Das Ortszentrum von Sand in Taufers ist zu Fuß in 5 Minuten erreichbar, die Reinbacher Wasserfälle sind etwa 20 Gehminuten entfernt, ebenso die Burg Taufers. The Mühlwalder Tal (Italian: Valle dei Molini) is a 16 km long mountain valley with lush mountain forests, rushing mountain streams and fresh mountain air - a true paradise for those seeking relaxation, nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. In the middle of it all, in an idyllic secluded location on the slope of the mountains, is the Hochgruberhof with its own cheese dairy. The two-storey chalet "Chalet Henne - Hochgruberhof" is built of natural materials and measures 70 m2.

Large cozy traditional apartment on the first floor in the mountains. 1 min walk to the bus (ski bus in winter) and by bus you can reach 2 ski resorts within 5-10 min (Kronplatz 30 min). Families or groups of friends are always welcome, we have a beautiful garden and a beautiful view of the mountains. Sights easily accessible by bus (Burgtaufers, Nativity Museum, Mining Museum, Climate Tunnel, Mineral Museum...) and there are also many hiking trails that we recommend
