We had a wonderful time at Ton and Lizette’s place. The house and surroundings were even nicer than the photos. The house had everything we needed for a weekend away. They even included a few dog treats to also welcome our dog. He really lived his best life exploring outside. We felt relaxed and enjoyed taking walks in nature. The bed was so comfortable with the adjustable settings and reading lamps. We were sad to leave, but we look forward to going back!

We have already been to this beautiful house several times and always feel very comfortable. It really has everything you need and both nature and Emden are really easy to get to.

We had a wonderful stay at this fantastic house! It is really perfectly appointed – everything you need is there, and it is super clean and spacious. The house is a real retreat to relax with lots of great extras such as the boat, whirlpool and perfectly equipped kitchen. The location is just ideal and our children felt very comfortable there – they even fell asleep quickly, which speaks for the comfort. Overall an absolute dream that we would book again at any time. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful week. The house has all the comforts, including a very nice kitchen. The sun in the front garden was also nice, where we could have had a quiet breakfast. The location is nice and quiet, so we were really able to sleep very well. In the area we enjoyed the nature, the tranquility and the friendly people. The reception was warm and personal, even our dog Bettie received a warm welcome. All in all recommended, we will definitely come back there. Finally, I would also like to mention Dokkum, a very nice town with special shops and good restaurants. Thank you Coen and Anne (and Marianne) for this beautiful, nice week. Wonderful hosts! Both Bert and Anita were so kind to show us around the property, as well as check with us to make sure we had what we needed. Lovely location and beautiful house!

The house is wonderfully located on a small Siel with evening sun in the garden - wonderful! The decor is stylish and chic. The kitchen is very well equipped and even in the rain you can eat outside under a roof on the terrace. It is a stone's throw to the Petkum ferry (there are good fish sandwiches) and you can quickly reach Emden after a short bike ride along the canal. All around a very great accommodation, which I can only recommend.

Typical Dutch cottage – charming, cozy and exactly as described. We felt very comfortable. The only small point: we would have found a microwave practical at times. The location is ideal as a starting point for bike tours in all directions. Highly recommend for those seeking tranquility and nature!

Beautiful cottage, beautiful garden, beautiful rural area. Very good, various and abundant breakfast. The mattress was really comfortable. Annie and her husband are extremely gentle and helping but still respecting the privacy of the guests.

Thank you very much Jolanda for your hospitality, it was very nice to be in the cabin, everything was enough, everything was provided, the only thing is that there is no air conditioning and it was very hot at check-in, but since we planned to walk during the day and get home in the evening, it did not frighten us, since in the morning and evening we felt great. The hostess gave great recommendations for nearby interesting places, which we took advantage of, thank you for this separately! We also visited the village of Giethoorn, it is amazing and not far at all. Overall, the vacation was wonderful, we recommend it.

We had a lovely week with our two children (5 and 8 years) in the cottage on the Schildmeer. We were able to swim almost every day and otherwise explored the surroundings (Groningen, Appingedam, Delfzijl). The amenities are better than indicated: there is toilet paper, hand soap, hand and tea towels and a large selection of cooking utensils and spices in the kitchen. There is no oven, but a microwave where we prepared our casserole. We had a good time and say thank you very much!

It was an exactly as described. Everything was tidy and clean and good communication!

We loved our week in your home. It was full of conveniences, super nice. Everything was present and the space was surprisingly large. In the photos you didn't see that it was so spacious. The space is cleverly used and cozy. The contact was smooth and convenient. Nearby so many fun things to do. In the park itself as well and the place Gramsbergen is very charming.

The cottage was fully equipped, clear explanation about the accommodation and cozy and clean. We could not come until later than the agreed time so the sheet packages, the high chair and the cot were already ready for us instead of having to pick them up. Very attentive. Due to the nice contact, the cottage and the park itself definitely recommended!

A clean cabin in the woods with a small garden. Large dogs won't escape, but small dogs are able to escape through the bushes, so it's better to have them on a leash.

Beautiful large accommodation, super equipped!!! Very quiet location. We were able to relax and also explore the surroundings by car. For us it was just right to end our vacation. The canoe tour was very nice - thank you again for lending it!!

The cottage we rented was small, but nice. Everything a person needs was present. If you are looking for peace and quiet, beautiful bike paths, cozy villages and lots of cafes, this is an excellent accommodation! Deborah and Fried are also warm and have a listening ear. The beautiful garden behind the house invites you to relax and read a book. We have spent wonderful days.

Great location to explore the city on foot, nice apartment and friendly hosts - we'd love to come back!

We we‘re so happy with our stay in Zuidwolde! Beautiful countryside around the Airbnb, lovely to sit outside and enjoy it. Only 10 min in car to central Groningen, very easy route. There is private and free parking on the property. The flat is good size for a nice weekend away, we had everything we needed. Communication with Klaas was great, we’d definitely book again!

The accommodation is super furnished, everything is super clean and well maintained. We highly recommend. Thanks and see you next time!

Returned to this location after 4 years. I wanted to do it a lot earlier, but I couldn't. Actually, it's dangerous to be so full of praise, because then more people will come! Delightful location: cottage and surroundings. Excellent beds, easy to heat room, nice warm shower and good kitchen facilities. And the peace and quiet! But nature wins: from the garden into the forest, spotting squirrels. Next time we won't wait so long with our stay!

We had wonderful Easter days in the cottage. The house has all the comforts. Good beds, nice shower and the kitchen is spacious. During our stay seen a lot from and learned about the life of a farmer with a dairy farm. The calves and dog petted. The area is beautiful. From the house you can immediately start walking and cycling trips. In short, recommended. Family Addink, Thank you for the hospitality and service.
