Cozy cabin with a lovely sea view

In this quiet accommodation you can enjoy a view of the fjord from the living room, terrace or from the outdoor wilderness bath. It's only 5 minutes down to the sea. To Sauda it is only a 15 min drive by car. Here you can find most of it, including a swimming pool. Lots of possibilities for great mountain hiking and other nature experiences throughout the year. Svandalen ski center is 15 min. away by car. The cabin is rented out to guests who respect that they live in our private cabin and are NOT rented out for parties and private events.

Stølshaugen

The cabin is idyllically located with panoramic views of the beautiful village of Førde, the fjord and even a lot longer. Even though the cabin lies by itself practically on a pile, lay it on a farmer's yard, cows sheep and lambs in the vicinity. The cabin has character, is more than 100 years old and has between anna a large, printed Viking ship model hanging on the ceiling. The entire cabin was restored a few years ago and then got modern equipment such as a new bathroom with heating cables and new kitchen with all necessary equipment.

Skjoldastraumen is an idyllic and quiet place with opportunities for more activities and excursions. The place is probably best known for its saltwater locks that opened in 1908. The saltwater blades are the only ones in Norway that are still in use. The sandy beach on Notaflå is centrally located and provides swimming opportunities on a nice summer day. Also in the vicinity is the Straumen school. Here, the kids can play and play football. If you drive to Nedstrand you will not find unknown Himakånå. "Straumen is the Draumen"

Short distance to several large companies such as Fatland Ølen AS, Westcon, Ølen Betong, Omega, AutoStore and more. There are also several marked hikes in our municipality Vindafjord.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Use it as a home office and combine with nature experiences at the same time! Bring your SUP board or go for a hike with a view to Folgefonna! Enjoy breakfast overlooking the fjord. Maybe you see more porpoises, or even orcas! Lots of hiking nearby, associated beach with good swimming possibilities, and animals on the farm. In the winter you can enjoy beautifully snow-capped mountain sides, and use ski slopes just nearby when there is snow.

Førsteetasjen i en sjarmerende villa fra 1912. Moderne, varmt og bekvemt, så vi beholder komforten, men med tydelige spor av gammel stil. Huset ligger i en rolig blindgate, et steinkast bak rådhuset. Setter du deg ute i gården med en kaffe, kan du nyte morgensolen og synet av rådhuskuppelen. Det er bare ett hus mellom Laurentzes hus og kinoen. Vil du ha en frokost i det grønne, kan du lage deg en kaffe på kjøkkenet, og spasere to minutter bort i Byparken og nyte den på en grønn benk der.

Then everything will be accessible from the pier edge, so you can just enjoy your holiday Here you can walk straight from the bed up to the nicest peaks and then go back downstairs and have a bath in the sea.

Den er i nærheten av nydelige strender, familievennlige aktiviteter som bading, strandvolleyball, fiske og ikke minst fantastiske turmuligheter i mark og fjell direkte fra hytta. Vi har Standup paddleboards (SUP) som kan lånes gratis. Eget privat uteområde med spiseplass, grill, hengekøye og vedfyrt bålpanne. Hytta har utedusj, kjøkken, toalett og dobbeltseng. Furthermore, the quiet surroundings make it magical when you take a bath in the jacuzzi while watching the sunset. We highly recommend a hike to Himakånå. It is also possible to take a day trip to the Pulpit Rock.
