Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Agia Marina

The place was great. Location was perfect for us: close to some true gems food wise, beaches, wineries, etc. We loved it. We stayed 1 week, so we truly got a chance to enjoy it. Was also able to yoga in the morning with a view on the olive trees. All the little attentions made us feel welcomed.

The stay at the hillside home was everything and more. The treats in the morning were a delight and the view was incredible. The host was quick to respond when we had any questions, and provided us with parking and recommendations to eat that were very close by. The parking and maneuvering around the streets may be tricky for some, so recommend renting a smaller compact vehicle. Everything ( beach, restaurants, grocery stores) is within a 5 min walk from the bnb!

We really enjoyed our stay at this vacation home. The location is quiet and offers a great view of the sea – perfect for unwinding. The house is tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need. The landlords were friendly and helpful and made the stay pleasant. All in all, a nice house for a relaxing beach vacation.

We were extremely pleased with our stay at Ioanna and Theo’s lovely house! We were received & treated throughout our stay like honoured guests . The place is beautiful, romantic, streamlined & yet very well equipped with what one might need, it has a gorgeous view, great WiFi! We appreciated having coffee capsules for our morning coffee, water, wine, laundry and dishwasher soap, olive oil, salt pepper and other essentials, jam, tea, even beach towels were provided! 🙏No one wants to arrive to their AirBnb after a long, tiring trip and go shopping for basics. 😫Their whole approach of this charming couple is to make their guests’ stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible! We really like views and this house has one of the best ones we have ever seen! For views, in Greece, one must usually navigate narrow uphills, but to us it was absolutely worth it! The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The place was super clean and everything well maintained. Just felt right at home with an amazing view, great beds and a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Four of us, two couples, spent a very enjoyable week at Roula's stone cottage. A special and stunning location and suspect a rare opportunity to spend time in a traditional style house in a rural cretan mountain village. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. May be better suited to a family stay as the downstairs room has no separate access to bathroom. We enjoyed the peaceful location immensely- great to getup and have breakfast outside with the fresh air and distant sound of goat bells. We travelled to Chania or the beaches along the coast every day and certainly didn't find the village too remote to do so. Nearby Tavernas and gorge walk are a must. Roula, along with her mother, were always quick, helpful and generous when questions were asked and supplied us with eggs and oranges and some home cooked food. Surely one of the best hosts I've experienced on airbnb. Would gladly return.

Our stay in the apartment was perfect. The place was clean and had all the amenities listed online. We were able to park near the apartment which meant we could explore all of the local beaches and visit the old town. The apartment was located 10m from the beach, ideal for a early morning swim. We would love to stay at Georgia's place again :)

Very pleasant stay. Impeccable apartment and very responsive and welcoming host. The only small downside is the noise that can be heard in the courtyard (people hanging out in the evening), we had this 1 night out of the 2 that we spent in this apartment. Otherwise everything is perfect, we recommend it!

Maria is a fantastic host. She met my husband and me at the bus stop and showed us around the apartment and neighborhood, giving us recommendations for dining and things to do. Her apartment is located in the heart of Old Town just steps away from the waterfront, great restaurants (we especially loved Tamam), and shopping. She stocked the apartment with everything we'd need for our visit, including beach towels, breakfast items, candy, guidebooks, and more. The apartment itself is cozy and comfortable in a charming building. Despite a decent amount of foot traffic nearby, it was quiet at night. We had the best sleep of our 10-day trip to Greece during our three-night stay. I can't recommend Maria's place enough for a visit to Chania!

Quite simply one of the best places I’ve stayed on AirBnB, which is over a long time. The place is just about perfect, relaxed atmosphere, calm gardens - great cottage with superb views. A pool that they take great pride in (especially Nikolas’s father - and rightly so. He seemed genuinely upset when Sahara sand blew over but diligently went about getting it back to his exceptionally high standard). We arrived late, about 10:30 to a warm welcome and the chef happy to make us anything from the menu, the food is as good as anywhere locally. Very considered, well presented and served with genuine love. Everyone wanted to check my children were happy, and that all was well. Take a car so you can explore the beaches on the west of the island and we took a yacht for a day trip from Chania harbour, which was excellent fun. Really very good place Nikolas has built, his father - who is always around - is proud of his son and daughter, and I understand entirely why.

This place is truly special. We enjoyed our time here so much. George’s parents-George and Alexandra were the best! Always a warm and friendly greeting. They were so kind and helpful. Their dog was also super sweet. They really made us feel at home. The place was great. Very comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay. The view was to die for!! Just spectacular. Every morning waking up and looking out the window made you feel such a sense of peace. The location was fabulous. Close to so many wonderful restaurants and the most beautiful beaches. In case you can’t tell, we totally loved our stay. You will not be disappointed with this lovely little gem. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Sifi’s. He is easy going, responsive and provided great recommendations. The apartment is beautiful, modern and we felt very comfortable with our stay. Sadly our visit was short since there are plenty to see and do that we didn’t get to do but I would book this place again if we come back.

We had the best time staying at Tanja’s amazing studio. From the second we arrived, we were struck by the beautiful landscape of flowers and orange trees. The pool and patio were so peaceful and the studio was incredible clean and accommodating. The highlight of the stay was Tanja’s excellent recommendations of beaches, tavernas, and excursions. She was both incredibly friendly and communicative. We’d definitely stay again.

Beautiful apartment decorated with taste, terrace with impressive sea view and in a peaceful neighborhood. Within walking distance of good restaurants and the beach, very well located for holidays in western Crete. We were left with a variety of basic supplies (cooking oil, olive oil, bananas, croissants, condiments and spices), a worthy reminder of Greek hospitality. Excellent communication with Katerina.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The host and co-host were always reachable and answered our questions quickly and were very friendly. The apartment was clean and quite pleasant :) We were within walking distance to several beaches and great restaurants as well as grocery stores and a bus line into the city of Chania, which also made it easier to reach the airport without much trouble.

This is an amazing apartment. It is very spacious, well furnished and clean with a proper well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and a huge balcony with an incredible view. Dimitris was a very kind host. He arranged taxi transfers for us, gave us information about buses and recommendations for places to eat. The apartment was in a quiet area but it was only a 5 minute walk to the beach, tavernas and shops. The bus to Chania stopped at the end of the road and was 2 euros a trip. We were really pleased that the 2 trips (booked through io tours)we wanted to do to (the Samaria gorge and a trip to Knossos) picked us up from the end of the road too so it is in an ideal location. Our host was very careful for details, kitchen had all necessary stuff, fridge, etc. everything was clean. Host gift us welcoming gifts and that was lovely ❤️. Nice location, beach is close and you can go to supermarket in 10min on bus. And 25 min to Chania, bus stop is near. Living there was a pleasure.

This is absolutely our favorite Airbnb that we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in a lot). The place is adorable. Katerina is very responsive and lives right by the apartment. The view is wonderful, and both the living room and twin bedroom have doors that open onto that view. It has everything you need and more, with Katerina providing treats and even cereal and milk for that first morning. The air conditioning worked well, but there is also a lovely breeze from the sea. There are tons of restaurants and cafes just below the apartment as well as with 5 and 10 minutes walk in Old Town. It would be comfortable for a couple and a third person (such as a child) or two people, each with their own room. The washing machine was great to have, and you can dry clothes on the lines off the balcony. We did not want to leave.

Eleni is an excellent host: flexible, accommodating, and immediate replies. The accommodation is very nice, causey, modern, and it offers all a couple could need. It is value for money, and we highly recommend it.

The place was perfect. It was clean and had everything we needed. It's very close to the beach and there are many shops nearby. The host Alkis was very polite and always answers within minutes if we needed anything. He went out of his way to help us when we needed a hand. Not to mention that he offered us a drive to the bus station.

Room was clean, modern, simple and comfortable with everything a person needs.

We had a great stay at Nikos' place. The view is incredible, you'll want to spend your days on the balcony! The bedding is comfortable, and there is everything available to have a very good stay. Nikos was very welcoming and discreet, he recommended a place to park easily and reach the center of Chania on foot, which was very convenient! In short, we really enjoyed our vacation in this accommodation and recommend it 100%. Thank you Nikos!

From the start, Sia and her husband were very warm and welcoming. At check-in, they walked us through the apartment, which looked exactly like the photos. The view is fantastic from the front balcony. Everything was very clean. Loved that there were electronic blinds for most windows. We rented a car and there was a parking spot available for us in Sia's garage. We did find the bed a bit too hard for our tastes (to each their own!), and we sometimes had trouble with the wifi dropping in the main bedroom. Overall, we loved Sia's place and would stay there again!
