De boerderij ( twee onder één kap) is gebouwd in 1900. Het voorhuis heeft veel authentieke details behouden. Het voorhuisje met een zit-slaapkamers biedt u rust en ruimte in een landelijke omgeving . Wij wonen in het achterhuis. Ideaal voor fietsers en wandelaars. Slechts 3 km van Steenwijk centrum en 3.9. km van het NS station. Dichtbij Giethoorn, de Weerribben en Hunebedden in het natuurgebied Holtingerveld. The Colony of Frederiksoord, listed on UNESCO world heritage, is only 6.5 km away.

The cottage has 2 bedrooms (1x 2 persons and 2x 1 person bed). There is another 5th bed (1 pers.) on the hall upstairs. Please let us know if you would like to use a sheet package (bedding & towels). Surcharge is €10,00 p.p. The renovated bathroom makes the cottage a luxurious place to enjoy the peace, space and nature.

A beautiful wooden house located in my parents' yard. Relax in an oasis of greenery from spring to early autumn, a beautiful warm autumn feel when the trees change color or seek out the coziness in the winter months. In the beautiful surroundings there are many places to visit. Giethoorn, fortified city of Steenwijk and the Havelterheide. Furthermore, there are three national parks nearby, NP Weerribben Wieden, the Drents Friese Wold and the Dwingelderveld.

'Ons Stulpje' is a complete, separate appartment with a comfortable kingsize boxspring bed, rain shower and complete kitchen. The jacuzzi can be booked separately (€30 per 2 h timeslot). The (shared) pool can be used in Summer. The airbnb is situated in the quiet countryside town Blankenham, close to tourist attractions like Giethoorn, Blokzijl, Steenwijk and National Park Weerribben-Wieden and Pantropica, Urk, and UNESCO Schokland.

Sleep in a nice king-size bed from where you also can watch movies on a large projection screen. The residence has large patio doors to the courtyard & has its own entrance and a free parking space in the yard.

Idyllic cottage to yourself in Giethoorn

This cute white cottage with a thatched roof is like from a fairy tale book! As if you really live in authentic Giethoorn. (North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. Without hordes of tourists. (South). Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.

On the edge of National Park Weerribben-Wieden, our holiday home is located on the meadows. Enjoy nature and silence, but also a perfect base to explore the Weerribben-Wieden. The towns of Kalenberg, Blokzijl, Giethoorn and Dwarsgracht are within cycling distance. Or rent a little boat to see the Weerribben from the water.
