Stay in the old village schoolhouse

Our historic school building with wonderfully high ceilings and its thick sandstone walls offers plenty of space (about 130 square meters) for up to four people. It was lovingly ecologically renovated by us until 2013. Downstairs there is a large kitchen-living room, upstairs a cozy small bedroom and a large studio, which can also be used by artistically ambitious guests. From Gräfenhausen you can go directly to the Palatinate Forest by mountain bike or on foot. The nearest climbing rock is also a 20-minute walk. In the village there is a small restaurant with a village shop and a bakery (both directly opposite the house).

Our vacation home in Burrweiler is located on the edge of the Palatinate Forest on the Southern Wine Route in the middle of the chestnut forest on the Teufelsberg, at an altitude of 355 m, below the St. Anna Chapel. On the 1250 sqm fenced forest property there is a lookout with a distant view of the Rhine valley, a patio made of old oak trunks and a picnic bench. On this portal, we also offer our new "forest house with a dream view" for rent, also located in Burrweiler am Teufelsberg.

We had a few very nice days in the Palatinate. The cozy accommodation was as in the pictures. The reception at Gabi's was great. She was able to give us some tips for activities. We did not cook ourselves (although there was nothing lacking), as we preferred to be pampered in Gabi's restaurant. The stay is definitely recommended.

We felt comfortable at Margit's. The accommodation was clean and as described, Margit was accommodating and the location is very good for hiking. It's a few minutes' walk to the city, but that wasn't bad at all. Shopping facilities are in the immediate vicinity. We would come back for another short trip.
