Farmstay holiday rentals in Africa

An oasis away from the busy centre of Marrakech. The views were amazing from the gardens and pool, we loved sitting out there in the evenings. A local lady cooked for us and it was lovely, I’d recommend booking it. It was about 30/40 mins from the centre however, we didn’t have a car and were out in touch with a local taxi driver who was reliable and had a good rate. My young daughter loved the goats at the end of the garden and the tortoises roaming around. The village was peaceful and locals friendly. The local shop doesn’t sell much so I’d recommend stopping at the supermarket in the city before arriving.

Super Hôte, nous avons été très bien accueillis, Candy est très gentille et réactive. L'endroit est paisible, très coloré et dans les beaux jours nous pouvons apercevoir le Teide depuis la maison !! La maison est propre, on a des couvertures et des peignoirs à disposition, ainsi que des fruits, café, thé...!! Je recommande vivement cet endroit !

Colettes place was exactly what we needed to get away from the city's hustle and bustle. It was so peaceful. There were so many toys my daughter could play with and very child friendly which I appreciate. The place was clean and very neat. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.

What an absolute privilege this past month has been. The cottage has everything you could possibly need—and then some. The views are even more breathtaking in person than they appear in the photos, and the hosts went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our stay was perfect. It truly felt like home. Definitely one of our all-time favorite Airbnbs.

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön und der Ausblick mindestens genauso so schön wie auf den Bildern ! Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und haben uns sehr gefreut, das man auch in der Wohnung kochen konnte. Es war sehr schön ruhig und daher perfekt zum runterkommen :). Supermärkte und Restaurants, sowie der Strand waren fußläufig erreichbar. Jurga war super freundlich und war sehr gut erreichbar .

Jo's place is a peaceful escape from the city. Beautiful surroundings and lovely accommodation made our stay most enjoyable. Jo was a friendly and responsive host. We would definitely recommend Jo's place and look forward to returning.

Wow! I don’t even know where to start. The stay at Villa Amira was nothing short of incredible. It’s a beautiful house with a stunning Nile view and a courtyard with a private pool that is perfect for cooling off in the heat. We booked our driver, guide, and chef through Amira and it was by far our best experience in Egypt. Our guide, Z, was incredibly knowledgeable in Egyptology and was able to answer every question we had! We asked him to take us to his little coffee shop after a day of exploring Luxor (Elio Workshop & Cafe, go support the locals ☺️)! We had a private chef, Abdul, make such delicious meals every afternoon and evening and each one was better than the last! Lastly, Sonbol was a great host at the villa and helped us with everything we needed! I cannot say enough good things about this stay! It was the highlight of our trip!

Giannis est un hôte très investi, réactif et discret. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil avec une pâtisserie (très bonne!), les oranges dans le frigo ainsi que les boissons mises à disposition. L'environnement est très agréable et la situation est idéale au calme mais proche de la promenade avec les restaurants. En cas de questions, Giannis a toujours été disponible ainsi que pour nous faire des recommandations. Le logement est tout à fait conforme à la description. Cependant, il ne faut pas être trop grand pour la partie nuit et la salle de bain mais sinon tout était très bien !

The place was super clean and felt nice, Noa was very responsive and made sure we always had what we needed and wanted. It looks exactly like the pictures and it was just what we needed.

A wonderful experience at a beautiful plot of land with direct access to the Volta river. The tent is spacious and the design is quirky. Rosita and Myles have traveled extensively, and it shows in their attention for the details that matter: bedsheets, nice soaps, help when needed, proper portions of fresh food. You could get outdoor active in a kayak or just lounge in a hammock.

Beautiful farmhouse with amazing views & impeccable interior layout. We thoroughly enjoyed the wood fired hot tub (swimming pool) and the star filled night sky. The bed was amzingingly comfortable and the bathroom really feels homely. The fire pit outside really set this lovely cabin out from any others we have been to. Coupled with the morning greatings from the natural wildlife just set this place close to our hearts and counting down our days till we return.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Was a lovely and peaceful! Kristina was a great host & was responsive. The cottage was as described. The Beer Garden is also just a quick walk from the cottage & has some really good burgers.

Tarik y su familia son persona agradables, amables, serviciales y sociables. Me encantó hospedarme con ellos, en cada momento estuvieron al pendiente de mí. Su casa es acogedora y cómoda, definitivamente un lugar lindo para relajarse y conocer Luxor.

René und ihre Familie waren sehr freundlich und äußerst hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft und die Gegend ist ein Traum.

We had a fantastic time at Torre Bella Gardens. The grounds are lovely, with lots of places to sit and enjoy a book and some sun. We were sent a comprehensive catalog of things to do on the island and enjoyed many of the recommendations. We would happily stay again, thank you!

Unser Aufenthalt bei Lourdes war fantastisch. Leo hat uns sehr gut betreut und die Kommunikation war sehr gut. Wir haben tolle Tipps und Restaurants Vorschläge erhalten. Die Villa ist ein Schmuckstück, umgeben von einem tollen Garten, mit Avocadobäumen, Bananen Stauden und Blumen. Wir hatten manchmal das Gefühl in Asien zu sein. Der beheitzte Pool hat das Ganze noch abgerundet. Trotz der Nähe zur Schnellstraße, ist es so ruhig und idyllisch. Die Küche ist seht gut ausgestattet. Bett und Kissen waren sehr bequem. Eine sehr schöne Villa, die toll Eingerichtet ist. Wir können die Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Virkelig et dejligt sted - roligt og smukt beliggende. Eugenia kom forbi og hilste os velkommen, og sikrede at alt var som det skulle være. Naboen, svigermor Rosa, kom i løbet af de 2 uger vi var på stedet, forbi med små egnsretter, oliven og oste. Poolen var ren og velholdt, ligesom haven var skøn og frodig. Huset ligger oppe på bjerget og dejligt afsides, så vi anbefaler at man lejer en bil, så man kan komme til og fra stedet. Vi giver stedet vores varmeste anbefalinger.

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön an einer sehr ruhigen Lage mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht. Es war alles sauber und mit Liebe eingerichtet damit man sich ab dem ersten Moment nur wohlfühlen kann. Es hatte alles was man braucht, auch super fanden wir die vielen Küchenuntensilien und der Grill, den wir jeden Tag benutzten. Die Terrasse mit Whirpool,Lounge,Liegen und Tisch waren das Highlight. Wir verbrachten viel Zeit in der Unterkunft, weil wir uns so wohl gefühlt haben. Der Strand Calheta ist 5min mitem Auto einfach zu erreichen und sehr empfehlenswert. Auch fanden wir den Privatparkplatz super. Bruno und Maria sind sehr zuvorkommend und fragten auch nach wie es uns geht und ob wir etwas brauchen. Die Lage war für uns perfekt, sehr ruhig, viel privatsphäre und doch gelangen wir mitem Auto überall hin. Vielen herzlichen Dank an Bruno und Maria. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Konstantinos’s place is perfect. The location is beautiful and only a short drive to some of best beaches we have ever been to. The pool is so lovely and surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. I have never had a shower with such a good view! I wouldn’t change a thing and would recommend to anyone.

The Loft Room – A Stunning Gem! What an absolutely stunning and well-equipped self-catering Airbnb! My partner and I absolutely adored our stay. Trish and John were the perfect hosts – warm, welcoming, and attentive without ever being intrusive. The property itself is breathtaking, and we were lucky enough to spot some wildlife during our visit, which made the experience even more special. The Loft was cozy, homey, and wonderfully quiet – the perfect place to relax, reset, and unwind. Everything was spotlessly clean and clearly very well maintained. In our opinion, it’s one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed in so far in South Africa. We’re already planning our return trip – highly recommended!

This is our second year in a row staying at this beautiful Airbnb, and we hope to make it an annual tradition!

I was attracted to this accommodation because of the tree house appeal. And it did not disappoint. It is beautifully appointed, beautifully made of reclaimed wood and has everything you need in its compact space. So many lovely little touches. Each evening it was a joy to get back and sit on the balcony. I highly recommend it.
