Beach house holiday rentals in Alappuzha

Roy, Raji, Shruthi and Appu are a lovely family. They made us feel at home from the word go. we had asked for home cooked food as a special case and they served delicious food on the dot. They are excellent hosts and very meticulous and detail oriented. Roy is very knowledgeable about all the local highlights and places. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves a quiet, clean and secluded place right on a beach.

A great Kerala heritage place to stay at. Walkable distance from Maratikulam beach. Host made sure that we have a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend it to all :)

loved Neela waters stay. Good things: beautiful location right on beach, spotless room and bathroom, friendly host and homely vibe, at last very tasty food. Improvements : would have been great if there was shampoo and body wash as well but still worth every penny. don't know if it's the off season or what but not many restaurants open around. Overall, nothing less than a 5 star!! would love to come back.

We had a great stay at Jacksons place, he is super communicative and friedly, and when we needed to leave earlier, he was very flexible with our plans changing.

Our stay at Sudheer’s place was absolutely fantastic! The accommodation was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Sudheer was a wonderful host—very responsive, helpful, and made sure we had a comfortable experience. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore the area. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to others

Stay in the center of Fort Kochi, so close to the port , kathakali presentation places, restaurants and shops in the heart of the small pleasant and charming old neighborhood. The 16th century house ( where Vasco de Gama passed, though!) is really still in its juice with very large spaces and volumes, with small terraces, kitchen,... available. George is really charming and attentive to your requests and explanations. He can also find you taxi (be careful to be confirmed the price before departure with the driver ) addresses for shows ,....

Beautiful 1950’s villa with a team of house staff led by Mr Cherian, who took care of everything including delivering amazing food from the sister hotel Eighth Bastion. Sumptuous breakfasts were provided at the hotel, or we could make our own with the provisions supplied (even our fussy 6 year old enjoyed the cornflakes and banana cake). Had a wonderful staycation, with daily music lessons at the Kerala Kathakali centre.

We had a wonderful time at Jesudas's place.He was extremely hospitable and was very flexible with the check in check out time. He gave a lot of local recommendations and helped us plan our itinerary. Mummy who stayed downstairs was warm and welcoming. Gave us a great cup of coffee and we had some great conversation with her. Such a sweet lady! Definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a cozy place near the Azhapuzha beach

Neil's place is lovely and it is situated in a great location with many sights within walking distance. The check-in went smoothly courtesy of the detailed instructions that Neil had provided.

I have never written a review for an Airbnb but this one deserves a special review. The host and his wife are one of the sweetest people I have ever met in my life. They take very good care of you, everyday they would call us to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. The wife is a great cook who’ll cook amazing local dishes. They own a small shop right down the Airbnb and let me tell you even when you buy something from there they won’t ask you to pay, so please do pay because they won’t ask you. Very sweet people and very polite. Now about the Airbnb, it is walkable distance from the beach. The beach is very clean with few people on it. Evening walks felt like it was our own private beach. There is also a very beautiful church nearby. The Airbnb was very clean and very pretty. It looks very aesthetic too, all my friends kept asking me where I was. A beautiful place run by equally amazing and kind hearted people.

Wonderful stay at Joseph´s place. Anthony - his help - was available to guide us through to the place. We were 10 of us in a tempo traveller and the road on which the house was - was a bit too small for the tempo. Apart from that all good. We had to park it 100 mts away - which was a minor thing. Overall a decent stay and value for money.

We really enjoyed our stay with Dominic. We had some initial difficulties at the beginning but were able to sort them out quickly and were very satisfied in the end. The location is perfect and really only a jump away from the beach. Dominic is a relaxed and nice guy who recommended a few local things and organised a kayak tour during sunrise.

Very welcoming people and place, helped us get an early checkin also.

Colbridge and his family give incredible value for money, particularly in their efforts to provide anything and everything the customer wants or needs. They are full of helpful information and go our of their way to provide any little special requests the guests might have. Their home is spotlessly clean and we can highly recommend the delicious breakfast served each day by the lovely Shalini, his charming wife, as well as the extra services of cleaning and laundry provided by their housekeeper, Shelby. We could not have been happier nor felt luckier. Highly recommended.
