In the past our Cellar House was home to canned garden vegetables, potatoes, and apples. Today up to 2 guests can enjoy their relaxing farm visit in the newly renovated yet rustic upper room. Hiking on property, campfire area, fishing in our Spring Fed Pond. Located near Elk River State Park for a day of Biking, river swimming, & Kayaking. Drive the back road to New River National Park for an adventure. This room is set up for a short visit or a long stay. Hot homemade fresh breakfast incl!

This is my gesture for our Maker. A hidden cabin used for a sanctuary in a magical setting tucked away in the Appalachian Mountains of Kanawha County West Virginia. A beautiful hike up. This is a place for nature lovers or anyone who is yearning for peace, maybe someone who has had hardship, grief, pain and just needs to connect back to reality. Admire His artwork here. This cabin is expensive to keep up with the propane heat, the stove gas and amenities. Donations are necessary to operate.

After a long day, cuddle up on the couch and watch a move in front of the fireplace. 4wd required a steep driveway.

The chalet is conveniently located one mile from Summersville Lake (Battle Run Recreation Area), 22-miles from the New River Gorge National Park, and four miles from the Upper Gauley River rafting and kayaking put-in.
