Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Amber Valley

Our second year staying here for our 'hiking reunion', perfectly placed to walk out the door and explore the surrounding peaks, this year we hit the Stanage Edge hike. Many thanks!

Such a special beautiful place with a lovely host who added lots of nice touches. The garden with the day bed and view of the hills and village was stunning and smart projector in the bedroom was unique to any air bnb I’ve stayed in and felt like such a treat. Can’t recommend this place enough, would love to stay again.

What a lovely cottage! The views were spectacular! My daughters and I took many pictures of the countryside and of the adorable sheep grazing nearby. The cottage was perfect for resting up and refreshing between our trips to the Chatsworth House and Gardens. The fact that this was our second time here speaks volumes. Superb place, ideal for a 'get away from it all' break. Host lives quite close and responds immediatley to any queries. No cellphone coverage but superfast wi-fi. Can't wait till next year.

Richard was a gracious host, generous with his time and his advice. This went beyond just tips on the area, and extended to assistance with our car trouble when we got a flat tire. His family was similarly welcoming and accommodating to our needs. As city dwellers, my kids enjoyed the wide open spaces as well as interacting with the various animals, including the dog Dennis and the two pigs. Thanks for a memorable stay!

Had a fantastic stay at the stables with my work family! Plenty of room for 7 of us. Used the hot tub. Had a stroll around the lake, would be lovely to visit in the summer. Went into Ashby for Sunday roast at a restaurant called 12 which was lovely would recommend. We’ll be back!

We were a group of 2 families who live at opposite ends of the country and Orchard barn and Anvil cottage were the perfect meeting spot for us! We loved the breeze house and the hot tub and there were so many outdoor seating areas to enjoy the sunshine and the views. The cottage itself had everything you could need and the appliances and furnishings were all high end and spot on. The kitchen was very well equipped and a gas BBQ was available for us to use. Adam met us at check in and ran us through anything we needed to know and he offered great suggestions for things to do - the Dod and Partridge pub being a favourite! We had a great stay and would highly recommend it.

The accommodation was in a great part of Nottingham, close to city centre and great pubs and eateries. Parking isn’t great, but we managed to get into an ncp close by. Suggest u download the app in advance, will save u a couple of £. Instructions from host were great, but this is not for anyone who doesn’t like stairs lol. Had a great weekend and I’m sure we will be back.

A beautiful place to stay, with everything you need, tucked away in a quiet and peaceful residential area. Comfy bed, good shower, clear instructions and most of all a very generously stocked kitchen – which just makes you feel at home. And even better, the place stayed nice and cool during a heatwave! Lisa is quick to respond, including to an amend to dates. Airbnb done right!

Absolutely loved my stay, couldn’t recommend Steve and Lisa’s place enough. They were also both lovely and extremely responsive to any questions I had, including providing additional instructions when I managed to get myself to the wrong entrance

A quirky accommodation perfect for a few days visiting the area.

Excellent stay, well equipped in the outdoor kitchen. Clean and tidy and very friendly hosts and very responsive. Location is peaceful, pretty and only a few minutes from Alton Towers. Great stay thank you

5 minute drive Alton towers which we went to on one of our days , on the second day we got an uber in to town and had a really lovely lunch at the bulls head - recommend the kebabs. Our car unfortunately broke down whilst here and Jessica and her husband were really helpful! Amazing cabin, amazing hosts! Would definitely stay again.

my stay at the cabin was lovely, definitely exceeded my expectations, was very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Hottub was amazing aswell, just what i needed to relax and unwind, would definitely recommend to others.

Plenty of comms from the moment we booked. Beautiful location and a lovely welcome package from Sarah. Within minutes of arriving we were already looking when we can book to come back. We had an amazing stay in the Peaks. Beautiful views and light in the pod with everything you could need. We enjoyed the fire and cooked in the kitchen, before heading out into the surrounding countryside. Great location and really flexible hosts. I would highly recommend.

We stayed here for my partner’s birthday, it was lovely getaway and break from life itself. A stunning view from the room and Hot tub. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. As well as the accommodation was very clean and tidy. There’s pubs, restaurants and walks close by and the whole surrounding area feels safe, secure and peaceful. I’d definitely recommend to anyone who was looking at a peaceful getaway.
