Monthly Rentals in Alpine Lake

My father-in-law stayed here for a number of months while he was house hunting. The location is super convenient - just a minute's walk to shops and restaurants. He was delighted that the kitchen was fully stocked with pretty much every piece of equipment he could need and commented on how clean the place was (he's picky). A dedicated parking spot was a big bonus. The apartment was cozy and had heat as well as two window AC units (in LR and bedroom), which was critical during a couple of heat waves. He found the bed comfortable and the bedroom quiet enough since it faces away from downtown. (If you need complete quiet, this isn't the spot for you, but for being located so close to the main drag, it's not bad.) On the one occasion there was a glitch with the internet & TV, the host was extremely responsive and had someone come out within a couple of hours to get it fixed. She also gives you a direct line to the internet person and cleaning lady. Great service. Would recommend!

This was a perfect spot amid beautiful redwoods. The place was comfortable with lots of great and thoughtful details and Jennifer was amazingly flexible and communicative as I settled in. I would love to stay there again for a quiet respite. Thank you!

Peg is an awesome host. She was very responsive and proactive and made a lot of helpful suggestions without being overly intrusive. The place is very comfortable and well-appointed. Good water pressure and temperature in the shower. The kitchen has what one needs although I can't comment on the oven/range as we didn't cook. We liked it's location up in the hills. The only possible negative would be for very tall people as the bathroom ceiling was 6'4" above the floor. I'm 6'1" and it was no problem at all.

To say that this place was great is an understatement. It was extraordinary. The place was adorable. The decorating was done by someone with a real eye for balance and beauty (Martin.) There was every amenity that you could possibly need- plus surprise extras (like a noise machine for sleeping, lotions galore etc.) Martin was also very friendly and responsive. I highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area.
