Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Ahwahnee

Very nice and clean. Game room was lots to do for adults and children. Hot tub was a bonus very relaxing . House has a lot of accommodations for little ones which was another big bonus. I’d say a 5 star and highly recommend for a large family very spacious and lots to do especially out door nature as a family was really enjoyable. Host was very friendly and responded very quickly. Thanks for the great stay! Very lovely home.

Tchukon and Carolyn’s home was great! We were a group of 7 and the space fit us all well. Extremely clean, I think the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The hosts were responsive and included lots of helpful information for the house. Backyard is wonderful, and we all really enjoyed the hot tub, especially at sunset. Would absolutely recommend staying here.

The house in Oakhurst is absolutely beautiful, spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The rooms are large and the views from both the living room and the master bedroom are to die for. Even if you’re not into hiking, just enjoying those views is a treat in itself. We caught a beautiful sunset on our first evening as we had spent most of the day hiking for the remaining days. The house had everything we needed and we really appreciated the thoughtful touch of a complimentary bottle of wine. The hosts were also incredibly responsive and helpful throughout. One small note for those visiting from outside the US: the road leading to the house is quite dark at night due to minimal street lighting. That said, it felt completely safe and wasn’t a concern for us. Also, the house is about 1.5 hours from Yosemite Valley so it’s helpful to plan your day trips accordingly.

We loved staying at Courtneys place. It was very clean and well maintained. The ambience was simply great too.

My family and I had an amazing time at this beautifully secluded gem. The home was spotless and fully stocked. We enjoyed our morning coffee by the rivers edge and evening stargazing each day. So peaceful and mesmerizing! There are plenty of hiking trails nearby, and this home is very close to Yosemite NP. Tina was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making our experience smooth from beginning to end. Some incredible memories were made and we look forward to staying here again. Thank you for the unforgettable getaway!

Yelena is a great host! She was great about communicating with us with any questions that we had and very helpful with any changes we needed to make. She checked in with us to make sure everything was as good. We enjoy staying here at the Playhouse. The house is big and spacious. The view was amazing!

This place is on another level of beauty and privacy. Showed up. Gate was open. The ac was already on. Place was spotless. Ice maker full with ice (huge win!!) Sit on the deck and just take in the best view around. I gotta to hang for a few min at club red. The kayak around the lake was amazing. This is a top notch compound. Incredible the paradise they have built in the middle of nowhere!! Only negative was I had to leave. Thanks Joyce and tony for your hospitality. I will be back!!!

Such a beautiful place to stay!! We loved being able to stay here and be able to drive up to Yosemite for day trips! The hosts were super friendly as well.

The cabin in Oakhurst was very quiet and peaceful. The patio was especially nice. Charlotte was super helpful and a great host. It was the perfect location for spending a few days in Yosemite.

A charming and cozy private studio! It felt warm and welcoming, just like home. The setup was well thought out, and the bed was very comfortable. The host provided great local recommendations during our stay. Would definitely book again!

Susan was an absolutely amazing host and it honestly felt like home to me being there and being able to bring my 2 cats as well. She had great recommendations and nose the area very well . Susan was always responsive, and we even hung out a good bit as she introduced me to her main hiking group in the area which really made my weekend even better 💯 Highly recommend staying here, especially if you are a nomadic wanderer, and remote worker) like me. It’s a quiet/peaceful place in the countryside with lots of farm animals around, accompanied with beautiful sunrises. Learned about a lot of local hiking spots in the area and navigating the twisty roads around, which was fun. 10 out of 10 would stay here again and can’t wait to come back! Phil and Lisa's place is such a gem. The best part about the property was the outdoor space. We enjoyed having breakfast on the patio and walking through the gardens in the morning. We had everything we needed and Lisa and Phil were extremely friendly and very responsive. They gave us great recommendations on things to do in the area and were quick to respond anytime we needed something. It was the perfect place to stay for our group of four exploring Yosemite and Sequoia. Highly recommend!

This was a great place to spend the night on our trip in the Sierra Nevada. Mariposa's a cute town (check out the ice cream shop a block from this apartment!) and Courtney's apartment was perfect for us; we'd happily stay again.

We had the most amazing Father’s Day weekend at this beautiful cabin! From start to finish, everything was perfect — from the warm and thoughtful host to the breathtaking surroundings. This place truly felt like a hidden gem. The cabin had that true rustic charm we were hoping for, yet still had all the comforts of home. The lofts were such a unique touch — my grandkids absolutely loved them! It added a fun, cozy element that made their stay even more memorable. One of the highlights for our family was the separate suite outside the main home. It gave us a peaceful bit of privacy and was especially helpful for my grandson who is autistic. Having a quiet space where he could unwind and feel comfortable meant the world to us. The setting was stunning — serene, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. Whether we were sitting outside enjoying the view, laughing around the table, or just soaking in the quiet, it gave us everything we needed to relax and reconnect as a family. Huge thank you

This Airbnb was the perfect base for our Yosemite trip! Just over an hour from the park with a beautiful scenic drive. We loved the cozy fireplace and comfy furniture after long days of hiking. Jennifer was super responsive and is really a good host. Highly recommend.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin! The home itself was cozy, clean, and perfectly located for exploring Yosemite—but what truly made our trip unforgettable was the incredible hospitality of the hosts. They went above and beyond by welcoming our kids onto their ranch and teaching them all about the horses and goats. Our children absolutely loved getting to help feed and brush the animals—it was such a special experience they’ll never forget. We’re so grateful for the kindness and care the hosts showed throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway with thoughtful hosts and a little magic thrown in, this is the place. We hope to return one day!

Hanna’s cabin is absolutely beautiful!! We absolutely felt at home and felt very comfortable. The pictures look like exactly what you are getting. We bought our two kids and they loved it too. Hanna did have a ball (which our 1 1/2 year old loved) and a kids camping set (great for our 7 year old). They played with the camping set all weekend! Our daughter said we should definitely go back! Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t the greatest but our kids did get to play on the swing set the morning we checked out. The beds our extremely comfortable! Which is huge for my husband. Honestly, it was perfect for our family of 4. I couldn’t say enough great things! Hanna was great and responded very quickly! If you have kids, the Fresno Zoo is a must see! It’s about an hour and 20 minutes away. We are so happy we chose to stay at Hanna’s cabin. Thank you so much for letting us stay and being such a wonder host! Definitely check it out if you are heading this way!

This had been our favorite Airbnb of this entire trip!,, We loved their beautiful cabin in the woods. Beautiful kitchen, which had everything we needed to cook our own meals, that was so nice to work in. Wonderful surroundings that were fun to walk around and my kids ran and explored. Comfortable beds, laundry, nice shower and great instructional binder.

This might be our favorite Airbnb ever. I knew it was special from the listing but actually staying in the cottage was truly magical. There are so many little gems throughout the house and we loved exploring and discovering them. It has all the modern amenities we needed but in a “step back in time” type atmosphere. The summer blossoms outside make it seem like you’re in a magical fairy garden. We even had fresh strawberries from the strawberry patch! We felt so cozy and at home and will definitely be staying again when we’re in bass lake.

My husband daughter and I decided on a spontaneous trip to Yosemite and this was the perfect place for us! Super cute and cozy cabin with everything we needed to make our trip amazing. Will definitely be back!

The cabin is beautiful. It looks just like the pictures. Peaceful, clean, and convenient location for visiting Yosemite. Host is responsive and friendly. Had a wonderful stay and hope to be back someday!
