Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Albany

Everything was as described. The ceiling is low and the shower head is low, but that's what I knew from beforehand. The place was clean and the host was responsive. Good choice if you just need a quiet stay for lower price.

This is a very conveniently located house, near the restaurants and shops of Solano Avenue and the Albany Hill Park, and very close to the Albany entrances to the freeways. The front of the house looks over the freeway to the bay with vistas to Marin, the Golden Gate Bridge, and San Francisco. While it is very close to the roads, the house is well sound-proofed. The bedrooms are especially quiet. The house is clean and recently renovated. All in all a good value.

Clean and comfortable spot with easy access to Wildcat Canyon Regional Park, perfect for biking, running, or hiking. Host communication was smooth. Overall, a solid option.

I booked this place for my mom and brother who were visiting the Bay Area for a week. The cottage is located behind the host’s house. It looked just like the photos, with clean bathroom (with hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash), kitchen (with basic kitchenwares and full fridge), comfortable queen size bed, and living room with futon and a large TV. I noticed that the house is conveniently located near BART station, which made it easy for me to visit them even without a car. It’s right by I-80, 5 minutes walking distance 99 Ranch, and 15 minutes walking distance to the BART station. There are also lots of restaurants around the area. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area!

My stay at Reuvens Airbnb was very comfortable. All lights were labeled. The bed was comfortable. The shower was easy to use. All very clean. The kitchen was fully supplied. Lots of details in the setting made it easy to feel relaxed. It was quiet also. It is in easy walking distance to a supermarket and an avenue to walk down and enjoy. I recommend it for all around comfort.

This house was comfortable for 6 adults and 4 kiddos. Very convenient to have a driveway as the street is busy with very little parking. One small comment - more teaspoons would be helpful. There were only 5. With kids the large spoons didn’t work.

This is one of the nicest AirBnBs that we have stayed at. The spot was unique, in a fantastic walkable location, and extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with utensil needed and the outdoor space behind it was very relaxing and a pleasure to sit out in. Highly recommend this location if you are looking to stay in the area. Would book again if we are traveling to the location again.

Micky and Steven were very friendly and welcoming. They were responsive and accommodating. Their place was the perfect quiet sanctuary after busy days. Lots of things near by, yet had a cozy neighborhood vibe. I wish my schedule had been less hectic so I could spend time in their lovely garden. This place is a gem.

We enjoyed our stay at Renée's. It was in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of several restaurants and a grocery store. The place was spotless and the garden was beautiful. Communication was great and we appreciated the offer to check in early as we were driving around with luggage. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Jan’s place in Berkeley. The space was great for our trip. We absolutely loved the deck and hot-tub. We spent most evenings sitting out there for hours! You also can’t beat the views of the bay! Overall, such a wonderful stay, we would for sure go back and recommend to all our friends and family.

The location couldn’t have been more perfect—just a few blocks from our favorite Cheeseboard Collective Pizzeria and within easy walking distance to UC Berkeley. We were in town for a wedding and needed a family-friendly place nearby, and this home checked every box and more. The space was spotless and thoughtfully prepared. The bathroom was especially impressive—clean, well-stocked with soft towels, and featuring a beautifully laid-out shower and hot tub that made winding down in the evenings a true treat. The kitchen was pristine and fully equipped with everything we needed to enjoy meals during our stay. Traveling with little ones can be challenging, but this home made it easy. There was even a pack 'n play ready for our infant, which was such a thoughtful touch. The layout of the home was comfortable, cozy, and made our time there feel like a true home-away-from-home. Highly, highly recommend this stay to anyone visiting Berkeley

This was our 2nd time staying at Lili’s place. She was so kind to let us check in early so my husband could work remotely. The place is conveniently located to shops and restaurants.

The cozy casita was absolutely amazing. It was perfect for my weekend getaway. I had plans in emeryville it was very close. The details of the casita were well thought out. I felt the love that was put in. Would definitely stay again.

Very convenient location, easy walk to UC Berkeley. Even though it's near a busy intersection, it felt very quiet and peaceful. The unit is much more spacious than I was anticipating and it was nice to have a complete kitchen. Al is a very kind and responsive host. I would definitely recommend!

One of my favorite locations ive stayed in. Beautiful scenery! Beautiful home, comfortable bed! I'd love to live there! Only complain is the entrance to parking, if you have a low car, the bottom will scrape horrible if you dont hug the wall. and if youre staying downstairs, youll hear upstairs foot steps, but that was only 1 morning. besides those 2 complaints, its a excellent Beautiful home!

Amy met me to give me the keys and walked me through the condo to explain everything. It was a very personal approach. She also reached out to me the first morning to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Everything was spotless and very high end. The place was very quiet and peaceful. I especially enjoyed the patio. I would highly recommend Amy's place to anyone looking for a base to enjoy San Francisco. I intend to stay again the next time I need a place in San Francisco for a few days.

We had a fantastic time. The view was second to none, with easy access to the beach and restaurants. Kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. Great coffee shop within walking distance (albeit with a decent hill). We happened to stay when whales were just off the coast and saw them from the shore. Could not have asked for a better day. For those with mobility issues - you do need to climb about 10 narrow steps to get to the tram, which lets you skip the rest of the stairs. But there is no way around those first steps. Would absolutely come back.
