Comfortable and unique place with lots of light and windows spread throughout it’s four levels. As lovely as the interior is, the roof deck with sweeping views of Etna is the star though. The charming town is a real place (unlike luxury, tourist traps like skippableTaormina). Google maps initially let us to the wrong spot and a number of kind locals interrupted their evening and came down from their balconies to help us. An easy drive to a number of great wineries. The host was alsoextremely helpful, making multiple dinner reservations for us and calling around if something wasn’t available. Highly recommended.

Sono stato benissimo a casa di Flavio. È una casa stupenda con tutto, in un posto bellissimo. Casa molto pulito. Flavio era molto gentile e accomodante. Balcone grandissimo, stupendo. Ho fatto yoga al sole la mattina. Volevo rimanere di più! Lo consiglio al cento percento! Grazie! A beautiful place! The accommodation is nice and clean The kitchen is rather spartan, which is sufficient for simple meals, but somewhat limited for elaborate cooking. The journey is a small adventure, but with a little attention it is easily doable for everyone. The landlady is very friendly and easily accessible if needed. Overall, a recommended accommodation for those who appreciate peace, views and comfort!

Such a beautiful place and the views were something else! It was exactly what we had hoped for. We wished there had been chairs outside but we just took the indoor table chairs outside which was fine. Stefania was a lovely, friendly host and she even gave us some volcanic rock to take home, which was a sweet touch. The recommendation to eat at Borgo Santo Spirito was incredible! You have to go!
