Really nice place with a wonderful pool. It's fully equipped with cooking utensils and basic cooking materials which was highly appreciated! The house and bathroom was super clean. It's in a peaceful residential area. Its perfect for a weekend getaway. It's fully equipped with toys and beds for kids. The location is great. It's quite close to the train station which made it easy to get to. Julie is really nice and very responsive. We wanted to check in early which she readily accepted. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb!

Small touches with a few products from the country as soon as we arrive , a beautiful residence in a more than perfect environment... everything is planned in this accommodation . Great place to gather as a family . All 6 of us were seduced by this cottage that we recommend 200% . Ideally located just 10km from Albi . Thank you very much to Jean Pierre and his wife.

Impeccable accommodation: very clean, well equipped and perfectly located. The place is quiet, you can only hear the birdsong ,a real little corner of heaven. Parking is easy and secure, which is very nice. But what makes the stay really exceptional is Véronique's kindness and sympathy. I would recommend this place without hesitation. I had a wonderful stay with Pascale and her husband who are really lovely and welcoming people (just like their three German shepherds🥰). The place is perfect for relaxing, it's so quiet and peaceful... Then, being surrounded by so many animals brings a little company that warms the heart 🥰 The studio is very comfortable and cozy and you feel very good there! The pool is really a plus when it's hot 🙌🏽 I would come back with great pleasure without hesitation! Thank you again 🥰

A very nice discovery of this accommodation and very attentive and kind owners. a family available at all times. My 2-year-old daughter was entitled to her own small pool... before she surprised us and came to the big pool with us. 100% relaxing stay for my husband who really needed it. A peaceful and beautiful area. A pleasure to wake up every morning to go chat with the chickens and Sam the protective dog. We had a truly memorable stay at Karen and Laka’s beautiful home in the peaceful village of Varen, France. The location is ideal for exploring some of the most charming towns in the region - Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val, Najac, Cordes-sur-Ciel, Albi, and more are all within easy reach. The property itself is thoughtfully appointed, with a lovely private patio garden that opens up to a breathtaking meadow. The swimming pool is perfectly positioned to take in sweeping views of the countryside, forest, and even the village church tower - it’s the kind of peaceful backdrop that invites deep relaxation. Karen and Laka are warm, welcoming hosts who instantly make you feel at home. They offered fantastic local tips and recommendations, clearly sharing a strong connection to their community. Their genuine hospitality made the experience feel less like a rental and more like a second home. 10/10 we’d love to return and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an authentic French break.

We absolutely loved our stay at Chateaux de Jean. It was a heavenly 4 days on this beautiful estate and the accommodation has everything we needed. It was a dream come true to stay in a chateaux in France.

Seemingly conveniently located in the city center and quiet . Very well equipped, very clean, decorated with taste. Honestly I would recommend it. And Albi is a remarkable city. Really not disappointed with our weekend.

The stay was most enjoyable, the house perfectly matching the description provided in the listing. The region is splendid, although the weather conditions have not been favorable for long walks. We will certainly return when the sun is present. In addition, if you are traveling with your small dogs, a pleasant walk to consider is that of the chemin du lavoir in Montans, lasting about an hour to an hour and a half, ideal for both dogs and their owners.

We had a very good stay at Julie and Cyrill’s place. The apartment is comfortable and beautifully decorated, with everything we needed. We were travelling as a couple and with my mother-in-law, and the host had kindly prepared the sofa bed for her – it was very comfortable, just like a proper bed. The main bed was also excellent. The kitchen is well equipped and everything is functional. The location is quiet and private, perfect for exploring Albi, with bakeries and a supermarket within walking distance. It’s also a good base for visiting nearby towns by car. The hosts left us a lovely treat and shared some great tips for buying local products. We also travelled with our small Shih Tzu dog, who was very welcome. Overall, a very pleasant stay – we would definitely come back!
