The cabin is located right on a lake with swimming and fishing opportunities. You have a panoramic view of the water and the Gausta peak from the living room. The cabin is only 8 km from Bø Sommerland and 20 km from Lifjell winterland.Approximately 5 km from the cabin you will find Grønkjær ski resort with great cross country slopes. The location right between Bø and Notodden offers opportunities for shopping and restaurants. In the summer it is possible to rent the canoe ( in sharing with my other cabin in the area) for NOK 350,- per day.

Cozy house with old atmosphere Idyllically located by the Telemark Canal between Vrangfoss and Lunde locks. Here you live close to the canal where the canal boats drive past daily during the summer months. In winter, there are great ski tracks in the area. The house is built together with a newer house, separated via a large hall. Guests currently have the entire place for themselves. Short distance to nice places/activities; Lifjell, Bø Sommarland, Svenseid Alpakka, Øvreverk handverkstun, several locks, great bike trails, etc.

Annex in Midt-Telemark

Cozy annex at Gvarv in Midt-Telemark municipality. The annex is located in beautiful surroundings with access to a jetty with swimming opportunities. Farm shop with bakery is the closest neighbor, who serves fresh baked goods every day outside of Mondays. Gvarv is centrally located to most attractions in Midt-Telemark and Nome, such as Bø Sommerland, Høyt and Lavt, Norsjø Kabelpark, Norsjø Golfpark and Telemark Canal. There is 1 bedroom+sofa bed Bedding can be rented for NOK 100 per set. Cleaning can be ordered for NOK 500.

We rent the brewery/firehouse on the farm with large lawn at their disposal. Here children can play, kick football, etc. The house has kitchen, living room, sauna and bathroom on the first floor. On the second floor there are two bedrooms with capacity for six people in total. The first bedroom has two single beds. This bedroom you have to go through to get to the second, which contains a double bed, and two single beds. The house is rural. Opportunities for many activities nearby !!

This unique place has its very own style. Use this place as a base while experiencing what the surrounding area has to offer with short drives, for example; Gygrestolen, ca 10 min. Lunde sluse, ca 10 min. Vrangfoss sluser, ca 15 min. Bø Sommarland, about 15 min. Norsjø holiday country, about 25 min. Norsjø Golfklubb, about 25 min. Lifjell, about 25 minutes with ski resorts and many ski slopes/peaks or just relax and use the nearby area's many nice places.

Small cabin on island

"Kjempehytta" is an Idyllic small cabin located on a beautiful island in Lake Toke in Bamble, Telemark. A perfect place to see the the starry night sky, and enjoy nature. In summer you can go swimming an fishing in the lake. To get to the island you need to padle a canoe. The canoe and two lifejackets are included in the rent. Cabin in the middle of everything Telemark has to offer. The cabin is centrally located on Jønnbu (Lifjell), but at the same time by a small water. Great hiking areas w/fishing waters, mountain peaks and marked hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. Lifjellstua (restaurant) is located 150 m from the cabin. Bø Sommarland and Høyt&Lavt 8-9 km away.
