Wollaton Park Studio, Nottingham

A spacious lounge with double bed and large leather sofa, chairs. HD TV & a Bose Bluetooth music speaker. The Studio is private and totally separate from the main house. Own Small Kitchen with Sink, Fridge, Twin Hotplates and a Microwave Oven. Shower and Toilet with Hand Wash Basin. The Studio is a 10 minute bus ride from the city centre but in a quiet leafy area and is only a five minute walk from Wollaton Park. Private off road parking is provided for guests right next to the studio entrance.

Situated on a steep hill above the Derwent Valley, it’s a short drive or good walk to Chatsworth and Bakewell and Matlock. Nestled on the edge of Beeley Moor Copy Wood sits below woodland and is surrounded by fields grazed by sheep. A short walk down brings to Rowsley village. The Kennels

Kick off your walking boots, wash down your bike or just park up the car, this freshly converted kennels is the place to relax for a few days. Peaceful and away from it all but close enough to explore the beauty of the Peak District and Chatsworth House. Matlock is a couple of miles away with restaurants, shops and amenities. You can start exploring from the door step; we can help with guides, directions and recommendations. The room can be configured as a luxury Super King or twin beds.

Two upstairs bedrooms, with a king size bed & Freeview TV, plus one with single (further beds on discussion); bathroom and downstairs shower room. Downstairs sitting room with microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge (no freezer), without a kitchen sink and TV. Washing up service provided. This is all for your private use with your own front door, in effect a self contained unit.

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to amenities and attractions. 1 double bedroom, an extra single put up bed can also be requested, in the living area, for an extra £25 per night. nespresso coffee machine, pods provided for guests to use. but 50p contribution, per pod used. would be appreciated, to replenish stocks. 😊

Rooms with a View

A self-contained annexe, with its own kitchen and bathroom plus a separate bedroom on an open-plan mezzanine floor above, accessible via a spiral staircase. There is free parking on the drive for one car. Please be aware that the stairs can prove challenging to older visitors or those with disabilities, and they also make the annexe unsuitable for infants.

17th century cottage in Matlock

A very old stone cottage but newly renovated inside. The cottage was my home, my children were all brought up there. I now live in a barn at the top of the driveway which we tried to build in as energy saving way as we could. During the cottage renovation we have tried to make the space as 'green' as possible.
