Fotö belongs to Öckerö Municipality consisting of ten islands, with proximity to the sea as a matter of course. From Fotö, you can reach the other nine islands, either by bridge or ferry. You also have proximity to grocery store, shopping, restaurants about 3 km from Fotö.

Here you live right by the water just a stone's throw from the harbor, on the quiet and idyllic Kalvsund in Gothenburg's northern archipelago, the southernmost part of Bohuslän. Our beautiful island is a real archipelago idyll. There are no cars here, just houses, small marinas, walking paths, our famous lighthouse, Bohuslän cliffs and saltwater swimming at one of our nice swimming areas. Still, it is easy and easy to get to central Gothenburg by public transport with everything the city has to offer.

Charming guest house with fireplace, Torslanda

In the middle of a residential area in Torslanda, our charming farm from the late 1800s is preserved. We rent out the old brewery, which is completely renovated. The house has all the comforts and access to the garden. It is close to the swimming area and public transport. The bus stop is a stone's throw from the house and it takes just under half an hour by direct bus to the central station. The house has one bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. In the living room, there is also a double bed.

Here you can enjoy a fantastic archipelago environment with cliffs and sea right nearby. You have access to a lovely swimming area 150 meters away from the house with a jetty, diving tower, swings, cliffs and sandy beach. The house is newly renovated with all amenities and perfect for up to four people. Private balcony in the west. Gothenburg can be reached in 15-20 minutes by car, parking is available at the house. It's also close to the cozy islands in Gothenburg's northern archipelago.

Charming guest house (35 m²) built in 2022 in Hällsvik, Torslanda. 500 m to swimming area with jetties, sand and rocks. 2 km from the house there is a center with grocery stores, cafés and restaurants. Hällsvik is close to the archipelago with boat trips, hiking trails, cycling and picturesque harbor communities with cafes and restaurants. 25 minutes by bus to central Gothenburg with culture, shopping and events. Perfect if you want to combine nature and city during the same stay.

Bedroom with sea view and exit to the south-facing terrace. The bedroom has a double bed of 180 cm. Open plan kitchen/living room. New fully-equipped kitchen with oven, induction stove, microwave, dishwasher, built-in fridge and freezer. Toilet with shower corner and floor heating. Private garden.

Writers house - a place for poems - Brännö island

Our little guesthouse is cosy and quite, in the end of the "street". It is simple, estetic and easy to like. The veranda gives you possibility to look at the boat passing by to Denmark and Gothenburg. If you like to get inspirated och to take long walks, this is a perfect place for You. We have a couple of restaurants on the island and help You find the best places to bath, walk and eat. Quiet and close to nature.

In the area you’ll find the swimming spot “Hälleviken,” which has a waterslide, bathing jetty, swim raft, and a kiosk (open in summer). Swimming from the cliffs is also available nearby.
