Stay in the old village schoolhouse

Our historic school building with wonderfully high ceilings and its thick sandstone walls offers plenty of space (about 130 square meters) for up to four people. It was lovingly ecologically renovated by us until 2013. Downstairs there is a large kitchen-living room, upstairs a cozy small bedroom and a large studio, which can also be used by artistically ambitious guests. From Gräfenhausen you can go directly to the Palatinate Forest by mountain bike or on foot. The nearest climbing rock is also a 20-minute walk. In the village there is a small restaurant with a village shop and a bakery (both directly opposite the house).

The EyerHof - the special vacation home in the Palatinate

The EyerHof - owned by the Eyer family for three generations - is a farmhouse over 120 years old that was completely renovated from 2019 - 2022 and now combines the special charm of a farmhouse with modern industrial style. Next to the terrace, courtyard and garden there is a barbecue station with a large new Rösle gas grill & the barn which can be used as a cozy lounge. The interior of the house combines timber-framed construction with modern iron, wood, sandstone, clay walls and old with new 🖤

Vacation home in the chestnut forest

Our vacation home in Burrweiler is located on the edge of the Palatinate Forest on the Southern Wine Route in the middle of the chestnut forest on the Teufelsberg, at an altitude of 355 m, below the St. Anna Chapel. On the 1250 m² fenced forest property there is a viewing area with a distant view of the Rhine plain, a patio made of old oak trunks and a picnic bench. The Sonnenhang house is a barrier-free new building with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and an open living and dining area with fireplace and panoramic views. It has a large private garden with several terraces, a herb bed and fruit trees. A grill is also available. Hauenstein is surrounded by sandstone rocks and ideal for exploring the Palatinate Forest – whether it's hiking, biking or simply enjoying nature. The premium hiking trail “Schusterpfad” can be reached in 5 minutes.

Mountain chalet on stilts with sleeping alcove, panoramic castle view, bunk beds, modern bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, and covered balcony. Please note: the chalet is about 300 m from the parking area and accessible only on foot. The stilt houses are located about 300 m from the Jugendstilhotel Trifels and can be reached via a paved walking path. You may borrow a handcart for your luggage. Check-in takes place at the reception of the Jugendstilhotel Trifels.

Welcome to our small, cozy apartment. There is no through traffic here. It is an ideal starting point for interesting hikes, climbing or mountain biking in the Palatinate Forest. The region on the beautiful Southern Wine Route is also known as the "Tuscany of Germany". In the middle of the Palatinate Forest, in the largest continuous woodland area in Germany. From here you can explore the beautiful landscape with its castles, rocks, viewpoints and huts.

70s nostalgia apartment

Live in a small museum. Indulge in memories, or experience how your (grand)parents might have lived. Browse old books and magazines, listen to a record or a tape. There are many original items from the 60s and 70s to discover. Therefore, small children are not allowed. I put a lot of effort into creating an authentic atmosphere. The pictures speak for themselves. If you discover something that is too new, please tell me.
