In the middle of the forest, on a clearing, 3 km from the beautiful town of Gartow, lies our special retreat. If you are looking for peace and quiet in nature and value simplicity and goodness, this is the place. The old half-timbered building, a former stable, was renovated with high quality and sustainably with natural materials. Clay plaster on the walls and the wood-burning stove guarantee an excellent indoor climate, and the walk to the wood-fired sauna promises absolute relaxation!

Vacation home on the Drömling

Right on the Drömling, the unique biosphere reserve, is our apartment on the ground floor of a large farmhouse. It has a separate entrance. Parking with the possibility to charge the electric car is available right in front of the house. The courtyard property is completely fenced and therefore ideal for children. The swing, the sandbox and the stilt house may be played with, so that our dog, cats, chickens and ponies quickly become a minor matter. You are welcome to use the pool.

Sunny, large garden, family-friendly and fireplace: The beautiful apartment in a converted barn is ideal for people looking for peace, exercise and nature. You can make campfires, go on bike rides or sit in the dormer and enjoy the unobstructed view over the garden and pastures. A beautiful lake can be reached by bike. Wi-Fi (about 23/7 MBits) and a washing machine are available as well as two private entrances. The sauna costs €10 for 2 hours, each additional hour €5.

Our room rental in the beautiful old town house is located in the center of our beautiful Hanseatic city of Gardelegen, just 150 meters from the historic town hall square. In the courtyard is the courtyard cafe “Kräuterhof“. Your apartment is there to enjoy and to dream. In our rooms, feeling good is easy. Apartment approx. 60 m² on the 2nd floor of an old, former restaurant. For families: large garden and lawn for playing, chilling, barbecuing. For nature lovers: Two large lakes with wild birds nearby, the Green Belt in the former border region. For history buffs: Megalith Route, The Young Archaeologists. Not everything is perfect with us (work still awaits in the yard and in the barn :), but we offer relaxed living and freedom.

Welcome to the construction trailer, welcome to nothingness. Enjoy the tranquility in this small retreat. In rural idyll, you can relax or work away from the hustle and bustle. Let your gaze wander over fields or the garden, let your soul dangle in the hammock or meet cows and donkeys while walking. The spa town of ARENDSEE is only 15 minutes away by car. Here you can swim, eat ice cream, ride a bike and go out to eat.

Time out on the Mittelland Canal

Visit us in our small apartment (30 m²) in a quiet location overlooking the Mittelland Canal. The large garden, which you are welcome to use, and the wind-protected terrace promise relaxation in almost any weather. Parking for bicycles is available on the property (partially covered). This is also the habitat of our Labrador mix Luci. The journey by car to Magdeburg is 15 minutes and to Haldensleben 21 minutes.

Romantic lakeside cottage, sauna

Rustic romantic mini house for two people. Unique lake view from bed, right on the water, with sauna, surrounded by greenery. The house is part of a small tiny house vacation resort (four houses). The other cottages are also bookable on Airbnb. The house is easily accessible by train. Hämelerwald train station is only a 15-minute walk away.
