Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Zella-Mehlis

We were two with our dog for a week in the accommodation of Beatrix and felt super comfortable. At check-in, the family was on site and showed us everything. We were received in a very friendly and warm manner. In the accommodation we lacked nothing, everything was very clean, beautifully furnished and the location is beautiful. The only criticism: We would have liked to have been prepared for the fact that 4 goats are directly on the property. This took a bit of nerve the first two days, because our dog is very motivated to hunt and we had to show her that the goats were not to be eaten. 😅 But with a lot of management, we were able to let them run freely on the beautiful property. We will definitely return! (:

We were with our baby and our dog in Andreas' holiday home to simply relax as new parents. Long walks in nature are also possible with strollers, as the path is paved. The place was very cozy and modernly furnished. Andreas is a very friendly and likeable host. If anything comes up, you can reach him anytime. We had a very nice extended weekend!

The vacation home is very quietly located on the edge of a village and is an ideal starting point for hikes in the area. You can hike directly from the house into the mountains. By car, many other interesting destinations in southern Thuringia and northern Franconia are also within easy reach. There is a supermarket and butcher in the village, while discounters and large supermarkets are a few minutes away by car. The house is a typical Thuringian forest house with small rooms and steep wooden stairs, freshly renovated and very well equipped. The largest room is a playroom with lots of toys for the kids. Communication with the host works very well, Marcus responds very quickly and tries to meet all requests. We enjoyed it very much. If we are in the area again, we will book the place again.

We were received in a very friendly manner and received an introduction to the accommodation. Everything needed for our short trip was there. Everything was clean and as described. We felt very comfortable. A small cute winding apartment where you feel right at home.

A beautiful place to relax & discover. Upon arrival, we were greeted on the terrace by a curious, trusting fire salamander. The cottage is very cozy with a lot of attention to detail and you immediately feel comfortable - everything you need is there. A big thank you to Katharina for the warm hospitality. We will be happy to come back!

The place was very clean and just right for all the people. Nearby are various restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. If you feel the wanderlust, this is also a good starting point. The huge couch and fireplace invite you to chat and the kitchen is superbly equipped. There are enough beds available even if the climb to the top takes some getting used to. But all in all very cozy and modern. We enjoyed the time together very much and can highly recommend Nicole's place.

We spent relaxed days in this super beautiful cottage and the idyllic natural garden. The cottage has been lovingly renovated, yet it has retained its old charm in many places. There is a lovely welcome package, which the children and our dog were very happy about. The area is super beautiful and interesting. There is a great nature reserve nearby and it is not far to Eisenach. The nearest shopping facility is only a few kilometers away in the next village. You can also have a great holiday in this house and in the surrounding area with a rather nervous animal welfare dog. There is plenty of space and tranquility for everyone. The people in the village are also very nice and understanding. You can start hiking directly from the house. There is a good information folder. Our children were thrilled with the warm down duvets and extra blankets, as the weather was cool on Pentecost. We can only recommend the Kaufmann family and their cottage! 😃

We had a great time with a dog in Manuel's place for two. There was even a welcome treat and the fenced garden was great for a relaxing stay. The district is very small, but we were on the road every day anyway. The area is great for hiking or model flying, which is why we were there. The house is equipped with everything you need, we didn't miss anything. The built-in oven impressed us very much and makes cool evenings super cozy. Communication with Manuel was straightforward, although no in-person contact was made, which we a little regretted, but that's a matter of taste. Nevertheless, it was a very friendly and pleasant contact. Will be happy to come back if we go back to the Rhön. A really nice spot in Germany :-)

Great stay at Franziska's! The bungalow is really great – perfect for the two of us. The small terrace is pleasant, well located, and the pool is also great. The bungalow was very clean and beautifully decorated. Perfect for a getaway. Thanks for everything, we will be happy to come back !

We were with a group of 13 and enjoyed the accommodation immensely. In the house there was enough to keep us busy, I am thinking of the great sauna and swimming pond but also the extensive range of board games, toys, chess board and poker set. It is a very charming house that is modern where it should be. The area was beautiful and even more beautiful than in the picture. You can take a very nice walk directly from the garden and you are really in nature. This is definitely recommended!

I couldn’t recommend more Svenjas plece! It was amazing, the place itself very spacious. It has everything you need for. She hosted as we were at home. We visited with our little one and our dog and we fledged like at home! Definitely would come back again!! Thanks!!

One of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in, located in the city of Erfurt but in a very calm and relaxing place, we were in the area for work and it was perfect to relax at the end of the day, it has everything you need in the house, Anke, Frank and Kheda are very friendly and good hosts, I really recommend it, thank you

The hut is great for hikes and excursions to reservoirs and many activities. Very quiet and right by the forest to go hiking. .In the cabin there is everything you need. Super fenced for our dogs,which gives extra points;-).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cottage. It was really everything you need – fully equipped, clean and furnished with attention to detail. The atmosphere was very cozy, so we immediately felt comfortable. Very nice communication with the hosts. It should be noted that the shared pool is an indoor pool. However, there is an outdoor swimming pool in Ronshausen. The Breitenbach bathing lake is not necessarily recommended. The wonderful tranquility is particularly noteworthy - perfect for relaxing and switching off from everyday life. We will be happy to come back!

The place was very clean and nothing was broken for the first time, everything worked ,Wi-Fi,TV,toaster, Coffee maker,vacuum cleaner,hair dryer, hot water etc.... Cleaning products ,toilet paper ,Zewa were provided. Tea ,coffee pods, oil,vinegar ,sugar,salt all there . Furnishings also very good everything you need simply bed is super comfortable everything together top with star* you can also say exemplary run apartment. We were with two dogs in Jochen's accommodation. The surroundings are fantastic, you can explore great hiking trails directly from the apartment and for holidays with a dog, this apartment and the location are a dream. The apartment is very large and well equipped, nothing is missing. The bed is super comfortable and the quiet location gives you a very relaxing and good sleep. Unfortunately, we did not meet Jochen himself, but his wife is very, very nice and we felt right at home. We would definitely book this accommodation again if we were drawn in that direction again.

The stay was great, we felt very comfortable! It is a bit cold in the lock, but it could be heated in all rooms with a fireplace and there were hot water bottles :-) Really an absolute oasis of well-being. The garden with grill and fireplace is amazing and great for cozy campfire evenings :-)

We spent an extended weekend with our dog at Wilma's and were super satisfied. We felt very comfortable in Wilma's special, lovingly furnished house and spent relaxed and slow days. We especially liked the proximity to nature with the dog, the surroundings are really tranquil and there are great walking paths. Wilma described everything very accurately and made sure that we felt very welcome. We will definitely be back, thanks!

Beautiful accommodation that invites you to relax. You have everything you need and both the rooms themselves and the equipment is very well maintained and clean. The contact with Carolin was always friendly and accommodating. Even before arrival, she sent us a lot of information and recommendations and she responded quickly and kindly to questions or concerns during the stay. The location is perfect for hiking and there is always something to see in the surrounding areas. We were very enthusiastic and would be happy to come back.

Very nice spacious accommodation, lovingly and thoughtfully furnished, cozy and quiet. Above all, the large living space with an open kitchen, which had everything you need for relaxed cooking on vacation, was very inviting. The sauna for free use and a balcony with afternoon sun have rounded everything off nicely. Once you arrive, you can easily explore the area on foot, you are in the forest in a few minutes and can start hiking or go towards the village and stroll through the spa park to the monastery ruins and eat ice cream in the ice cream cafe. For us with a small child, the nearby playground was also great. Bakers and shops are also within walking distance in 10-15 minutes. The hosts were extremely nice and always easily accessible. When we forgot things on departure, they were sent very nicely and easily. Thank you again. Overall, absolutely recommended for a few nice relaxing days in a great environment.
