The weekend was simply perfect. The house offered the necessary amenities to prepare our food, set up a family table and rest. Board games allowed to enjoy an entertaining family moment before sunset from the hammock, a magical moment. Outdoor hall and awnings allow you to enjoy outdoor food on a sunny day. We enjoyed touring the property, a delight for nature lovers. It was fascinating to see the cows grazing up close and discovering that they are planting native trees. The promenade by the river was very relaxing and unique. The restoration of this centuries-old house is admirable, they have achieved a cozy and comfortable atmosphere without losing its historical charm. Feel the warmth in every corner. We're grateful for this experience. The spacious parking lot was useful for the group. We highly recommend this place for a comforting getaway near Loja! We'll be back!

Freddy was an excellent host. From the topics of the trip (rain) we asked you to check in earlier and helped us with that. At the time of check-in it was very pending until we entered. The area is very safe and quiet. The view of the city from there is truly beautiful that captivated us. The home has beautiful finishes. His living room has a TV and access to watching movies which for our family trip helped a lot. I totally recommend this place and will surely fall in love just like we do.

My 2 friends and I thought it was perfect. Eddy, Martha’s husband, stood outside to make sure the taxi driver (from another city where airport is) could find the location. Mercado in a square about 3 blocks away, Tia a little farther but certainly walkable. We found great restaurants (Dumas) and coffee shops (Kawah) all within 10 minutes. Botanical and huge city garden were a cheap taxi ride away (around $3 each) Great instructions and information about condo, area and how to operate the TV. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Loja. Our stay was so delightful, house wash spotless,beds were very comfortable, good location. Even a roof top sitting area. Washer available with line drying too.

Stayed for almost three months and had a wonderful time. Martha is very responsive and respectful of her guests. The upstairs gardens is so special. The apartment is comfortable and pristine.

Hosts are great, intelligent, helpful. The location is super, the view from the window is mountains, there is a river nearby, there are paths along it, people do sports, mainly jogging, the city itself is the most calm in Ecuador from the large ones, there is no heat and there is no cold. And the house is on the edge, not noisy. They wrote that the dogs disturbed someone, I told the hosts. They said she died, they loved her for a very, long time...

My experience, the place was clean, tidy and as shown in the photos. I felt very comfortable. I also thought the location was excellent, it's close to the UTPL and downtown, so I could get around easily. Check-in was easy and overall, everything was perfect. I would certainly stay here again.
