We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bob and Lisa’s place!

The cabin was even better than expected! Nicole responded to every question that I had within 10 minutes. This was the perfect place for a kid free getaway and I think it would be just as fun in the winter as the summer. The location was perfect for visiting other cities if you want to travel around. We went to Petosky and Boyne city and visited Northern Michigan speedway on Saturday night. We will definitely be back!

My husband said to put it on the top of re-rent list, highly suggest! The house is rustic in the perfect up north vibes kinda way while keeping all the nice amententies of home. There was plenty of space inside and out.The little lake and view from the deck are beautiful! The privacy and large yard give plenty to do even on somewhat rainy cloudy days, we had fires, kayaked, hiked. We went to the community pool on a nice hot day, the pool was nicely heated, clean and had a great view. It was also connected to a bar and grill that brings cocktails and food to you. We grilled and ate like kings and it was so nice to have the stocked kitchen and grill, the ice maker was a perfect touch and the variety of ways to make coffee and or tea were so thoughtful. We are already talking about when we could go again! Thank you for the wonderful mini vacation❤️

Loved our stay in Michigan, we loved the privacy that the Airbnb gave us and the jacuzzi was so worth it!

Bill was the most attentive host we’ve ever had. He’s personable and communicates well and truly wants to make sure your needs are met. He met us at the cottage and did an in-person orientation of the home. I felt comfortable texting him if any questions came up later. This was a beautiful home and very well cared for.

Timothy was an excellent host. He was very responsive to my initial questions as someone who is newer to renting an AirBnB and was quick to help when I called about an issue with one of the smoke alarms on arrival (extremely minor, just a faulty battery, but I wanted to make sure to ask before deactivating it). Overall a nice place to stay, I would definitely return in the future!

We have stayed at Timber Valley multiple times as a family and it is always a yearly highlight getaway for us. Kristi's place is very cozy and inviting especially being surrounded by the woods and nature. The house is the perfect size for our family of six and we have even had additional family stay with is in the past with more than enough room to accommodate our needs. Kristi is always responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns that come up. You can't go wrong with a stay at Timber Valley!

Our stay at High Banks Haven was very relaxing with privacy and lots of amenities. The wood burning hot tub was such a treat, we were in it multiple times a day. Once you get it to temp. it’s amazing how well it holds temperature the next morning! A quick walk down a set of stairs to the beach, it’s very rocky but that’s what we were looking for. The master bedroom was cozy and had a comfortable firm mattress. Everything was clean and tidy. Kelly was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. We had a wonderful stay and will rave about this place to everyone we know!

Book it! Go enjoy the state parks, higgins lake, the zoo, miles of trails for bikes or walking and have a beautiful place to call home for the night. Food and ice cream all over the area. It's the kinda of place where they make you pump your gas befor you pay. Took my boat and overall it was just a great time! The place is clean and quiet. I doubt you will be disappointed.

The house is comfortable and inviting, the bed we slept in was comfortable. There are plenty of towels and blankets. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to cook in. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet and watching birds from the deck, along the driveway, and on the nearby trail. The house is located not far from Alpena, which is fun to visit, and there are many parks and beaches nearby. It was nice to drive north as well, and to explore the Presque Isle area. We saw beautiful wildflowers and had gorgeous beaches to ourselves. (We visited in May.) we had a wonderful stay.

This is a fantastic home just a few steps from Hubbard Lake. My wife and two adult children stayed here for an extra long Memorial weekend. It was easy to find and easy to gain access. The home is very clean, very quiet, and quite comfortable. The kitchen looks brand new and has very modern appliances. The bedrooms are spacious, comfortable, and private. We especially enjoyed all the little touches provided by the hosts: big beach towels, a s'mores basket, extra toiletries, many games, etc. The owners are communicative and responsive. I will definitely stay here again!

We came into town to stay for a few days to celebrate a birthday. the home was absolutely gorgeous, modern, and everything was carefully thought out. Anything you could need, they have thought of! The hosts were very communicative and the fact that we could bring the pups, really made this trip more fun. The only suggestion I have would be to possibly add a fence and a hot tub, then you have no reason to leave! 😉

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and smelled great. Quiet neighborhood with the house located on a dead end street next to a fishing dock and across from a sandy public beach. Having access to the golf cart was a great added touch. The water was low so we couldn’t fish, but it was still a beautiful place to stay on the water. Only issue we had was the back porch doors not having curtains/blinds leaving little privacy after dark and very bright sun coming in in the afternoons. I highly recommend this place to people looking to relax.

10/10 will book again! We traveled with our toddler and two dogs and this house was perfect. The fully fenced yard was private and peaceful - our greyhound had tons of room to run. The location was extremely convenient too. We could easily walk across 23 to the state park beach, down the street to ice cream, or take longer walks (25m one way) through the state park to downtown Harrisville for coffee/breakfast. Check in was a breeze, the house was clean, all the instructions were clear, and the setup of the house made it so easy to stay with our toddler and our dogs. Highly recommend staying here.

This house is beautifully located right on Lake Huron. It was the perfect setting for our family vacation. Ileana was a gracious and helpful host! Would definitely return.

This home was the perfect spot for a quick weekend escape—peaceful, relaxing, and filled with great amenities. The view of the lake was beautiful, especially at sunrise, and made mornings feel extra special. Everything inside was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up to make our stay easy and enjoyable. Communication with the host was excellent—clear, responsive, and helpful from start to finish. Overall, a great place to unwind and recharge.

My husband and I couldn’t have been more pleased with this B&B!! It was exactly fit what we envisioned for our private little getaway following our wedding! It was so peaceful and relaxing, especially having the warm hot tub while we admired the gorgeous lakefront view!! Extremely kind hosts as well!! Couldn’t have been more pleased all around!! We cannot wait to come back!!

John provides a great experience for anyone wanting to experience fun on the water to sunrise and sunsets. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. He provided everything he said in the description. He stopped by when we were out and chatted for a few. Asked if we needed anything. We highly rexommend and will come back in the future.

Jessica thought of everything for this place! It looks exactly like the pictures. The sunroom is the best part. The lighting and ceiling fans in all the rooms is great. The coffee bar, wine bar, and games were really thoughtful. It was so clean. The place is peaceful. It was just me, my boyfriend and our dog but they have this listing set up for a bigger group of people and it is also very kid friendly. If you’re thinking about booking, do it now.

We had a GREAT family getaway! The home was beautiful, close to the beach, and a peaceful haven to refresh as a family! Ivonne was very helpful and quick to respond. She provided great recommendations for Oscoda and left so many helpful extras to make our stay easier. We loved it and hope to return again soon!

This spot is such a gem, and so is Fran! Highly recommend staying here, every detail is thought out which makes a little vacation so easy! The views are gorgeous!

When we arrived it was easy to get into the house, the code was easy to remember and the home was clean. We enjoyed our time there, it was just over too soon.
