If you've ever dreamed of staying in a gorgeous villa, nestled high in the mountains, with incredible views of Lake Como then Villa Nina is the place for you. Claudio and Maria are incredibly kind and responsive to all inquiries - they made us feel right at home. The benefit of being further from the hustle and bustle of Varenna (approx 6-8 min drive) is that you can experience a truly local experience. I opened my window each morning to incredible views with sounds of the beautiful stream nearby. Some of the amenities (veranda, pool) are shared but this was not an issue for our family. We were able to enjoy everything on the property. The villa itself is well-appointed with everything you need for your stay. We traveled as a family of four (2 adults, 1 teenager, 1 older child) and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. We look forward to our next stay at Villa Nina!

This is the second time we've lived in this wonderful apartment. It is a masterpiece in the true sense of the word and is located in the hidden gem of Lake Como in the village of Riuzzenko It's a perfect match to the pictures. The historic village is very quiet and you do not hear the noise of cars because they pass through the tunnel The view is the most amazing ever. We enjoy sitting at the window every day and having breakfast or drinking coffee There's a small beach down there. There is also a wonderful hidden beach nearby There is a small grocery store upstairs with all the basic needs and you will find some local cheeses Alessandro was wonderful, understanding and responsive and gave us useful tips We will definitely always return to where there is beauty, relaxation and tranquility Thank you Alessandro

Great accommodation near Menaggio, but far from the tourist hustle and bustle. The view of the accommodation is breathtaking and a little extra for the pool. The apartment is very well equipped and Paola is responsive. No complaints :)

We had a very nice stay in Claudio's apartment. The communication beforehand was clear and well-organized. Claudio sent clear instructions and useful videos, making it very easy to find the location and enter the apartment. The apartment itself was neat, clean and had plenty of space for two people. The location is really perfect – you can go anywhere and are close to everything. We would definitely recommend this stay and would love to come back. Thank you, Claudio!

Lovely setting and within a short walk to Lake Como and the stunning views. Stayed only one night but found a local grocery store, a fabulous bar and a lovely restaurant on the lake, all within walking distance. Thanks for a nice stay and being flexible about our check out, very kind.

The place itself is very comfortable and had everything you need. The view of lake Como is stunning and location was great. Easy walk to shops, bus and ferry station. Denis is very proactive and helped us with finding another accommodation due a mix up of dates on our behalf. Would highly recommend to stay at this lovely apartment.

Easily the best Air BnB experience I have ever had. Rosa Katherine is tremendously kind and a true super-host. My wife and I eloped in Bellagio during our time here and Rosa made sure we had all of the necessary accommodations. The place is peaceful and luxurious with breathtaking views better than the pictures. You will definitely want a vehicle - we rented a Vespa from Roberto at Varenna Vespa Rent. It was simple and allowed us to wisp in and out of all the little lake towns and ride into the mountains a bit. The bed is super comfortable and the AC worked great, we had very high temps one day and it kept up fantastically. On top of being an incredible host - Rosa Katherine was genuinely eager to make sure that we were always taken care of with a deep level of hospitality.

What a wonderful apartment. The pictures do not do it justice. The views of the lake, its close proximity to the town centre, Stefeno as a host made this one of our most memorable and enjoyable stays! Stefeno met us at the dock when we arrived and even met us for coffee when we left. Truely a Super Host

Truly spectacular - one of the best views I've enjoyed from any accommodation ever. The home inside was also perfect for a short term stay for two people - super cozy and very clean. Communications from the hosts before and during our stay were great. The home is a little bit further outside of the city then we realized when looking at the map (~15 minute drive up the hill) so take advantage of the restaurant recommendations nearby! Agriturismo Zertin was fantastic

A perfect stay! We loved the apartment, it was so beautifully decorated and well located. A perfect location to the restaurants and lake. A wonderful host with great recommendations and communication. The place itself was great, lots of nice restaurants and the public beach was lovely. 10/10 stay!

It was a great choice to stay - not only Alessia is a great host - but also the place is perfect if you want to enjoy peaceful time and have walkable access to the centre. Please feels like home due to carefully selected amenities and materials used. Alessia is going an extra mile in being a host - she helps with arrival and departure, gives local tips that one would not know otherwise! Very nice stay with a beautiful view. The host was helpful and welcoming. I especially recommend the apartment with the garden – it’s a lovely place to relax.

Pietro’s apartment was the perfect spot for our holiday in Lake Como. It’s super well kept, cute, equipped, and had great views of the lake. It’s also a very peaceful location and conveniently next to one of the best meals we had in Italy (Hosteria del Platano). It was a short, beautiful walk to Varenna where we could get to the ferry. Very beautiful apartment in equally beautiful location with a view on the Como lake. All photos exactly correspond to the reality. The apartment is quiet at night and the city doesn’t attract too many tourists, which was pleasant after visiting the city of Como. Apartment is easily found, however may be harder to access for families with kids in trolleys, elderly or people with disabilities. Otherwise absolute recommendation! Thank you for hosting us!

Franceso was an absolute incredible host. He was extremely helpful, quick to respond, and provided lots of tip/tricks/recommendations for traveling around and enjoying Lake Como. The place was super nice and modern with all the amenities listed (for anyone worried about AC, it worked quickly and was more than enough to cool it). Outside, the view was absolutely stunning and it was so peaceful and quiet at night (it is a very quiet area in general which was a plus...absolutely no tourist noise or traffic). With it being in a quiet area, I do have to prewarn it is up on a hillside that requires walking up steep hills and some staircases (when arriving, you will definitely want to have some way of being dropped off at the door if you have large, heavy baggage), but it is worth the climb. :) All in all, I couldn't recommend this place enough for anyone, especially couples, who want a beautiful, quiet place to stay and enjoy on Lake Como.

The apartment was very clean! The location is perfect, you are within 1 minute of the lake. The garden is very nice for breakfast. Lella was very friendly! We had a perfect stay! Highly recommended!

This family stay went extremely well; we enjoyed Luca's accommodation, which perfectly matched the description. The charm asset: the spa and the jacuzzi with a breathtaking view of the lake 😍 A big thank you to the co-hosts Andrea and Carla for their kindness and responsiveness in the exchanges before, during and after our stay. Super helpful and clear communication. The Airbnb is exactly as shown, beautiful view from the balcony. Location is secluded however and hard to reach places unless you have hired a car. So just a tip for future visitors- hire a car :)

Best accommodation in our entire Italy trip. The place was tastefully decorated and Dana obviously took pride in hosting! Her hospitality went above and beyond and the place was very comfortable. Quiet and great place, the apartment was as described in the advertisement. We were 6 adults who had a great week in the apartment with great views. We rented bikes from @Bike it! Bellagio, very good service here too. Nice to cycle to experience new places, the ferry from Bellagio went to both sides of the lake and was easily accessible 😊
