Wonderful place to stay. We met some less than ideal weather for adventuring with our 2 year old and couldn’t have picked a better spot to lay low for a couple nights. The space is beautiful and yet the setting steals the show. The team is working very hard to ensure the experience of staying at Ridge on the Chimney is a once in a lifetime.

The idea was to chill out and recharge by the lake - and that's what happened. We had a terrific time and the staff were so responsive and helpful. Hot tub was excellent and looking out on a stunning view. Great little touches like a welcome gift for Archie the dog too which always helps!

We had a great stay at Joel & Janelle’s ! We loved the neighbourhood and location was amazing with so much close by. The house was a great stay with fully loaded kitchen, lots of towels, everything we needed to be comfortable. Great spot for our family to stay. Our host were also extremely responsive to any questions we had and left us some nice suggestions on restaurants and activities! They are great hosts, with a great cottage with the perfect location, highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Paul’s place. It was clean, comfortable, and close to beaches and places to eat. He answered any questions or small issues we had promptly and was very communicative.

Beautiful cabin, very clean, everything we wanted and as advertised. Relaxing in the hot tub on the deck was so amazing and we would easily book again! Lots of nearby trails to explore, very scenic area and absolutely loved it!

This place was better than advertised. It is in a great location, just across the bridge, and outside of the main touristy areas. We loved the fact that it was surrounded by trees, and the space inside did not feel cramped. In fact, we were pleasantly surprised to find that on the back half of the bathroom, there is a walk-in closet area. As a little tip for future users, this area can be used for your clothing to prevent you from having to take suitcases up the stairs. Outside space is great with a deck area at the front of the A-frame, and a nice sitting area beside a fire pit just a short distance away. The fridge and range are modern and clean. Water pressure was great in the house. One of the charms of this place is the fact that there are so many windows. If you want to sleep later, bring a mask as it is nice and bright in the morning. All-in-one washer and dryer was a nice surprise, and the level two EV charger is a great bonus. We will definitely be back!!!

We had the best time at Rolf’s place! The cottage is beautiful, and the surrounding lake and forest were very peaceful. The hot tub and screened in porch were amazing, we spent most of our time there. Rolf was very responsive to messages, and an all around great host. We’ve already booked another trip back!

As advertised. Close enough to Charlottetown and out in the country near water. My grandson enjoyed the pool. Nice and quiet even on the weekends. Aundrea was a wonderful host

Very cute and clean little cottage and a nice experience staying in an A-frame cottage. Very quiet surroundings (but we stayed there pre-season, it may be busier in the summer). The host was very responsive. I would stay there again.

Beautiful spot, we enjoyed our stay. We will be back and would recommend to friends! Great location by the water and hiking trail nearby.

This little cottage is placed in the best location near Tatamagouche. The sunsets are gorgeous and the cottage has everything we needed for the weekend. We enjoyed our peaceful stay!

Absolutely lovely spot to stay. Very unique experience with picturesque surroundings. Seems very well managed with a very helpful / personable host. We could absolutely see ourselves selecting Sally's Brook again on another Cape Breton adventure. 100% recommend if your looking for a cabin experience!

We had a great stay! The place was immaculate and had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen—it was fully stocked with several appliances which was very convenient. We especially loved the shower, and the abundance of blankets and storage baskets made it feel cozy and well-organized. The only minor drawback was the lack of comfortable seating, but overall, that didn’t take away from our experience. The host was incredibly responsive, pleasant, and helpful throughout. Overall, a wonderful stay—we’d definitely recommend it!

As a retired home renovator, I was extremely impressed by the innovative personal design of almost every part of the shanty being handmade. The last 2 1/2 years that I’ve been living in the Canadian maritime (NB) away from southern Ontario, seeing the outside the box innovation for ecological use of construction materials (and reuse) to make wonderfully appointed buildings projects. East coast decor styling makes for a calming, rustic and charming pleasant stay in this shanty cabin. Kim made me feel welcome as soon as I pulled up in my vehicle. The cabin is extremely clean, simply laid out, airy and comfortable. The fresh ocean breeze mixed with the pleasant cedar wood sent of cabins main construction material only adds to the relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend a stay here, I’m sure the next time I visit PEI I’ll be booking here again. Thank you so much Kim for allowing me this last minute booking, otherwise I would have missed out on this wonderful experience at your place.

Loved this little cabin. It was rustic but had everything we needed. Very private and lovely views. Kitchen was well equipped and tastefully appointed. Lots of hot water for showers. Laundry facility was appreciated. Very friendly staff.

A quiet location with a waterfront view deck was what we were looking for and found. The drive through the tranquil countryside to get the cabin or to the highway was a nice start or finish to a day. My buddy appreciated the quality of the BBQ that was on site. Kitchen well stocked with quality cookware which was appreciated.

Un séjour fantastique pour notre mariage, Ils nous avaient laissé un petit mots et une bouteille de vin pour l'évènement, le chalet est grand et magnifiquement décoré avec toutes les commodités, les propriétaires très gentils et réactifs, le plage est accessible devant directement, on peut se prélasser sur les rochers. À quelques minutes de là ont à visité Anne la Maison au pignons vert et à 1h40 à l'ouest et au nord on découvre des phares et l'eau à perte de vue et même chose à l'est, de l'autre côté avec en plus l'océan atlantique qui est très près, nous avons adoré. En dormant à cette endroit on a pu faire le tour de l'île en 4 jours. On recommande

Very lovely place. Light and airy. We enjoyed having the lower level for our bikes. Comfy bed. Walkable to waterfront and restaurants. We’d stay here again!

This is the perfect home base for your Cabot Trail exploration. Moments from the causeway, but the location feels serene and secluded. Although it looks very close to the main house in the photos, it is very private and we felt like we were all by ourselves. Loved sitting out on the porch watching the hummingbirds in the evening. Cozy, comfy (10/10 bed!), spotless. We will be very likely to stay again!

Wendell and Sheila are very pleasant hosts. Came out to check in with us to make sure all is good and was clear directing us to the house.
