Our lovely property is a dormer bungalow, which sleeps 8 guests. It is located in Ambleside, backs onto Stockghyll Falls and is a stone's throw from the bustling town centre. With lots of classic Lakeland walks on offer from the front door, this easy-living family home is a proven haven. We’re taking extra steps to sanitize frequently touched surfaces between reservations after the coronavirus. Ample precautionary signs are in place on the stairs leading to the loft conversion bedroom upstairs.

Wansfell Holme is a beautiful Grade 2 Listed period house set in a perfect location in the Lake District National Park, now a UNESCO World Heritage site. We have incredible views over Lake Windermere (100 yards from the house), and there is easy access to the lake, woods and fells . In addition, Waterhead and Ambleside are within easy walking distance, and we are more or less central for visits to other parts of the Lake District by car.
