Campsite holiday rentals in Appalachian Mountains

Amazing. Such a peaceful spot by the water. We had such a nice relaxing time. The RV was spotless and had everything we needed, and the outdoor space and kayaks kept everyone entertained all weekend. My whole family enjoyed their stay and talking to some of the other guests at night be the firepit. It was also fun watching everyone work on their boats. This airbnb is a hidden gem in Edgemere. We can’t wait to stay again!

Such a nice quiet spot! The area had multiple campers and spaces rented out but it felt like we were alone, that’s how well it was spaced out and set up. Kid friendly and very easy to relax. Will definitely be back!

My husband and I just had our 25th Anniversary. We didn't get to celebrate it. So we went on a mini trip. We only live a half hour away. We wanted to do some things that were close and uniquely memorable. We decided to stay at your caboose and tour Pipers Museum. We ate at the Texas restaurant in downtown Lock Haven. It had a 50’s atmosphere. We also went to the Restless Oaks Restaurant, which also had a unique concept. They had chain saw sculptures of Big Foot, bears and much more. We really enjoyed our stay in the caboose and the area. Can’t wait to stay there again!

Jim was so flexible. At first I thought i was going to get there early on friday so I wrote him if I could check in early. He said I could be there at noon. We did not end up leaving texas until friday evening so we arrived around 10 am on saturday. The place looked so amazing I still wanted to stay an extra day anyway, I asked if I could add an extra day to my stay since we missed the friday (of course we meant to pay) and he said we definitely could and since we missed friday we could stay the extra day for free! I intended to pay but he said it was fine! Then he walked my kids and I through the main property. The deck, the boathouse, the lake! Wow!!!! It was so beautiful and peaceful! It was like a scene from a movie. Jim offered up sodas and waters and told us if we needed any we can get some at anytime. Walked us inside the main house and said we could get coffee and overall a great and kind host. While out he was messaging me on the AirBNB app to suggest places to visit! 🙌🏼

We had an amaxing weekend at Roddy's place. He was an amazing host, we felt right at home. There were lots of amenities for us to enjoy. Had a wonderful experience 👌

The Grove was everything my partner and I were looking for. It was beautiful and secluded and nature was in full swing of spring. The cabin at The Grove is a very cozy home to spend time resting after spending hours walking the trails on the property.

This was a beautiful and fun location. We had a great time — both adults and kids enjoyed.

We enjoyed our stay! Unfortunately, due to the inclement weather, we were unable to enjoy the creek, grill, fire pit, and other outdoor amenities. Joe and Darlene were very attentive and wanted to ensure that we had everything we needed for our stay. We’re looking forward to visiting again!

We only stayed one night, but my kids immediately asked if we could come back next time we are out that way. We had a great time glamping, enjoyed the hot tub, played some games, watched a move, and the kitchen was well stocked to cook any type of meal. It was a perfect way to spend some quailty time with my two youngest (12 and 15) after a long day of driving. Ryan was incredibly proactive with directions and helpful tips about the property. Highly recommend this updated vintage oasis!

Beautiful “tiny” home with a new deck in a quiet area. Immaculate with everything we needed. Jasmin responded quickly and was gracious enough to answer my questions as a nervous first-time Airbnb renter. Definitely recommend!

The yurt was perfect for our needs! Very cute and came very well equipped! Sandra was incredibly responsive and helpful, i would 100% stay here again and recommend it to all!

This RV was definitely one of the best places i have stayed!! very well kept clean and very cozy!! Could use more privacy (curtains) but definitely not something to be judgmental about!! the host of the RV is also very respectful and friendly!! Definitely loved being outdoors and away from sight of people!!

Shelby was an exceptional host and her place was even better! You can tell from the moment you step inside that this place was a labor of love by a true artist! We had everything we needed during our stay as we cooked breakfast in the morning and got ready to get back in the road. Even though this is a camper, it didn’t “feel” like a camper as in there was no humidity and everything is vented very well! True campers will know what I mean ;) We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again in the future!

Many thanks to Hector for greeting me right on time and personally walking me through all the details of the property. Since it was early summer, there were some mosquitoes outside, but thanks to the mosquito repellent the host had thoughtfully prepared, I was able to enjoy the jacuzzi in the evening without getting bitten. I also had a great time making s'mores at the fire pit. It was such a lovely experience. This was truly a beautiful place to stay.

We had a great time here, especially playing in the creek! Loved all the convenience of a campsite set-up and ready to use. Charming and host was very responsive. Appreciated the thoughtfulness and enjoyed morning coffee on the porch with the sound of the creek. Farm setting was beautiful.

It was such a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing oasis that they've created! My family enjoyed every minute! We will be back, if we're in the area! They are so friendly and great to work with and very responsive! The homemade bread, fresh eggs, homemade peanut butter and jam were a nice surprise and so delicious! Y'all thought of all the little details!

Always love staying at the bus! I’m sure I’ll be back - what a beautiful spot on the Creeper trail with the most wonderful donkeys to visit.

very communicative! we got stuck with a sedan after heavy rainfalls and Jon came and helped us get out. awesome place, will definitely be back!! stream was so pretty and loud since having rained all of our first day, overall great experience. just be careful if you pull down to camper and it’s been raining.

Super cool airstream!!! Friendly and nice place. We had so much fun exploring the area. Very convenient for all the stuff to do around there. We would definitely stay again!!!

This is the first “glamping” Airbnb I’ve stayed at. Let me start by saying: I couldn’t have asked for more. Everything was absolutely spotless and while it’s “camping”? (Sort of) I am genuinely surprised by how clean everything was. I’m not sure what I expected but it was at least 4-5 star hotel level clean, even outdoors on the deck and the bathroom/shower area… I wasn’t necessarily looking for that but it’s surprising enough to mention. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful retreat near New River Gorge then look no further.

This is a fantastic stay for my wife and I's quick little getaway. We love staying at unique places and this fit the bill perfectly. The inside of the train is beautiful and they literally have everything you need to cook with. Dean & Adrienne are fantastic host, very responsive and kind. We definitely recommend this place to anyone. We will be coming back again.
