.

Adrienn is a very kind and helpful landlord, and the communication with her was seamless throughout. Our stay was a very neat, cozy and comfortable house with all the equipment provided for a pleasant stay. The garden was kept beautifully tidy. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet, close to Lake Balaton, but it wasn't crowded at all in April. There are also 3 easy hiking trails that we have successfully completed, and walked a lot, biked, and even baked bacon in the garden in these few days. We also brought a pen oven, but it was a shame, because it is also in the house...:-) We had a great time, the nearby Promenade Confectionery is a special gem for Balatongyörök! :-) We'd love to go back!

We had an absolutely fantastic two-week stay at this Airbnb! The house is perfectly equipped for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The kitchen is fully fitted, making it easy to cook meals, and every part of the house feels thoughtfully prepared to ensure a pleasant stay. The garden and pool area are simply wonderful—beautifully maintained and a joy to spend time in. Both my children and we thoroughly enjoyed swimming and lounging by the pool. A special highlight for our kids was the company of the owner’s two lovely cats, who were an absolute delight to have around. The owner was incredibly nice and helpful, always available to offer recommendations and ensure that we had everything we needed. Their hospitality truly made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we had an amazing two weeks here and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect holiday getaway!

Everything was really beautiful.

We had a super nice, pleasant holiday in this beautiful villa. The house is very well equipped, has a nice terrace and a beautiful garden with many trees, which give the necessary cooling during the hot summer days. (the airconditioners in the bedrooms are also a great added value) The quiet beach is around the corner (approx. 200m) and with the wagon you can easily take all your beach equipment with you. On foot or by bike you will be in the center at the bakery, small supermarket or restaurant. Highly recommended to discover the Balaton and this beautiful region.

You are looking for a little corner of paradise for a stop or a longer break. Look no further. Hans is the one to go to. The accommodation is perfect in terms of bedding and amenities. Impeccable cleanliness. Hans and his wife are charming hosts, ready to help and engage in friendly discussions. Go ahead!

We liked Robert's house very much. It has 3 bathrooms / toilet which is very pleasant and was a great fit for us. The pool with canopy as well as the foosball table (foosball) also gave us a lot of joy. Baby cot great, as well as the towels (quantity, size, fluffy). The view of Tapolca and up to Lake Balaton is beautiful. Most of the time, it was very quiet. All in all highly recommended and a good base to explore the area or just enjoy the house. Criticisms: With such a house, there is always something to do or repair. But there was nothing that would have been so disruptive that it would have clouded the vacation. The flap to the icebox should be directed.
