Leah & Lennox’s airbnb was the perfect stay. The lodge was exceptionally clean & the interior was so modern & homely. All amenities were great & the hot tub was super easy to use. The lodge is only a short drive from dumfries which was great for me and my partner as it allowed us to still train at the gym whilst we were away. The forest walk was the perfect start to our morning. The area was very peaceful & we started each morning with a coffee whilst watching the lambs. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay to celebrate my graduation & we cannot wait to return❤️

Fantastic lodge and lovely location! Everything you could possibly need is included and it’s decorated beautifully. The only thing I could ask in future is if there was a vacuum net for the hottub as it can get debris in from the surrounding trees.

1 night stay , beautiful walk and lake nearby , wonderful lodge with fantastic living room and open space . Hot tub and Sauna was a tremendous addition.

The Lodge was perfect. It had everything we needed throughout our stay. We loved the layout of the kitchen and living space which made socialising very easy. The grounds are beautiful with lots of space for activities if the weather allows. Although we aren't really hot tub people, it was emaculate and under a shelter so we could use it even if the rain started. We would highly recommend this to anyone. We would definitely stay again.

We had an absolutely amazing stay, the pod was great it had everything we needed and kept us warm during the very rainy nights we stayed there. The only downside was the road getting down to the pods as our car wasn't so suitable for the off road which we didn't realise (our own fault for having a very low car and not completely reading the description). But other than that the stay was amazing and we will 100% be back in a different car! Thank you for making the pod so welcoming and allowing dogs!!

The lodge and surroundings were absolutely lovely—comfortable, well-maintained.The view from the lodge is wonderful.excellent amenities provided. Proper instructions were given by rob.There is a play area and stream.Kids had a wonderful time We hope to return in the future and will gladly recommend the lodge to everyone.

Really enjoyed our stay, we were celebrating my Mother’s 90th birthday and had other family members staying in other lodges around the park. Beautiful scenery and great location. We’ll definitely be visiting again.

The accommodation was cosy and pleasant, perfect for a group of 4 adults and 2 kids. We loved the field at the back of the lodge and the sheep. Would have been great if we could have checked in from 2pm or have a later check out. Thank you for hosting us, it’s a place that I’ll def recommend to my friends.

This is a lovely cabin in a beautiful location - we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very well equipped kitchen with lots of cooking basics provided too. Cabin is lovely and clean, with very comfortable beds. looking forward to staying again in the future.

Jan was an amazing host, going out of her way to get us an freezer, checking in and always quick to assist us with whatever we needed. Her caravan was clean and homely. It had everything we needed for our 5 weeks stay. Jan's caravan is conveniently located to many trail heads, grocery stores and services. The area is extremely dog friendly and the locals were very welcoming.

Beech Barn was perfect. It was extremely clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is great for a short 5 minute drive into Pooley Bridge. I will definitely be recommending to my friends and family. Thank you.

We absolutely loved our stay here! We thought the room had everything we needed and it was in the perfect walking distance to cafes, shops and restaurants! Such a beautiful area to explore! Would definitely stay again!

The perfect rural setting for 2 people. At first, the area takes your breath away and then it allows you to relax. The Green House is well thought out and has everything you need for your stay. It is delightful to sit on the patio watching the chickens and sheep or listen to the rain. Lots of hiking in the area and sporting clays are also nearby. The local pub is open for dinner every night and lunch on weekends. You are on your own for breakfast

We had a fantastic long weekend in the lodge. Absolutely stunning landscape and the lodge was beautiful. It had everything we needed and more! Thank you so much for a fantastic stay.

Trevor and Angels's van was an excellent overnight stop off on our way up to Skye. The van was very well equipped, comfortable and clean. There is a great walk round the beautiful lakes close to the site; a great place to stretch your legs and walk the dog, after a long journey.

We were looking for a peaceful place to stay on the last night of our 2 week family road trip and Lucy’s place looked perfect for this. The cabin as described is located in the yard on a working farm alongside two other cabins. The cabin has a fantastic private balcony that isn’t overlooked that you can peer at the stream and into the field of cows and hills beyond. There are some great walking routes on the doorstep which we enjoyed on the evening of our arrival. There are also some nice places to eat in Moffat a short drive away but be aware that like many small towns they offer shorter opening hours reduced service or shut on a Monday, so make sure to stop by the shops in town for supplies. The cabin is well provisioned and cosy particularly with the log fire. We awoke to the gentle sounds of the stream running right by the bedroom window. Our 4 year old son was mesmerised seeing farm machinery working in the yard out of his bedroom window. Thanks Lucy!

A lovely wee cabin with plenty of space to move around, very clean, and has all the amenities that you need. Views out of every window are amazing and for those that need there is full 4/5g signal. Amazingly friendly and responsive hosts as well that show they really care about the stay being a great experience for their guests. Will definitely use again should I be looking to stay in the area

Janice was the best host. She was so kind and helpful, always responsive. Janice went above and beyond for us and was great. The pod was incredible with the hot tub being a highlight for us, it was 10/10 and kept extremely clean.

The Riverside Pod is a gorgeous, serene escape. Beautiful location with a lovely picturesque village within walking distance. The Pod itself is cosy yet spacious and the sounds of the running river directly outside was simply perfect. Would love to return…definitely for longer next time! Thank you Val!

My wife and I stayed with our two children 11 and 8. The kids loved it and as did we. Amazing location. Quiet and peaceful with stunning scenery. Really friendly hosts. Would highly recommend!
