Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Mark the host gave us super easy and clear instructions to get to, and get in the caravan which made things super easy. The caravan is absolutely stunning, so clean inside with absolutely everything you need, from plates, cleaning products, even a slow cooker and dishwasher. Everything was left for our one year old including a cot and blankets, and they even had bubbles, loads of games and books for all ages. The WiFi worked really well and honestly we couldn’t fault it. The site was lovely, although there wasn’t loads to do for the kids, they made use of the golf, football pitches and pool. The entertainment was decent and we even won £500 at bingo! Thanks for a lovely stay!

We had an amazing stay! The cottage was just as described and in the perfect location so we hardly had to use the car at all and were able to walk to Windermere, Bowness and Brockhole with our two girls ( 13 and 8). The use of the nearby pool was an added bonus after a day in the mountains. We’ll definitely be back! 😀

This place was beyond our expectations. Immaculately presented, super clean, tidy, jaw dropping views. I can't fault it in any way and I can't rate it highly enough. Will definately look to return in the future. Stunning!

The lodge was fabulous, really enjoyed our stay. I even picked up a couple of decor ideas. Had a lovely time feeding the ducks, swans and other wildlife, very relaxing. Shops and amenities easy to get to by car, lovely restaurants around the area. Would absolutely recommend.

We have just returned from a lovely weekend at Badgers Rest. The home was beautifully clean, had everything we needed and in a great location. The facilities were amazing nearby too.

House was as described, beautiful setting with wonderful views of the hills and mountains. Rooms are spacious with comfy beds and bathrooms are nicely finished with good showers. Kitchen is a good size and has all required implements. A great location for exploring the central lakes and soaking up all that Ambleside has to offer.

We absolutely loved our stay here and found it so convenient for all the places we wanted to visit (including Scafell pike!) The space was immaculate and had everything we needed for our trip. Helen was so easy to contact and so helpful with directions and suggestions of places to go. I’ve already recommended this to friends who want to visit the Lake District :)

A lovely, bright sunny warm home. Lots of character and a great location in Cockermouth (ease of parking a massive bonus). Hosts great to communicate with and highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay here and made amazing memories. The surroundings were stunning, and we felt right at home. We loved the cottage and the little touches made the stay even better - the brownies were to die for. Rosie was a great host, and we’d love to come back in the near future.

Had a lovely stay at Chapel Mews - the perfect base for roaming the hills of the north lakes. Very quiet, well furnished and peaceful. Most definitely recommended.

I had a fantastic stay at this house,The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect—quiet and peaceful, but not close to shops, restaurants .The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making check-in and communication super easy. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches around the home that made it feel warm and inviting. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

A beautiful house in a lovely setting, great for family get togethers, location right on the lake was amazing, & easy access to lovely local town of Glenridding for essentials. Wide range of facilities at the cottage, we really enjoyed the private outdoor eating area next with the wood fired outdoor grill. Very nice well appointed kitchen with quality appliances, bathrooms clean and with quality fittings. Outside garden/woodland area was perfect for us and our dog, although the many steps and steep paths would not suit everyone, but this factor is clearly explained in the information host provides. We found some rooms a little dark, especially on a rainy day but there are some lovely lamps which can be moved around if required. Overall I would recommend this cottage as a great place to stay & enjoy the lake district and all it has to offer.

Amazing stay ! House is very welcoming , extremely well equipt , cosy but also spacious and immaculately clean . Views from the sun room just stopped me in my tracks … breath taking ! - 20 mins or so and we were at Whitehaven where you can walk to st bees beach - 30 minute drives to both blencathra and skiddaw , which we were happy to tick off ☑️… our first visit to the lakes made even better with this lovely home to come back to after a day in the fells ❤️

The Croft is an idyllic place to stay, right on the bank of the river Cocker and central to the town itself. The property is lovely and the hosts are friendly and helpful. This was our second visit, and I hope, not our last

A lovely place hidden away off the A66, easily within range of Keswick and a great number of Northern Lakes Wainwirights. Comfortable and a haven away from some typical Lakeland weather!

Susan’s place was one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in. The place is in an ideal location, two minutes walk to the seafront, cafes and shops. Everything you could need for relaxing stay. Also the local Co-Op across the road. The place is spacious and spotless. The lovely outdoor seating area was great, as we were lucky enough to have beautiful weather. All instructions clear and easy to access the house. Although we didn’t get to meet Susan as she was away, I spoke to her husband and he recommended a lovely Bistro called Stellas , which we booked for the Wednesday evening and both myself and partner loved it, the food was amazing and the host Graeme looked after us. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Our first stay in an Air Bnb and we had an amazing time. The cottage was beautiful, clean, spacious and really peaceful. Lisa greeted us when we arrived and when we needed some help with taxis, provided numbers and the local bus timetable too. The beds were super comfortable. Our daughters loved it. Thank you

Our stay at this charming Victorian townhouse in Cockermouth was truly exceptional. The attic room was particularly lovely, offering not just comfort but also practical amenities like a workstation and a walking pad—perfect if you need to catch up on some work without missing out on relaxation. Communication with the host was seamless, and the thoughtful touches throughout reflected genuine care and personality, setting this apart from typical stays. This home truly captures the spirit of the Lake District and was the ideal base for our adventures. We highly recommend this home!
