Tara was very responsive from the start and during our stay. The home was very clean access was perfect and the pool was awesome. Awesome game room downstairs with great AC, games darts and fun times. I would highly recommend this location.

Our stay here went perfectly! We felt right at home from beginning to end. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, which put my mind at ease at night and when we were away. The house is about a half hour from Galveston and Houston, making it a great choice if you have plans in both places like we did. There are plenty of restaurants to pick from in the nearby area as well. The dogs appreciated the fenced in backyard that is well maintained. To top it all off, Ivan is a great host! He is very friendly and made sure that we had what we needed. I highly recommend staying here and will be adding this AirBNB to my favorites list. Thank you, Ivan!

Overall had a great stay! A few things to note for future b&bers: The only staircase is a black spiral staircase, which was a little difficult for our older family members to manage. The cooking utensils/food storage is a bit on the sparse side, if you plan on doing a lot of cooking/having leftovers, you may want to bring some cheap plastic Tupperware! The bbq grill/beach gear leaves a lot to be desired! It has definitely seen the wear and tear of previous guests. Which isn’t a big deal, but not something to depend on using without some TLC. Overall our stay was amazing. It’s a dream location with amazing beach access. The beds were phenomenal, and I will miss how comfortable it was. Shannon was an amazing host and left fresh flowers and apothecary items for us leaving the whole place smelling amazing our whole visit. I would absolutely recommend Mermaid manor to anyone visiting the area!

My family and I loved this place! We can’t wait to return! I think I sat on the balcony for most of my trip. Holly was very responsive and very sweet.

We needed a place to stay last minute after our house was damaged being struck by lightning. We found this rental and were able to book the same day. They were very accommodating, always responsive, and very kind. My sons, husband, and I really enjoyed all of the amenities in the backyard, especially the pool and the hot tub. This is a home you can rent and never have to leave because there are so many things to do! Highly recommend to anyone considering this rental!

Great home. Great amenities. The host really helps you settle in to what’s in the community which is a great benefit and stress relief! We got the golf cart rental and beach umbrella/chair set up so this made it even better. Access right onto the beach with the golf cart. We caught a ton of fish at the recommend neighborhood spots and went back and forth from beach to fishing and also enjoyed the kayaks! Can’t wait to stay again next year.

Wonderful place to stay. Super cute decor and very clean. Steps to the beach, close to shops. House was stocked better than any vacation rental we have ever stayed in. Has what appears to Be a matching house next door with connecting back yards so would be a great place for large families. We will stay here again.

Megan’s RV was perfect for our quick getaway! It was very clean, well-kept, and surprisingly spacious. It comfortably fit my mom, two kids, and me with no problem. The layout was great—with a queen bed, a bed above the driver’s area, and a sofa bed, there was plenty of room for all of us. The shower, though compact, worked perfectly! I was honestly worried about the water pressure, but it was strong and consistent with no issues. We were also pleasantly surprised that it was ready an hour earlier than expected—such a nice bonus! We felt comfortable and well taken care of the entire time. I would definitely book again—highly recommend!

Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful home! The back yard was AMAZING! The house was very spacious with everything you could possibly need! House was also very clean. The back yard is breathtaking, heated pool, fire pit, plenty of outdoor sitting and even a TV outside. Gloria was very nice and very responsive and answered all of my questions as well as provided clear instructions on checking in and out. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this beautiful home again!

We loved this place! We were working a graveyard shift, so before we left and when we got home were perfect fishing times. It's very serene and peaceful. I stayed in Adriana’s home for a girls trip and we had so much fun. The home was perfectly located close to everything. Restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, bars, and the airport. Easy access to the highway. The house was beautiful and had everything you would need to stay away from home and more. Exactly like the pictures. I would highly recommend.

This place is incredibly beautiful. I loved it, but my wife fell in love with it, so much that she told me we need to return as soon as possible. It's a place with such good vibes and a sense of peace we've rarely experienced in the past. The people who rented it that day are incredible! Very respectful and extremely friendly. Excellent property conveniently located when visiting Jamaica Beach.

The host was very communicative. Very responsive. There was a gliche getting inside the house but it was quickly addressed with a phone call.

Jessica is very responsive and helped me have a place during an unexpected issue in my permanent home. Highly recommend!

We were very happy with our stay, just the right size for two adults and our two small dogs. Very nice fenced area for them to use. The area was close enough to our destination's in Galveston and very peaceful neighborhood. We will definitely book again the next time we go down to fish with Williams Party Boat, the 4 hour fishing trip was just right. Thank you Sherri for a wonderful place to stay. See you next time!

Rhea was super helpful during our stay! Check-in and check-out instructions were clear and the unit was exactly what we were looking for! Rhea went out of her way to assist us!
